you don’t need to be here everyday. you don’t have to apologize for not being here for a reason. you don’t need to stress if you haven’t been able to write for a bit or be as active as you want to be 

your writing mojo will return

there are people out there that you haven’t met yet that are going to make you fall back in love with this hobby and these worlds and characters and i know sticking around for them is hard but they’re there. i promise. 

your blog is AT THE VERY MINIMUM 10x more loved and appreciated than you think. think about it logically: you love a lot of blogs that you don’t approach for one reason or another, there are probably people out there who feel the same way about you and your blog but haven’t approached because they’re shy

despite what it may seem like, the version of people you see on this site is only a fraction of who they are outside of it, be kind. and if you can’t find it in you to be kind then just carry on with your day and ignore them

the label of “quality” means literally nothing. quality is just A Quality that you like about a blog or a portrayal, it’s something different to anyone. one person being quality does not make someone else not quality. you’re all quality. you’re all the koala tea. 

i know it’s hard, but try not to be super intimidated by people. there are some people you’ll have bad experiences with, but for the most part 95% of people on here are really nice and they’re literally just like you, sitting at their computer, shitposting about their favorite characters 

it is always going to be hard to gain traction on a new blog or a new muse, especially if that muse is lesser known, an original character, or a multi — it’s not going to happen immediately. it does kinda take work. but you’re going to find people. so if it’s worth it to you to stick with it, then it’s worth it to stick with it. 

that being said, you never have to stick around if you’re done with a muse or a fandom or this website in general. that’s okay. people might be sad but the majority will be excited and supportive, whatever you go forward and do. 

reach out to people! you have literally nothing to lose. like literally nothing. we are all specks of dust in the cosmos and this is a website that lost yahoo over 200 million dollars. the worst thing that is going to happen when you reach out to someone for plotting / to do something is that they won’t match your energy and yeah, that sucks, but most of the time people will match your energy and you will make a new friend and writing partner and it will be great 

just have fun. there’s so much bullshit to get caught up in and it detracts from the fact that the whole purpose of this hobby is to metaphorically dress up as our favorite characters and play pretend with one another. so, focus on that. enjoy that. 

you’re really loved. whether you believe me or not, that’s okay. i know the truth. and the truth is that you’re really a whole hell of a lot more loved than you’re even aware of
