so in case you can’t tell... i’ve been incredibly absent from this community for the past few months. i’ve honestly just been insanely busy and i can’t even explain how hard this semester has been for me. with that, i am going to be taking a hiatus. i want to thank all of you that have been constantly supporting me even through tough times like this! i’ll be periodically checking up on this acc so feel free to message me whenever and i’ll answer when i can. i love you guys so much have the best year ever <33333

Apologies :( + semi-hiatus

Hi guys! I wanted to apologize for my lack of activity in the past week, and that I STILL haven’t done the blogrates. Those are coming asap! I’ve been very busy with school this week, and I’m having trouble easing into some of my classes , especially with volleyball during September and October, so I’m going to take a semi-hiatus until volleyball is over. July Study Photo Challenge Day 4 (study space, featuring a quote from Hamilton)

Happy Independence Day to all of those living in the USA!  I’m planning to be sort of productive today, but I’m not sure on how that’s going to turn out…

I actually don’t have my own study desk; this is actually my mom’s that I use during the summer. (>////<) But soon I will have my own to use! ^^

13/07/17 Morning calligraphy practise🌞

So this morning I decided to begin my day with some calligraphy practise (and a coffee☕️). I used my Tombow ABT brush pens as I haven’t had a lot of experience with them and would love to get better at using them. I am using a leuchtturm 1917 A5 plain notebook to practise in (it was once a bujo but the plain paper made it so difficult to set new spreads up so I stopped using it).

June journal entry 🌸

This is from a visit to a pub at the end of June where I had the most delicious meal ever! Every time I think about it I get hungry 😂

I messed up on the “menu” bit so that’s why there are the coloured parts (my attempt at making it look like they should be there😂). The doodle is of a pimms and lemonade (aka my fave) and they put oranges,lemons,limes,cucumber and mint in there but I just drew the orange,cucumber and mind leaves.

I finally got my class schedule for the fall. It’s not too bad. Last year I had 13 classes 1st semester and 11 classes 2nd semester, so 10 is an improvement. Fingers crossed that I can survive having 3 English classes 2nd semester 🤞🏻

02/08/17 I was so excited to incorporate this ikea washi tape into my notes so I guess it fuelled my motivation to take some more notes😅. I was really inspired by the colours of the washi tape so I included those in my notes as a sort of colour coding system. Supplies: Zebra sarasa clip 0.5 pens-black,blue black,pink,light green Mildliner-red Pentel fude touch sign brush pen black Much love❤️

This is my first ever printable and i decided to do a handwriting one as @rorygilmorestudy requested one so i thought i would as this is clearer than my handwriting tag. It’s not perfect as this is my first and i don’t have a working scanner so i used the app CamScanner on my iphone.

 14/08/17- august week 3 bujo🌻 🌼

After watching Jordan Clark’s video on youtube about how to draw wildflowers, i tried it on my next set of notes and really liked it so i decided to try it in my bujo. This week’s spread is alot different than the previous two as i was inspired by this layout and thought that i would give it a go!

I used a waterbrush and my tombows to do the faux watercolour effect. The little dandelion seeds are printed from google and i cut them out, placed hem onto my yellow sticky notes and cut around them and then did the little lines. (The sticky notes aren’t hiding anything- i just wanted to fill some space lol). 

i predominantly used my 0.38 mujiblack gel pen and light orange tombow abt dual brush pen. This is in a muji A5 dot gird notebook.

Couples sleepover journal entry - 19/08/17-20/08/17

Hello lovelies! Today I wanted to share this journal entry with you guys. I recently bought some brown packing paper on a roll for super cheap and I’m using it in my bujo where I do my standard bujo spreads and also some journal entries. I also picked up some stamps and inks on the same Sunday that we returned from Coventry so I also used those in this.

The little flowers are from @studiosjoesjoe on Pinterest and I just cut them out and used some ink to ‘paint them’ and then I glued them on to the page.

The white pen I used was the white gelly roll in 0.8 and it’s easier to see in the close up photos and real life.

4/8/17 - new bullet journal 💫📚 So I went to muji yesterday and picked up quite a lot including this A5 dot grid notebook (it’s the one with the pocket on the front) and I decided to give billet journaling another go. My plan is to document nice days that I want to remember I.e the first photo is a spread of the things I purchased whilst out shopping yesterday, and to plan out my life (the way you would use a bujo). The leaf themed august weekend spread was heavily influenced by @gloomstudy post here

The weekend and week spreads are not fully finished as I hadn’t planned for Sunday when I took the photos and it’s not Monday the 7th yet so I can’t properly plan as I don’t know what my plans are lol.

I’m super excited to post more spreads and I have a good feeling that I’ll be able to keep this up as the spreads are quite simple and I can just decorate them when I have the time to. 💫

(Pls excuse the mismatched theme of the shopping spread-I didn’t have washi tape that truly matched and I couldn’t find my pink post it’s but I quite like the mismatch effect).

I thought I would try a different style of flat lay today. These notes are an extension to my summer studying notes on the gender topic of psychology (from my A-level revision guide) 🌿 Supplies: •green zebra mildliner •black pentel touch sign pen •light green and black sarasa clip 0.5 I wanted to do one of those cool flat lays that include things that correspond with the colour of the notes but this was the only green thing I could find!😂

12/08/17- pink floral inspired psychology notes 🌸 I felt super inspired to include some flowers into these pink notes so I had a looksy on tumblr and found these wonderful notes by @smoketexture so i decided to include their flower design in mine (i did ask but unfortunately i did not get a response so i hope that it is okay😅). I’m really happy with the way the calligraphy lettering turned out. Supplies: blush tombow ABT dual brush pen, muji 0.38 black gel pen and red and grey mildliners.

08/08/17 I was super inspired by @mylifeinabullet’s august theme of clouds that I wanted to incorporate it in some way into my notes. (These are psychology notes btw for anyone wondering and they’re from the cognition and development topic).
