It’s time I start looking for a new apartment. My girlfriend and I have really enjoyed our little one bedroom place for the last two years, but we are ready to move on to bigger and better things. I want to propose to her so we can get married and have children, but you can’t have children in a one bedroom apartment.
I don’t want to move out of Wichita, though, just out of this apartment. My family lives here, and I want them to be close so they can continue to be a part of my life as I start a family of my own. I also have a job here that I like, and I’m not ready to give that up for the uncertainty of a new place.
I’m hoping to find low-cost 2 bedroom apartments in Wichita KS that are right for raising a child or maybe children. I want to find a decent, safe neighborhood where my future kid can play in the yard without us having to worry.
Ideally, the apartment will be in a decent school district as well. I don’t want to be looking for new apartments in Wichita KS every few years. I’m hoping to find an apartment where we can settle in for the long term, so we don’t have have to keep moving.
For the same reason, I wouldn’t mind looking at complexes with different sizes of units. That way, if we start off with a two-bedroom place, and end up having more children, we can move to another unit in the same complex. It gives us the option of getting more space, without having to go to the trouble of moving a long way away. My children could keep their school and their friends.
I’d like to find an apartment complex where other families live. That way, my child will have easy access to friends without me having to drive them all over the place. I had close neighborhood friends when I was growing up, and that’s something I’d want for my family in the future.
