Anzu in her second year referred to everyone by first name quite flatly ( unless they were older than her or seemed stricter/less close to her ) because she was used to that in her old school where everyone is also a girl, so she was simply more aware of that but now in ES, she refers to everyone as their last name with the san honorific to it to be more formal.

Unless they're not working in which case she'll go back to normal.

Ah, he threw away his can. "Not good with caffeine?" She asks, almost unaware of the horror she inflicted upon him.

"Good morning, Producer-san..."

He quietly throws out his nearly full can of coffee. All of a sudden he does not feel like having caffeine today.

"I'm not going to tease too much," Plus, she does that with or without anyone watching anyway. "I just wanted to get my work done since I've taken extra."

"Nice to see you guys though! You doing good?"

"The troublemaker bestie is back.. An', don't tease the younger ones too much or they won't trust you anymore."

"That's normal."

"Oh, is that so?"

She begins pouring more in.

"Keito's family's renowned for their funeral practice, Anzu-chan. Something to keep in mind, perhaps."

"...What?" She feels like he's judging, but Keito would have done similar too, she thinks.

"..." Casually feel like he's getting a heart attack simply watching her...

"Hiiii Takamine-san!" She's pretending that never happened.

She pours in a bunch of small cans and tubs of powder energy drinks into her espresso, then a quick shot of another espresso, mixes them with her spoon and then, she chugs it, immediately.

She grins. Her smile full of cheer as she declares her statement. "Just fuck me up- whatever will hit the hardest."

"A coffee would be fine~"

" The average coffees for you all or some of your questionable mixes ? "

Oh, he's embarrassed! A rare flustered Ibara unlocked! Still, she refrains from commenting on it...for now. "Of course," She nods her agreement to not make a big deal out of it, as she figures if she pushes too much he'll get a bit curt from his flustered state.

Upon hearing his words, though, the producer, realizes- oh shit, that's super presumptuous of her and really quite rude! She's not anywhere as close to Ibara as she is Subaru, or any of Trickstar really, and she knows grouping them together like that could likely offend him some. Still, she can only offer him a genuine smile as she tries to explain herself a little more, not wishing to offend during this. She wants Ibara to know she respects him and likes him, after all- not that she thinks they're besties.

"Well, admittedly, not nearly as close as me and Subaru," She muses. "But I think you are a good peer and I had hoped that pranking you like that could lead to us getting more acquainted, as I do respect you and your work drive and trust you in a sense. Due to me thinking like that, I figured I should show you a way of acceptance so you know that...if that makes sense?" She doesn't often speak at length to Ibara, but explaining her thoughts is a bit difficult when she normally is understood in what she wants to say, but she doesn't think doing that in this case is a good idea.

"D-don't make too much out of it, alright? It's not a big deal!" Now who's backtracking because of embarrassment, hmmmm

He coughed, turning his head away to hide the beginning of a blush. This stupid girl!

It was a bit touching, and highly confusing, yes, that she thought them close enough for some playful pranks, but Ibara couldn't wrap his head around such things, unless it was for work, like those infernal variety shows and the like. He almost felt like he was... Lacking. It was annoying.

"You mean to say you think I'm as good a peer to you as Akehoshi-san?" He didn't have to sound that bewildered, right? Honestly now.

"Yes, I'll keep that in mind, Saegusa-san," Normally, if playing a prank, she does it to people like Subaru who wouldn't be effected by it too much- but she figured branching out a little could be fun and that Ibara likely wouldn't have expected it, he does have a point though. If Ibara isn't good with surprises, she'll be sure not to do it again... "Of course, I wouldn't have let you be confused about the Miku thing- I didn't actually intend for this after all and I will take steps to not surprise you again." She hums. "I figured that you'd probably be able to laugh something like that off, or be unaffected by it and it would be a fun way to show that I uh, well, I think of you as a good peer? I mean, I do it to people like Subaru, so I figured it might be good for that?" She also didn't think about it too much when doing it, clearly.

He had managed to collect himself and he shot Anzu a crooked little grin as he crossed his arms, nodding slowly. "It's possible, yes. Either way, I'm highly grateful that you came clean, and might I remind you that even harmless pranks can be harmful if you don't know the person you prank's ability to deal with unexpected things happening to them? In my experience, surprises are hardly ever a good thing."

He did realize his experience was different from most, and he relented. "But yes, I understand. Why prank me of all people, though?" Rude much!

"They do kinda look like him," She notes. "I think he might like Vocaloid more than I do, so he'd probably be able to tell you those one's names, but I also don't think you'd be too into Vocaloid." She nods at Ibara assuming he'd be far too busy to take an interest in Vocaloid, placing her hands in her pockets.

"I was going to pull one of those pranks on you where I let out an audio to give you a jump- not as like, something to like, upset you- just to give you a surprise," It was light hearted, but it was also super loud so maybe she should have picked another prank. "It was a guy yelling her name- so I uh, guess that came to this. I'm sorry."

He almost visibly relaxed when she released him, and he hurriedly adjusted his suit, straightening out the lapels, if only to have something to occupy his hands with. "The blonds remind me of Harukawa. They're easier to remember. But... Alright. Got it."

"She's teal," She immediately releases her grip upon being told not to touch, a statement she'd easily keep in mind. She doesn't want to make him feel gross and touches can easily do that to some people. "Pigtails. The only one anyone really knows."

She slams her hands on Ibara's shoulders ( gently. ) "You love Hatsune Miku now, please."

Glare.

"I hardly know how to tell one Vocaloid from the other..."

"Alsodon'ttouchme."

"...I have learned my lesson." Not about not pranking Ibara, just about doing it better next time.

Oh shit, oh fuck, Midori is decidedly not Ibara; she's fucked herself royally with this one. She wanted to play a prank on Ibara but it seems he expected it by asking Midori to come here instead. She awkwardly fumbles, trying to remove the speaker and silence it. She then looks up at him, faux innocence in waves in voice and face, despite the evidence in hand.

"...Hi. Crazy that, huh? Never knew Saegusa-san liked Hatsune Miku!"

( Ah... those must be the papers Senpai told me to pick up for him before coming back to our dorm room... )
