hey guys!! I decided I'm going to dedicate my time to a series instead of an au!! his love for you used to be normal. you two grew up in a large town, yet you guys somehow managed to end up together, and you were both grateful. 

most days you and matt would take care of your younger sister. she is six years old and your parents aren't in the picture anymore because of their murder 6 months ago.

matt and you were friends since childhood, so you never expected matt, your best friend, to be the killer of your family. the only person left in the family was you and your little sister.

matt clearly has a crush on you, and he shows it in his acts of kindness and the little kisses he gives you on your head. you like him back, of course, but you would tease him by being a little touchy. matt was very shy. i mean, he would hide his face in his hands when you teased him, would blush and look away as you giggled at something he said. he would always take the opportunity to hold your hand when it would catch you off guard because he loves the way it makes you blush, it reassures him of your love.

he loved you. so much so that he killed almost your entire family so that you were stuck loving him. he stayed with you as you cried and grieved over the loss of your family. he knew even though your family wasn’t always there for you, you still loved them. which he never really understood, but maybe it was because he wanted you to only love him.

now, you and matt are at your house, taking care of your sister

matt comes back a couple minutes later. “thank you matt, she looked exhausted.” you say patting the open spot next to you. “of course y/n.” matt sits down and grabs your waist pulling you closer to him, eventually your bodies are facing each other lying down on the sofa. “you know, I really like you y/n.” matt says grabbing your chin turning it towards him. “I like you too matt.” you say back. “I'll always protect you y/n.” “i know” you say back smiling nuzzling your head into matts shoulder.

as you slowly daze off you feel matts phone buzz, and him slightly jumping answering the call quietly. “hey chris… mhm. I'm staying the night.” there is a long pause with a lot of matt sighing. “chris, she can't ever know. i- i know chris, tell nick to keep him mouth closed too.” you try to hear the faded conversation but matt slowly walks away, pacing in your kitchen. “okay bye.” he says coming back into the living room, lifting you easily. “shhh I'm just bringing you to your room.” he says quietly. matt places you softly on your bed, climbing to the other side snuggling back up to you. “goodnight my love.” matt says kissing the crown of your head.

you hear matt strutting out of your room, slowly pulling his oversized sweatpants back up off of his hips. matt has a tendency of wearing humongous pants which you think is adorable because whenever he pulls them up he always smirks at you. “matt!” eden says running towards him. he bends over letting her run into his arms. “why good morning princess.” he says looking at her in his arms. you gasp at matt not recognizing you immediately which is a routine because of eden immediately running towards him. “oh, you too!” matt says pattering towards you. he gives you a kiss on the forehead while eden says “ewww.” when in reality she's giggling. “i made breakfast, eggs and bacon.” you say nodding towards the kitchen. “did i really sleep in that late or did you just wake up super early.” matt says turning his head to you walking towards the kitchen. “I woke up at 7, and it's currently 8:30 so, I guess we are both guilty of that count.” you say. 

you sit on the couch barely recalling last night except for one sentence “chris, she can't ever know” replays in your head until he does something to distract you. “hey, so I planned something with chris and nick but I can't wait until tomorrow.” he says stuffing his mouth with eggs. “oh really?” you say looking over at matt getting his hair tugged by eden standing in the chair behind matt. “yes, but we have to leave in…. 2 hours.” he says looking at the stove clock. “oh, that gives us some time!” you say giving matt a thankful smile.

 “maaaaaaatt” eden says dramatically as he shakes his head fixing his hair. “whaaat” he says back sarcastically. “I have a secret to tell you matt!” eden says looking back at you. “eden what are you telling matt!” you say getting back on your feet striding to them. “oh she does…” Matt says grabbing your waist bringing you closer to him. eden giggles quietly covering her mouth. “what did she tell you!” you say looking back and forth between the two mischievous people in front of you. “oh nothing!” matt says giving you a wink. you put your hands on your hips and put one foot out pouting. “i told matt what you told me on wednesdayyyy.” eden says grabbing his hair again. “what did I- ohhhhh” you says grabbing matts chin seeing him blush from the sudden touch. “your beard is soooo cute matt.” you say smirking. “why thank you beautiful.” matt says making eye contact. “that wasn't it was it.” you say looking between them again. “nope!” eden giggles grabbing matts hair again. “omg! what was it then!” you say smiling. “remember when we were talking on the couch and you said that you wanted matt to be your boyfrienddd.” eden says smirking. your mouth drops as you see matt smirking. “maybe- maybe I did say that.” you say trying to be confident. “maybe we can change the outcome of that later today on our big date.” matt says nudging eden. she giggles as matt signals you to go get ready for your big date today with the triplets and eden. “okay okay, I'll go get ready.” you say kissing matts cheek.
