Day 4 for @xzeroweek ~ Nightmare

(I'll be honest I've been way busy this time around with conventions but plan to finish the prompts on my own time. ^^; If you want to see the follow-up for this comic, I'll post that eventually!)

That said, i want to add that I’ve thought about this before in retrospect. If you put Day of Sigma to account, this isn’t the first time Zero saw X getting beat up really badly. That moment when he woke up and saw X with a hole in his body and emptiness in his eyes. The horror, the panic, the plethora of emotions that Zero never knew he could feel… i never want to feel it again. He’d rather DIE than watch X get that beat up again. It’s war flash back. It’s disregarding self preservation. He’s breaking himself in the process of breaking the cage but it doesn’t matter. Zero doesn’t care if he lives or dies, but X MUST LIVE. And Vile MUST DIE.

I think reploid muscles are stronger than they usually are allowed to express, it is to prevent self damage. Have you heard that human muscles also are stronger than we think? It’s so strong it can break our own bone. But we aren’t allowed to do this voluntarily. Our body stops us. I think Reploids have the same system to prevent self destruction.

Imagine Zero’s joints started to break in all the wrong ways while he’s breaking the cage because he’s exerting so much power that his joints just go beyond its normal range.

Yeah

i still wanna know how the hell he managed to break out of there so easily with no prior attempts of escaping or anything. it's like he chose to be in there until he just felt like the time was right

I'm glad I was able to bring out another year, despite my incompetence to remind people at least here this event's still going

So, don't worry, those are going to be implemented next year once prompts are in place!!
