Confession: I've been dragging my feet about finalizing the SugarPuddin.com website bc I was trying to wait for (extra funds to pay for) a product photo shoot. And then today, The Lord gave me some fresh ideas about how to stage my own shoot myself... FOR THE FREE! #WONTHEDOIT!!? 🙌🙌🙌 Later on, I'll post pictures of how I constructed my white backdrop and setup my natural lighting situation (it's hilarious and worth a blog post really) but the bottom line is, SO FAR SO GREAT! All photography is with my iPhone 5S (raw images, no filters, no editing, just the installed camera) and I have had nary a professional baking/cooking/cake decorating/photography class so I'm feeling pretty damn good about myself. Listen, if I don't know nothing else, I know the saying, "Necessity is the mother of invention" is factual!!!!! Saving money is possible if you just get creative and use your head. I started with cupcakes bc I just tried a couple new recipes for vanilla and lemon cupcakes but cobbler and bread pudding will be shot by EOD.
