Common Types
There are two types of gum Arabic:

· Acacia Seyal – also called Talha, considered second-grade gum.
The FDA has approved acacia as a good additive in foods and drugs. That means it is safer to use in various products like breakfast cereals, baked cookies, snack bars, and more.
