i think keefe is so funny like not his personality but just as a concept. like what do u mean his superpower is just reading the room?? and yet he still manages to say the most inappropriate thing at any given moment?? what do u mean he tried to stab his mom and MISSED?😭😭 he told (who he thought was) his dad that he should try spelunking and if they get lucky maybe he’ll be eaten?? wdym his pants FELL OFF?? and he was wearing banshee boxers??? he accidentally threw sand directly into his teachers face?? he has 18 pages front and back worth of detention records?? he was literally bleeding out on the floor and all he did was ask if sophie wanted to see his abs?? what is wrong with this man??

While this really doesn't matter, I disagree with the idea that any dead character "haunts" KotLC's narrative. I think that KotLC's narrative is haunted far more by its living characters than its dead ones. In a story where most characters should have died long ago, is it most haunting that these few have died—or that everyone else has lived?
