“That is a pity, I had hoped you would see the advantages of mutual cooperation with my nation which would be of real benefit to progressive mankind”
Young-hee would be disappointed with this news but she doubts there would be anything really new they could gain from it, it was the other woman’s loss if anything.
“I will inform her of your decision, though I do hope that there will be areas in which we can work together on”.
“You’re kidding. What nation are you talking about? Did you forget there was an apocalypse several centuries ago. Even a person with amnesia would know there’s no nation left standing.”
Lucille didn’t care much about her so called ‘mutual cooperation’. For all she knows, she and her sister would have stolen her research right at that moment and stick a knife behind her back for good measure. No thanks.
“Don’t get your hopes up. I doubt we’ll cooperate on anything.”
"How is your research progressing?"
“I understand you want to have a conversation with me, but I don’t trust you enough to talk about my research.”

“I see.” That doesn’t sound suspicious. Not at all. “Even if your sister were to be present here instead of you, I would have given her the same response that I gave you right now.”

“There’s people that aren’t so sensitive to tickling. They’ll just stare at me and I eventually stop trying to tickle them. Of course, I’ve met those that try their best to hide the fact that they’re ticklish, but end up failing in the process.” The succubus explained as she continued tickling the basilisk.
Armenia squirms, “Mistress Lucille!! Stop that! It tickles!!”
The succubus chuckles. “It’s because I am tickling you.” She later smiled. “I didn’t think you were this ticklish till now. ”

Nena almost looked puzzled at the reaction, she had expected some sort of retaliation from the news, some fight or betrayal from it. Yet their was none. It was a rare reaction, but a pleasing one.
She soon smiled, no longer protesting against the help and allowed Lucy to look her over, remove glass, and whatever else she may need to do.
“…..thank you Lucy..”
“You’re welcome.”
It would have been nice to have discovered this fact under better circumstances. She is curious as to why one of her hands lacked skin. From what she saw, it was as if the skin melted off.
She continued to remove the shards of glass before she move onto treating the rest of her injuries. Lucille was going to try her best here since she doesn’t know if synth’s could heal themselves the same way the human body does.
“You’re going to be fine.”

Nena had been pretty banged up. Head injury, shot up on her side along with burns and shards of glass.
She shook her head carefully, pulling away from the doctor’s examination of her injuries. “ I’m not…” she pulls off the thick working gloves she always wore and pushed up the jumpsuits sleeves to reveal the metal work underneath, the skin stopping at a point melted and old burns onto the metal. One arm had the damage continue to climb while the other stopped near the elbow, the mechanical arms making it very clear to what Nena truly was. “human…”
Lucille looked even more puzzled when she pulled away from her as she was ascertaining her injuries.
Soon enough, the scientist got a clear understanding of what she meant. She saw her remove her thick glove rolled up her sleeve to reveal an intricate work of circuitry and metal that makes up her arm. It’s true, she wasn’t a human but the fabled synth and she was right in front of her injured. “It doesn’t matter. You’re hurt and you need my help.” She went back to looking at her wounds and started to tackle the problem one at time, staring with removing the shards of glass.

As Nena is placed gently down on the bed she shakes her head. “ no-…it’s important….” she takes a deep breath in. “ Lucy I’m….not human…” finally the words come out, less graceful that she had imagined but at least out.
Lucille looked puzzled and confused as she was looking into her injuries. She was having a hard time trying to process what she said. Of course, she has been going in and out of consciousness ever since slumped on top of her. “Why do you said? You’re not making any sense right now.”

Being lifted and carried woke her from her small daze she had been in, a small groan of pain escaping from the move. Holding onto her side once again. “Lucy…” she tries again. “ th-…..there is something I need to tell you first.” Her mind was going again telling her to sleep…power down. “I’m a s-…” he voice going quiet on the last word.
She slowly carried her over to her bedroom as she was trying her best to tell her something. “Save it for later. All I need to hear from is what happened. Where are you hurt?” The scientist gently placed her on the bed before she went off to get her medical supplies to treat her as well. “Tell me where you’re hurt. You’re in good hands now.”

“Lots…” she gave Lucy a weak smile. A bit of an understatement. shot, burned, thrown. explosions. The wasteland sure kept you on your toes. “ I…I could use some assistance..” she shook her head, “ but-…but..” she trails off in a mumble sliding from the door frame and onto Lucy herself unable to keep herself up right anymore. She hits her with a groan of pain.
The scientist was sadden to see Nena in such a state in front of her house. The wasteland can be unforgiving and it often brought the worse in people. Who knows what she got herself into, but at least she was safe with her. “Don’t worry. You’re here now with me.” She reassures her and soon enough, she would stumble onto her, unable to keep herself upright. “Easy, easy.” She slowly put her in her arms and carried her inside, closing the door with her back.

Lucille was making something for herself in the kitchen while she listened to classical music on the radio. She worked in her laboratory underneath her home for hours till she decided to give herself a much needed break and she was already starting to get hungry.
As she was cooking, she would hear a knock, or rather, a bang on the door. She lowered the volume on the radio to hear it better and when she heard it again, the scientist dropped what she was doing and rushed over to the door.
In the wasteland, one can never be too careful. Lucille had a tight grip on the butt of her revolver, but when she heard the voice of her friend, her gripped loosed and she opens the door. “Hey..... What the heck happened to you?”

Nena had been stumbling the small trip over to the home that belongs to a good friend’s home. She really had nowhere else to turn to this far out. Being far to badly damaged to try and truck it back to a safe house or completely trusted hands to fix her up.
Lucy was the only one for miles that had the skills to help Nena now, she could only hope the small bond of friendship they had developed would be enough, she has no way to tell how they might react once they realize she is a synth.
Nena makes her way onto the porch of the intact home and leans against the the side of the doorframe. using her undamaged hand to bang on the door. “ L-Lucy?!” she calls having to pause to catch her thoughts.

“I won’t turn anyone.”  She muttered.  “I can feed and choose to not turn anyone easily enough.  I’m loathe to turn anyone.”  She muttered, she wasn’t going to fight the draining someone of all their blood part.  She knew that was quite likely.  “I-if we can find a bloodbank…  It’d be enough to give me until the next dawn.  I can find (or make) a feeding victim.”
“Are you sure. Frankly, my knowledge in vampires is a bit lacking. It’s been such a long time that I’ve met another vampire such as  yourself.” She cups her chin while she was wondering if there was a blood bank close to where they are. “I think there’s one close by, but it’s a small one. I’m guessing you don’t care much about that. Can you still walk?”
“You are so clumsy.” (Margaret)
Margaret huffed.  “W-well with so many people staring what do you think!”  She was pale, paler than normal.  “I-I I need to j-just focus and n-nothing will be wrong!”  She was stammering unusually much.  So it was a hiccup.

“F-f-fine!” She let out. When she spoke her fangs were out. She licked her lips. “F-fine. I’m fine.” She said before tripping and falling. “I’m not fine.” She said finally. “Feed. I need to feed. I’ve been… trying to avoid it. But I think I tried to hard. I need a body, now.”
The witch stopped in her tracks and looked displeasingly towards Margaret with her arms folded just after she tripped and fallen. How can she lie to her like this. She later started to help her off the ground. “I don’t know where we can find a body where we are. Plus, I don’t want to harm anyone and possibly turn them into a vampire or worse, drain them of blood entirely.”

“I-I’m f-fine!”  She huffed.  She was shaking.  She was far from fine.  Pale, shaky, sweaty, short of breath.  Only the pale was normal for her.  Something was up.
The witch shook her head. Her looks deceives her. There’s no way she could convince her that she was doing okay. “Margaret, you’re shaking. You look unwell. Please be honest with me. I want to help you.”
“You are so clumsy.” (Margaret)

Margaret panted.  Odd for a creature without the ability to breathe.  “S-sure wh-whatever.”  She muttered.  “J-just lead the way.  I-I’m fine.”  She wasn’t.  Not at all.
Lucille decided to take Margaret to her home in the forest. She’ll be fine there. “At least sound a little more convincing when you’re lying.” The witch teases her a bit.

The witch chuckle a bit, looking over to the vampire. “Relax! Calm down and take a breather. They’ll eventually get bored and look the other way, but if you keep doing things like this, they’ll keep looking.” She later pauses. “Could we do this somewhere else that’s a little more private?”
