I love them as a platonic frienship, kinda foun siblings type shit. I think so many dont pay atention to the interaction they had (few interaction, i dont blame you) but after all of the aren introduction stuff, Aren being the most protective over her, but also the most respectful just hits a soft point in me, just as much as them having the same attitud over situations as we see in the island episode. They had a good dinamyc.

one of my favourite things about saiki is how hes just chanting to himself 'i dont care i dont care i dont care i dont care i dont care i dont care everybody except for me and mine can get fucked' and meanwhile he's like scooping baby ducklings out of a storm grate to reunite them with their mama with his hands and LIGHTNING KICKing nendo out of the way of oncoming traffic with his foot and retrieving random childrens balloons from trees with his telekinesis and inspiring passersby to do the best with their lives that they can. he has the entire weight of the world perched on his head. in his opinion. but he doesnt care about it. not at all. prommy. honest. HONEST.
