Using my oldish designs for them ^ I usually don't do references for characters that aren't mine (honestly sometimes I usually don't even do for MY OWN characters so.)

And then I did one for them all. My dearests.

I have designs for TCO, TDL and Victim but I honestly need to re-do them so. For now that's all!!!

Also I haven't really seen much on the fandom side of AVM/AVA so no idea how you guys view things, I've only recently gotten friends that like the thing so fairly new to this area :p

Dark and Chosen being diamonds is honestly cool as hell, but I also don't see them acting very Royal, but honestly, I'm just hyped to see their design and how they act!!

It's not like the diamonds wanted to act all that royal either! They try their best.

Me: Every single one of Zishu's designs are bangers to me, but my personal favorites have to be Yellow and Gold! I also really like Freedom Guy's design (though he technically isn't a gem). Characterization wise, Labby is really fun to me.

Has Green tried to serve the others too?, and it was just them having to tell him no in the most gental way, and he kinda learns, but he still especially with Second not often but you can see it when it happens.

This is all an ask promise I just type too much at times.

zishu: i don’t think he has a lot, since pearls wouldn’t serve anyone other than their “master” anyways. but like. it bleeds through a little at times when he particularly fucks up. more often so in front of yellow, technically his “superior”. some sapphires have pearls. sometimes when green accidentally messes up yellow’s code he panics but yellow quickly shuts it down

Long story short—not quite. Green likes to do things for others to make them happy, but it has to be something really bad in his eyes before he offers himself up for his role.

Purple and his situation was unique. Purple had been forced to serve Green for so long, Green thought the only way to make up for it was... To do the same.

Purple falls, of course. Falters at the wrong moment, hesitates and hits the ground. It's impossible not to, for them. They've always been useless, like that. Weak.

Fragile.

"Finally," Royal Blue breathes, standing over them. She's one of the most perfectly made jaspers Earth has ever had to offer. Purple never had a chance.

They weren't meant to be a solider, weren't built to be one. But after so long as a cloak, being used by someone who was meant to be a servant and yet fought harder and more skillfully than any quartz back on Homeworld--the excuse meant less than nothing. Purple was simply weaker than most.

Purple falls, and for one second, Royal Blue's attention shifts. She looks up, around them, through the eyes of their fusion. They aren't quite two people right now, but Purple still feels separate enough to know it is her who shifts their eyes and starts to get up from their curled position on the bottom of the ocean.

"N--no."

She turns back. And it has been so long since someone has listened when Purple spoke. When they had a voice to speak with at all, that--

Purple is selfish. But it feels good. It feels really freaking good to have someone looking at them, staring at them, only them. Good enough to get up, on shaking legs, and pull themself into a position to fight again.

After all, it was impossible not to look at your opponent, when fighting them. It wasn't a selfless reason to fight. Purple was not protecting anybody, at least it isn't on their mind when they roll to their feet and put their hands up, curled into fists. Second, the gems, Earth, all of it a distant worry. This is about Purple and Royal Blue.

"No?" Royal Blue asks, more surprised than anything. That feels good too. Reaction.

Royal Blue grins. It is a dangerous thing. A feral thing. One that speaks to harm, as their fusion drops again into that curl, as Royal Blue takes up her stance once more.

Because here's the thing: Royal Blue never claimed to be selfless, either. And it has been a long time since she's had a fight she could win with ease with an opponent who won't go down. With an opponent who refused to go down. Purple knows this. Purple knows gems like her.

(Purple knew of a gem like her, lifetimes ago. One who would never, ever go down. One who took such a joy, at teaching Purple how to get back up.

One who had a similar, terrifyingly excited expression, as they picked themself up off their knees.)

Royal Blue nods, putting her hands up. Purple follows it. Common spar ettiquite, for gems. For humans, too, Purple thinks. An agreement before the fight begins. An understanding.

Then her eyes are wholly on them.

...is Navy gonna be Jasper??, i don't know if you already got who is Jasper but that's all I can think of when I think of who hurt purple most.

ty: Cloakple felt stifled. and horrible. no matter how kind the hand, nor how intetionally cruel (and trust me. there were some who were intentionally cruel)
