The Caramelatte Story
Alright buckle up, this is the story I tell everyone whenever coffee comes up around me. So I was at a Gloria Jean’s coffee shop real early in the morning, and lemme tell you I don’t usually come here cause I’m not a coffee fan and I don’t wanna pay  money for a tea or hot chocolate I can make at home. So I get there and I’m thinking I just want something simple when I see what I think says ‘caramelate’ on the menu. Now I love caramel so this funky drink is exactly what I need early in the morning when I didn’t sleep well, but when I order a caramelate my pronounciation is corrected (to caramelatte). At this point I realise what I’ve done but I’m socially awkward so there’s no way I’ll bring it up with them. So I get my coffee, and immediately remember why I don’t drink it. Of course I spent money on this drink so I ain’t wasting it. And then to top it all off about four hours afterwards I get so tired I can hardly keep my eyes open, while I was supposed to be hanging out with friends.

I’m a Green Day fan but whenever I tell someone my favourite Green Day song I always say Rome Falls by Panicland. For y’all who don’t know, here’s the song and the story behind it:
youtube
I saw a comment somewhere talking about one of the lyrics (“Kiss me in the ruins of you and I tonight”). They said that it’s the most Green Day line from a not Green Day song. That and Panicland’s stupidly wonderful hoax pretty much some up why I like this song.
