Quick update before it ticks over into July! I had intended to be caught up a bit more by the end of june, but i burned my goddamn drawing hand making soup AGAIN OTL.

I said I would get caught up by the start of may, and then I gave myself a second-degree burn whilst making soup ;____; we soldier on, though, and it's all good now! Since I'm late on april's set, anyone who joins this month can pick between the foxes and balloon dogs ^^!

Woke up this morning to a call saying my car needs $2000 of repairs to pass state inspection so hm. I will need to start making money again soon huh! Expect posts about that later but for now, here's my bountiful pho broth from yesterday.

An update on why I've been scarce lately: shortly before Thanksgiving, my dearly beloved and very stupid indoor cat managed to pop our shitty door open and escape. While we DID successfully recapture him, it took over a week of sleepless nights & we are still monitoring him Very closely, which has all taken a lot of time and money (including buying live traps and a fucking trail cam, cryptid pic above) He was outside in 20F weather for a week, eating God only knows what. He had a vet visit and while they said everything looked good, He's been acting strangely these past few days and we're worried he might have picked up a parasite or something. Thank you everyone for bearing with me during this, and keep my stupid boy in your thoughts. I hope to be back to regular posting soon!
