I reblog thia because i like the fsct that there are movies like these out there.

My Fave FTM and LGBT+ Movies
Cowboys (2020). A beautiful film about a trans boy and his father. The trans boy is played by a trans actor. The trailer is here.
Shinjuku Boys (1995). A documentary about Japanese trans men and transmasculine people. You can watch it for free here.
Man Made (2018). A documentary about trans male bodybuilders. Also discusses the struggles of transitioning, the intersection of racism and transphobia against black trans men, and mental illness. You can watch the trailer here.
Southern Comfort (2001). A documentary about Robert Eads, a trans man who died of ovarian cancer after encountering transphobic doctors. You can watch it for free here.
3 Generations (2015). An imperfect film about a young trans guy, unfortunately played by a cis actress... Nonetheless, I relate to it a lot. You can likely watch it on Netflix, depending on your area.
The Sum of Us (1994). A gorgeous Australian film about a gay guy, his straight father, and his lesbian grandmother. The son is played by Russell Crowe. You can watch it for free here, and buy it at a higher quality elsewhere.
Romeos (2011). A film about a trans man, realising he's gay whilst living stealth. The protagonist is played by a cis man, and there are many confronting/problematic scenes, but nonetheless, it's one of my fave FTM movies. You can watch the trailer here.
From Daddy’s Tummy (2015). A documentary about an Australian trans man who delayed his transition to carry a child. You can watch it for free here.
My Friend From Faro / Mein Freund aus Faro (2008). A film about a butch lesbian who lives as a man, while trying to sort out her orientation/identity. You can watch the trailer here.
Tomboy (2011). A film about a young person who chooses a male name, and goes by he/him pronouns, in a new town. The director deliberately avoided labels, so you can read the protagonist as a butch lesbian and/or a trans person. You can watch the trailer here.
Disclaimer: Investigate films before watching.

honestly I wish people would give like explicit inclusion/anti exclusion posts the same energy they give bland positivity posts. Terf/other exclusionists wouldn't feel so confident and so easily spread their rhetoric if people spoke out against it, or at least supported people who did. boiling down people fighting for their right to exist within their own community as "discourse" and ignoring it is a big part of the problem tbh

This one is the sweetest thing i saw today.

Fungus-Furred Flounder Ferret
Living in humid and dense woodlands, the fungus-furred flounder ferret spends most of its day pressed flat against the forest floor or overgrown trees. While doing so, the little mammal is nearly impossible to spot among the vegetation and lies in ambush to feed on insects, frogs or smaller-sized lizards. The most peculiar feature of this cunning creature is its symbiotic relationship with a likewise wondrous type of lichen densely growing in its fur: the Pluvia Licheri – an ingredient highly praised by thieves and sinister alchemists.

This creature was made in collaboration with Quenn makes Art & Arcanum Dice.
