I'm still amazed that Alvinnn!!! ended with an actual ending and not just some random episode
I'm not saying the tour was a great ep but considering how the show didn't had a storyline and neither a lot of care about details, it's a surprise that it still gives an actual end of the show with the chipmunks leaving the city + all the characters of the series saying goodbye.
#idk if the next movie/show/whatever comes next will follow this but if it doesn't i wouldn't mind#i just think it's a good ending!! i was really hoping for alvinnn to end in the most generic episode but it didn't and that's enough for me#ofc there's a LOT of stuff i didn't like but there was a few that i did enjoy#now the big question is... what would be next?? movie?? another tv series?? will pass years before hearing of them again??#tbh i think the franchise needs a break but at the same time i think aatc needs something actually good to deserve said break#i have heard rumors of another movie but that's it. rumors. who knows what will happens next??#the only thing i hope is not a 5 movie of the 2007 chipmunks!! their story is over and they DON'T need more spotlight.#i'm not even expecting a 2D movie anymore it's obvious that if the movie thing is true it would be on CGI#in a desesperate try to get the popularity the 2007 movies had but idk if it would work#idk what will happen but it would be a mess no matter what#BUT I DON'T WANT TO END MY NONSENSE BEING SUPER NEGATIVE AUCJEIFN#so going back to the point!! Alvinnn had a decent ending idc what others have to said#could it be better? yeah but that goes for the show as a whole lmao#im actually happy the show ended in season 5. 6/7 seasons would've been too much#now my last thing would be rewatching the show and trying to tell which season was the best one.#i could go for season 1 bc i think it has less weird shit (alvinnn had some plots that were CLEARLY fetish stuff) but maybe i'm wrong#aatc#alvinnn and the chipmunks

I know ppl couldn't care less about the humans in the cgi movies but Zoe and Dr. Rubin were both hilarious characters and the more i rewatch the movies the more i think about that.
#we all know Ian was the best human character simply bc David cross was great on it but i think these two are pretty funny!!#the idea of an adult woman hyping the chipmunks is so adorable and a great way to explain why Alvin nevergot expelled lmao#and zoe was simply hilarious! maybe because i find her out-of-reality personality too appealing#it's such a shame the writers of the cgi movies couldn't write Dave better bc while i don't hate him like other ppl#i do think he is one of the least interesting human characters in all the movies#i don't think it's the actor's fault they just didn't know what to do with his character besides being a strict dad for the chipmunks#but funny enough i do think dave from the cgi series is even more boring despite there are episodes focused on him#i love when he is all affectionate with his sons and the chipettes but he is so bland without that and sometimes way too strict#i still can't believe there is an episode focused on the chipmunks getting scared of Dave knowing they spilled milk#it just shows how many times he has get angry for the most simply things#it doesn't help AT ALL that the show has barely likeable human characters i mean i adore miss smith but i do get why ppl don't like her#miss croner is an amazing contrast to miss miller! but i do think they write her way too aggressive at times#officer dangus is the only character besides miss miller that i find decent without giving a 'but' in the middle#the classmates of the chipmunks.... Yeah we don't talk about them#i would like to go further with the humans characters of the 80's show but i still need to watch a LOT of episodes#but i would say that most of the episodic human characters of the 80's have been pretty nice so far#i loved the old lady that got a date with Alvin!! she was way too sweet with him and i love the way alvin learn his lesson at the end#also it has the best dave so far!! he is a lovely dad and he can be funny on his own way. i can tell he is just doing his best ahaha#aatc#alvin and the chipmunks

I think we should talk more about how CGI Brittany has the career 80's Brittany always wanted.
#80's brittany wanted so badly to be popular singer!! a star!! but Alvin was the one with the most fans and you can see it even more in TCA#while in the CGI's movies the storyline ends with Brittany and her sister becoming way more popular than them#they even leave the house because their career were going that good#side note i wish people bring this more often bc it's so tiring to see ppl say they're all siblings in the CGI universe#Alvin clearly said that they were taking them to their house bc they still needed a place to stay#and at the end of the last movie Dave only adopts the guys! Neither him or the chipettes wanted to stay as family#but don't get me wrong he still loves them and they love him just not in the way or viewing as a father#BUT ANYWAYS GOING BACK TO THE POINT#we should talk a lot more about this#it's a shame that the 2015 series N E V E R tells you how exactly popular the chipmunks are or if the chipettes are famous as well#they give you one or two random flashbacks of them singing together but at the same time there are episodes were it's just the three of them#idk it's smth that bothers me a lot bc smth that the rest of the versions did was being clear about how they handled their lives as singers#the cgi movies gave you a whole development of the Chipmunks going from being on the forest to become starts#and then they decided go give a break to spend their lives better with Dave while the Chipetted handled their own lifes#and hell the 80's chipmunks went as far as showing you each future of each chipmunk#they even tell you that both Si and Theo chased other dreams that have nothing to do with music and i give extra points for that!#why am i speaking so god damn much about this??? my god the aatc passion is real
