whatever happens happens, from now on it was her motto. no matter how much time they had, katherine was going to cherish each minute. it seemed to foolish of her now, how she was full of doubt just hours prior, thinking about what she was missing out on. flynn was everything she wanted, it wasn’t getting any better than this. making herself comfortable between his legs katherine enjoyed the warmth of the bath, the ends of her long hair already getting wet. “it’s perfect.” it truly was, she wouldn’t change anything about it. katie didn’t need luxurious bathroom with gigantic bathtub, expensive champagne or fluffy towels made out of egyptian cotton. whatever they had, whatever moment they shared ⎯ it was more than enough. “if you get any cramp i promise to massage the pain away.” she said playing with bubbles as he pouring water at her shoulder and back. it was definitely something she could easily get use to, spending nights with flynn at his apartment, taking care of one another, it’s not like they weren’t doing just that before. “i know it might sound cheesy but… i don’t think i have ever been this happy in my life.”

Reaching for the glasses on the side, Flynn offered one to Katie whilst he sipped at his own glass. Whenever he was with the redhead, Flynn felt an unfamiliar warm feeling in his chest that he hadn’t felt before. It had taken a while to work out what it meant but the male had eventually gotten there. He liked Katherine. He liked her a lot. “I’m pretty happy too. I know it’s all been a little backwards but I wouldn’t change it,” he replied, trailing a finger along her spine. “Not the most conventional relationship but whatever this is I’m excited to see where it goes.” Though, also, a little scared. Scared that Flynn would end up hurting her, scared that he’d ruin everything, scared he’d freak out and run out on her. For now, he was happy.

“I’m sure that’s something that I can work with if the time comes. That’s to say you won’t find some wonderful perfect wife in the next few years, I don’t doubt that. You’re a lovely man, you’re intelligent and funny. And you’re kind of handsome, so there’s also that.” She was definitely downplaying how she really felt about him because there were a million and one other things that she could sing his praises about, but she kept them to herself. Though she had to admit, they knew one another so well and got along in ways that would make them a pretty perfect couple. When he mentioned intimacy, she seemed to falter because that hadn’t even crossed her mind but at the same time, it wasn’t something she would necessarily keep out should he want that. “Well… That’s, um. That’s just something we could discuss if we got to that point.” She wasn’t sure if she could keep up a relationship where they were married for the sake of it only to sleep with other people; her heart probably couldn’t take it. 

There was still a possibility of the pair of them finding someone suitable to settle down with and start a life together. So why was Bradley mentally planning his future around Ellen? “I know there’s a possibility but it’s worth having a back-up plan if we’re left on the shelf,” he countered, with a slight shrug. His thoughts shifted back to the idea of intimacy and how they’d handle that. Feeling confident, Bradley decided to be honest. “Okay, I’m just going to come out with it. You’re attractive. I don’t think I’d find it hard to knock down that wall and I’d do my best to keep you satisfied.” Without the wine, he probably wouldn’t have worded it like that but Bradley hoped that his point was put across regardless.

she inhales sharply as his hands move over her frame. her arms wrap around his waist, and she breathes him in. her hands raise to cup his face as she deepens the kiss. miray shifts so she was pressed up against the wall and she wanted nothing more than to just feel him. the woman pulls away and rests their foreheads together. “i’m sorry for making things difficult. i’m just so tired…” she whispers and swallows thickly. “thank you for loving me even through that. through long hours at the hospital…through everything.” she bites into her lip and wrinkles up her nose. “i have a couple of days off, so i can get some rest and i won’t be a bitch.”

All Theo wanted was for her to be happy. If he was the one making her happy then he’d be clinging onto that until she grew tired of him. Catching his breath, Theo nodded his head a fraction. “Please, don’t apologise,” he reassured her, hushing her concerns. “I love how dedicated you are to your job - I love your passion for it. I think I was just worried that maybe I’d done something? And that was why you were working so much... To stay away.” Pressing a kiss against her nose, Theo pulled back a fraction to look at Miray with a soft smile. “Tell you what, you can finish your shower and I’ll make sure you’ve got something clean and comfortable to get dressed into. I don’t want to keep you from sleep.”

at this point of their agreement, and now whatever they turned it into, katherine knew the placement of every mole on his body, she could easily remember every scar, but didn’t know the story behind them. his naked body was truly a work of art. when he started undressing, her hungry eyes were following his movement closely, smiling at his skin being exposed. “you say this right now, but we will get back to this conversation in a few years.” her eyes found his face. was it too soon, to think about the future? was it possible to survive a few years? was she allowed to think about what would come and how things would go? she felt like it wasn’t a bad thing, katherine didn’t want to scare him away with jumping into the future so she just skipped on that topic and went straight into another thought. when he positioned himself katherine waited a moment and then got in the bat turning the water off. after standing in between his legs she slowly sat down and thankfully she fit there perfectly. with her back facing him she smiled placing her hand on his knee. “oh, this is so nice.”

Flynn’s ears clocked the mention of ‘years’ and he wondered whether that was even possible. Was he capable of making her that happy? Was he able to keep someone interested for that long? Would she be content with only having experienced him? Those concerns weren’t for tonight, however, so Flynn pushed them to one side; it was much better to simply live in the moment and enjoy whatever time he had with Katherine. The sight of her rear slowly lowering into the bath helped the male to break out of his thoughts. Flynn realised he hadn’t admired her ass as much as he’d have liked to so made a mental note to pay more attention to it in the future. He could imagine himself sinking his teeth into it. “Is it warm enough for you?” he asked, scooping some water up in his hand so that he could pour it over her shoulder. Moving her hair to one side, Flynn pressed a gentle kiss against her neck as he started to rinse her skin with the bath water. “I’m pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this is - I thought I’d have gotten cramp in my leg by now.”

Jonah knew that they’d gone past the point of no return by now. If her boyfriend found out, he would surely kick Jonah’s ass. But really, what did he expect? The man who flaunted his girlfriend’s nudes, he shouldn’t be that surprised that one of his friends went after her because of it. The woman was gorgeous, and clearly he didn’t please her as much as he should.

Jonah slid his hand between her legs. He could feel the heat radiating off her before he even touched her. katherine was actually a pretty simple girl, she didn’t expect much, a good heart was enough  flynn definitely had that. she blushed at his comment, was it ever going to change? was she always going to blush at his every compliment? truly, she hoped so. no one has ever showed her this much attention and care, his constant admiration was making her more and more confident, she wasn’t hiding behind the clothes anymore, now not even a full light on wasn’t a challenge. “it’s time to lie you got it just in case i showed up at your door.” she joked stepping away so he could easily walk into the bathroom and place the items he was carrying, with her help obviously. “i am awful, i know. already doing things without asking, but i couldn’t resist.” she pointed at the tub that was slowly filling up, she had in mind the level of the water, knowing two of them had to somehow fit in there. when the glasses were put down she let go of the towel, letting it slip exposing her naked body. “i figured you were tired after what happened earlier so i undressed myself, hope you don’t mind.”

Side stepping her, Flynn laughed at her comment. “Ah, yeah, shit! I definitely bought this just in case,” he grinned, putting down the glasses and bottle on the side by the sink. The sound of running water shifted his attention to the tube slowly filling with bubbles. It had been a while since Flynn had used the tub and he wondered how awkward it might be to fit them both inside of it. But as Katherine dropped her towel, his concerns vanished from his mind and all he wanted was to be in the water with Katie’s soft skin brushing against him. “No, it’s fine! Well done on making bubbles, too,” he commented, looking between the tub and her naked figure. “Trust me, I doubt I’ll ever be tired to the point where I don’t want to take your clothes off. It’s something I enjoy doing.” Tugging off his own t-shirt, Flynn began making a pile of his own clothes as one by one he removed them. “Right, I’ll get it first,” he announced once his boxers had made it to the floor. “And then you just kinda... slip in between?” Stepping over the side of the tub, his toes touched the hot water as Flynn slowly lowered himself in until his chest was half covered and his knees were, indeed, sticking out above the water.

Rolling her eyes playfully at his words, she leaned closer to him, brushing against him lightly. “True… guess I just couldn’t resist.” She smiled, flirty eyes leaving him to watch as her brother entered the kitchen - not even giving either of them a second glance. She almost laughed at the irony of it all, that the two of them were nervous he’d think something was up but he didn’t pay them any mind. That was just like him though, and she felt some relief knowing he could be so oblivious. “Right.. cause then you’d have to explain to him why doing dishes turns you on so much.” Marisol whispered, grinning.

“Oh, washing up is incredibly sexy, don’t you think?” Parker mused, opening a kitchen cupboard to start putting away a few items he’d dried. “The bubbles, the hot water - such a turn on.” He couldn’t help to laugh at the stupidity of the conversation but it was reassuring that the pair could still joke, tease and act normal considering what had just happened. It hadn’t seemed to change anything between the two of them - nothing negative anyway.

so much was ahead of them to discover, it could work perfectly, or end up with the biggest heartbreak. it was okay, she was fine with whatever was coming. their height difference was actually adorable, she felt pretty small next to him, there was something about his body towering over her that made katherine feel things. “okay, so… do you have something to drink? anything, even water is fine. i need a minute or two and then we can discuss getting rid of the clothes, okay?” with a sweet smile she moved away, she needed a moment to herself in the bathroom. then she was all his to enjoy. with another wink she disappeared. for the next two minutes she managed to pee, make sure she isn’t looking like a troll, and turned on the water to fill out the tub. after using completely random combination of shower gel and shampoo katherine watched bubbles form. a few more minutes were spent behind the closed door before she lost all of her clothes. pushing the door open completely naked katherine wrapped in one of the towels appeared. “i need volunteer to wash my back.”

“I have bottles of water... I’m pretty sure there’s a bottle of champagne - or maybe it’s prosecco - in the fridge from a work thing,” Flynn stated, knowing full well he’d put it in there and completely forgot about it until now. As Katherine peeled away from him and disappeared into the bathroom, the male headed to the fridge and, sure enough, there was a bottle of bubbles unopened in the door. He didn’t have champagne flutes so grabbed two small wine glasses from the cupboard before popping open the bottle and pouring the pair a glass each. “Wine cooler, wine cooler,” he mumbled, checking the cupboards for something to shove the bottle into to keep its chill. Finding a container, he shoved the bottle inside and turned to see Katie reappear having found a bath towel. “Oh,” he let out, his eyes looking over her as a smirk tugged at him lips. “I volunteer. I volunteer to wash anything.” Grabbing the glasses, he managed to carry them to Katie along with the wine cooler tucked under one arm. “How do you make a towel look sexy?”

“you silly little goose.” katherine said shaking her head, she looked around as he showed her around his flat. it was so exciting to stand there, be there, not just as his friend, but possibly more. “i love it.” there was no lie in that statement, maybe it wasn’t much, but it was more than enough. it was great to be around the guy who could afford his own place, work hard, be responsible. before approaching him she put her bag on the couch and then moved to show him her affection. a wide smile on her lips as she looked up at the man she was madly in love with. it wasn’t time to make such a statement out loud, she needed time to actually understand her own feelings. “so… about the undressing part…” her hand mover to his arm, up to his neck and cheek. “do you own a bathroom?” female raised her eyebrows already planning the night in the head.

What was this, a new pet name? Were they giving each other nicknames now? Flynn could think of names that would be appropriate for only them to hear though he didn’t think it would be long until he was referring to her as something other than ‘Katie’. There was a grin on his face as Katherine approached him, her hand causing his cheek to warm as the male leaned into her touch. “Yes, the undressing part,” he echoed, his arms coming around her back, tugging Katie into his chest. “And yeah, though, I don’t fill it much. I just tend to use the shower that’s hanging over it. I feel like I’m a little tall for baths - my knees stick out of the water,” Flynn mused, referencing his height.

“i’ll be the judge of that.” young female winked at him and when they arrived at their destination she got out of the car, seconds after him. they were living pretty far from each other, she wouldn’t call it a walking distance, for sure. she wasn’t often in that part of town, but it looked decent. once again grabbing his hand she looked around, trying to memorize as many details as possible, but it was dark outside so she figured it would look so much different in the morning. “you pervert.” after laughing she let him lead her to his apartment, she hoped it would be a place where both of them would make many great memories, get to know each other and have fun without worrying about annoying her roommate. when they got inside she started looking around instantly. “i don’t know what i expected, i spent a long time wondering how your place looks like.“ when he turned the light katherine looked back at him. “it’s very… you.”

With a grin on his face, Flynn lead the way to his apartment door where he jammed the key into the lock to let the pair into the building. It was dark as the door swung open so Flynn fumbled to find the light switch to illuminate their path. As the room lit up, from the doorway you could see into the living space where Flynn had a sofa and TV unit set up as well as a small table an chairs. He had a few movie posters framed on the walls and family photos. “In here is storage and a washing machine,” he started, pointing to a door on the left. “I’ve got a desk there... My little kitchen area-,” Flynn pointed to the little ‘L’ shaped kitchen that hugged the wall as he walked into the apartment. “Bathroom is through there and bedroom is there. It’s not much but it does the job,” he shrugged, collecting a few glasses that he’d left on the side to dump into the sink. “I hope it’s not too much of a let down.”

“Wow, you recognize my shampoo?” She laughed softly, pulling away to look up at him. “I don’t know whether to find that cute or creepy.” She was just kidding of course. Her eyes scanned his face, like as if she was trying to make a copy of his features. “I really missed you. You are very handsome.” She leaned up to kiss his cheek quickly.

Harry could feel a heat creep into his cheeks. “Yeah, I liked the smell so I recognise it now. Sorry,” he replied, chewing the inside of his cheek slightly. The last thing he wanted was to come across as creepy or weird but Harry noticed features like that when he liked someone. “I missed you, too,” he admitted, feeling the heat of her kiss against his cheek. “Keep up the compliments because they might help you get in my good books for good.”

they opened the door to a whole new world, it was a new chapter, new possibilities. there was nothing stopping them now. katherine almost regretted not having that conversation sooner, and letting herself believe that she wanted something else. that connection was all she wanted and needed, he was everything she could ask for. no matter where it was going to take them, even if that was supposed to be her biggest heartbreak ⎯ it was all worth it. “do you think the state of your apartment is going to freak me out?” katherine raised her eyebrows, her own place was always super clean, along with jennifer they had a cleaning schedule and were keeping things very tidy. “it wouldn’t be stealing, but sharing.” them felt right, like two puzzle pieces of the same picture. “that is so cute.” a bright smile wouldn’t leave her lips as she was learning more about him.

“It’s not too bad,” he replied in relation to his apartment and it’s tidiness. “Not as organised as your place but you won’t catch a disease walking into it.” Flynn hadn’t been expecting to have anyone over, let alone Katherine but he was pleased that she was peeking into his own world. When the car stopped, Flynn reached for the car door and swung it open before climbing out. Checking his phone, he made sure the payment and tip went through to the driver as Flynn waited for Katie to exit the vehicle. “Come on, lets get you inside and undressed.”
