But I think I finally found one. It looks like home. I love it. It’s in my budget. It’s walking distance to work and uni. It looks so cozy!! It’s a 1 bed, 1 bath. It’s got a laundry room in the basement.

It requires I make 3x rent. Stinky. How the hell am I supposed to do that?! I’m doing 17 credit hours and work 20 hours a week. HOW CAN YOU EXPECT ME TO MAKE $2200 A MONTH???

Hopefully someone in my family will be a guaranteer. Somebody surely has to.

Get me out of this goddamn room, I’m a grown woman and shouldn’t have to share with another adult.

AAAAAAAAA!!!!!! ENNARD LORE ENNARD LORE!!!

Question: What's the timeline of Baby/Ennard/The Funtimes splitting up in the CGHA universe? Like, when Mari/Mike first go down to ARI are they fighting the whole conglomeration or is Ennard alone? And if it is all of them, at what point did they split?

Alright, here we go!

So, prior to CGHA, both Ben Hansberry and Michael Afton went down to Afton Robotics at separate but close times. Ben was scooped, but the body failed. Michael was scooped and the amalgam of Circus Baby and the Funtimes escaped Afton Robotics. Shortly afterwards, Michael's body failed and they escaped.

Fighting in the group led to Baby getting tossed out by her bandmates and they wandered briefly before returning to Afton Robotics, as their body was weakened without Baby. Unknowing to them, the soul of one of their previous victims was starting to spread further into the body- likely caused by how disjointed things became after they had ditched their leader, Baby.

One by one, their fourth voice unintentionally filled more of the body, and the other inhabitants were forced out. This left Ennard as his own being and the remains of the Funtimes leftover in Afton Robotics until they eventually rebuilt themselves as the Moltens in the basement.

Now, Baby had also returned to Afton Robotics- reluctantly. She gathered up parts and pieces and rebuilt herself into Scrap Baby and then went to confront her old band. However, by time she got there, Ennard had fully overtaken the body, much to her horror. Frightened by her, Ennard fled.

The two existed in Afton Robotics for a while. Baby waiting for another opportunity for 'escape'- Afton Robotics had closed, but there wasn't a realistic way of her escaping into society- and Ennard existing and surviving.

That was, until Mike and Marionette came to Afton Robotics. Seeing her chance, Baby put aside her differences and encouraged Ennard to help her snatch the new body- fully intending to take full control if given the chance. Ennard, tempted by the offer, agreed.

This is why when Ennard first appears it is a mix of Baby and him. She is in control, but the two are working together. Using Ennard's body and wires, they puppeteer the remains of Ballora and the Funtimes to slowly chip down Mike and Mari.

Alas, the plan fails and the two are scooped. Baby separated herself from Ennard and returned to her scrap body while leaving Ennard to pull himself back together. She retreated further into the facility.

But Ennard had a trick up his sleeve. Sometimes before Baby's return, he had partially feasted on Max the Magician's (unknowing he was alive and starved) wiring. With that, he had somehow assimilated his ability for brute force telepathy and used this to lure Mari back to Afton Robotics. He then disguised himself in Baby's old shell.

Mike, Mari, and the others fell for the act and took Ennard with them. The real Baby had not engaged, nor knew of his plan.

So, that's the story! ^_^ Hope that answers your question.

We love Mable’s proof that FNAF looks to her when they run out of ideas and don’t want their story falling TOO out of line!

Could we get descriptions of the human characters, any original designs, and any differences the animatronics have from canon designs in Home and when any appearances may have changed throughout the story? I wanna draw some events from the books but I'm kinda blind to character descriptions in stories unfortunately.

Sure thing!

Mike stands about average height and is of athletic build. Like, not ripped, but he runs regularly and stays in shape almost getting himself killed all the time. He has sharp, blue eyes and black hair that's usually styled to look a little unkept. He has a mild tanned skin tone.

Jeremy stands slightly shorter than Mike and also has blue eyes, and almost always is seen wearing his glasses. His hair is blond and goes to about his neck. He has a pale skin tone and his features are a bit more softer.

Fritz stands a couple inches taller than Mike and Jeremy. He has brunette hair that's kept short, brown eyes, and usually keeps some stubble on his chin. He has a darker skin tone from Mike- I suppose dark tan is sort of the best way to describe it. Mature but friendly features. Dips from having "worked all night" rings under his eyes to a "slept fine" lack of them, and back and forth.

Natalie looks pretty much exactly like Vanessa. I don't know how that ended up happening, but it did. 👀

Initially, Scott's physical description was kept majorly up to interpretation for the reader, but since then he's sort of turned into a brunette with hazel eyes. He has visible but faded scars on his cheeks and across his body from his accident. He lost his lower right leg and wears a prosthetic, though is usually covered by his pants. He frequently wears cardigans and sweaters, slacks, comfortable and soft clothing. He wears glasses when he works and reads, but doesn't require them elsewise.

When CGHA began, Scott looked especially weary and was taking poor care of himself. Living as a recluse and showing such by usually existing in a bathrobe and staying unkept. By the time of GHIAB, Scott is consistently cleaned up and looks healthier.

Louise stands a little taller than Natalie, usually because she wears heels. She has a soft, heart-shaped face and slender but curvy build. Though initially introduced with brown hair, she dyed it red during Halloween and has kept it that way since. She tends to wear skirts and dresses with matching nails and makeup.

Tabitha is a middle aged woman with short brown hair and is frequently seen with a 'I'm done with this world' look on her face. She has a heart-shaped face that matches Louise's, but not as youthful or full.

Chrissy has wavy or semi-curled blond hair and big blue eyes. If that sounds similar to Susie from Pizzeria Simulator, that was in fact another Natalie-Vanessa situation. XD Though Chrissy's hair is not nearly as curled and is more naturally tussled.

All of Charlie's friends stick pretty close to their graphic novel versions.

Gregory looks the same as in Security Breach and while Cassie hasn't appeared yet (in case you're curious), she will have her cutout design.

Ness is a pale woman with shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes. She has body proportions very similar to that woman who's been running around in a bunny suit, which is probably a coincidence.

Okay, now with the major humans out of the way, onto the animatronic changes!

Marionette looks a lot like canon Mari. The only difference is that his neck is a little shorter- though later versions of the Puppet shortened the neck anyways. XD

Foxy looks relatively similar to Fnaf 1/Fnaf AR Foxy. The only difference being that as of the middle of CGHA, Foxy was repaired. He no longer has a tear in his chest and now has fabric over his hand, but still has his hook. Foxy has fabric lower legs and feet that he wears during showtime, but he takes them off when he's not on the clock. His shorts have been repaired and during work hours he can be seen wearing a green pirate coat (the pirate coat from Captain Foxy's Dark Ride in Help Wanted).

Security Puppet Charlie looks a little softer than Pizzeria Simulator Security Puppet. Originally she was supposed to just be that same one, but I keep imagining her with a head and face that's a little close to Mari's in shape, though still with the rounder eyes. The cuteification of Charlie.

Baby originally looked like Scrap Baby, but over the course of AFLH she was repaired. Having plates replaced and repainted to look more like a complete version of Scrap Baby. In GHIAB, Baby took down her pigtail wires and changed them into a low ponytail (to regain her own identity) and then began to wear a small hat. The hat is a refurbished Freddy had, covered in red crushed velveteen with an orange band and a feather, and is a gift from Scott.

Ennard originally looked very much like normal Ennard, though a little more put together. His hands resemble the ones from Ennard's Help Wanted cutout picture instead of the knotted wires like in Sister Location. At the end of AFLH, Ennard got shot in his right eye and had to replace it with a yellow one, with his left remaining blue.

As of GHIAB, Ennard was gifted a technician suit styled to look like a clown costume. Because I'm feeling lazy, here's the exact design from the chapter-

"It looked like the coat a ringleader would wear, though green in color and without coattails. Golden colored buttons lined two rows in the front, with a zipper hidden under an edge of fabric between them. The collar was a deeper, emerald color and edged with sequins that matched the buttons. The sleeve's cuffs matches the collar, but with an edge of a white frill lining it.

The pants had one leg green and the other yellow and were made out of a slightly stretchier material, but otherwise looked like normal pants. There were a pair of new work gloves and boots in the bottom. These were relatively simple compared to everything else, just forest green to somewhat match the theme of the rest. There was a velveteen red ribbon in the bottom, likely to be tied in a bow."

Balloon Boy is in the Little Joe body from Sister Location instead of his old BB body due to concept unification.

Springtrap looks a little less deteriorated than he did in Fnaf 3 because of the time difference.

The last notable animatronic change/appearance is Jake.

Jake is the old Sun. So, his body resembles Sunnymoon's except greyed out due to his lack of glow. Jake wears the Stitchwraith's mask, of which a lone blue eye peeks through, and his tattered black coat (which is often equated to a trash bag like material). Underneath his mask, his face is damaged from having parts removed. His pants are tattered and cut short, and his lower leg has been replaced with an endoskeleton one off of the old Stitchwraith body.

...And yes, that does look vaguely similar to Eclipse. XD That was another one of my patented random fnaf predictions, lol.

What year are the home series took place?

The years get a little wobbly, but the basic idea is that Can't Go Home Again and Almost Feels Like Home took place between 1995 and 1998. Currently it should be the summer of 1999, after Charlie's birthday on May 13th, but before Mari's birthday on July 28th. ^_^

This is the ‘prompt’ for the AU I have created to permit Scott and Ben to meet and potentially fall for each other. My heart couldn’t bear the travesty that was their love life. Either Ben dies or their love dies?? THE AUDACITY!!!

…realistically that is completely logical. I just don’t like logic. Our clown deserves the man to his clown man. <3

I’ve twisted some logic and facts to make something work. It would still follow all the timelines of Home… besides, of course, anything with Ennard himself. Pester me to write out some ideas, if you dare!

I’ve also previously imagined scenarios such as them gaming together and falling for each other over voice chats and stuff… those games weren’t necessarily popular, but they WERE around, and we know Scott gets to test new technologies due to his connections! Perhaps Ben gets a chance to try out/ gets gifted a new gaming system by the company as he patented a piece of the controller for the system or something? He is a tinkering mastermind, so it’s not TOO too far out of reach… hell, maybe Ben meets Bree at animatronicon and she ends up giving him Scott’s contact info as a good tester, or hears about Ben’s interest in animatronics and knows Scott might have access to some of the old parts/blueprints. (Maybe she sees that Ben would do Scott some good and sends him his way as a little matchmaking act! ;P)

…then we deal with the awkwardness when they get close and inevitably Scott and Michael cross paths. “Hey Scott, swing by my place and come check out this new thing I’m working on! I got something to work perfectly!! The door’s unlocked, my room’s the first door to the left.” and Scott, assuming he’s home alone since Ben doesn’t WARN HIM someone else might be there, walks straight through the door… and nearly runs face first into MICHAEL, who was just about to head out to the bar for work or smth. (Ben thought he’d be gone by the time Scott arrived.) He just hears a “what the HELL are you doing in my house?!” and knows he done fucked up.

Yes, I am having way too much fun here.

Well, let's see...

I'd like to think Mike and Mari would still have gotten together. Though how they got together might've been significantly different. They could've met while Mari was sneaking in somewhere where he shouldn't have been, or if a Foxy's is opened, maybe the two stumble into being coworkers. I almost see them starting off a little more abrasive with each other, taking a little longer to become friends and then closer, but somehow I still think they'd wind up close.

It should be noted that Marionette is very protective of Mike, but I wonder if that dynamic would've shifted if he would've still been human. Maybe Mike would've been more protective (more than usual, lol.) Marion's no longer a force of nature, so Mike's gotta try harder to keep himself alive. XDD

I feel like Jeremy and Gabe too would've gotten together. They would've likely had to meet through Mike and Mari, or perhaps through Foxy's, but I could still see the two's personalities meshing. In fact, Gabe likely would've made a move a lot sooner if he would've been human. At least some of his crippling image issues would've been lesser.

Charlie and Baby are currently at a spot in their friendship, but it's hard to tell what might've been if they had grown up together as humans. Perhaps Charlie and Lizzie would've stayed in a close friend group and, in that case, maybe they would've simply stayed friends. Or maybe they would've broached something earlier. It's hard to tell.

Now the one tragic tale is Scott and Ben. I just don't realistically see how they would've hooked up outside of the scenario they found themselves in. Unless Michael for some reason introduced them. That's not to say it's not a possibility, but it's harder to imagine how it could've went down.

Fritz and Natalie are both humans, clearly, but even without animatronics involved I feel like they would've hooked up pretty quickly. XD They just had that instant click energy.

...Michael probably wouldn't be so lonely. 🥺

I’m sitting outside drawing on campus. I’ve noticed that I haven’t seen a single lone girl, they’re always in pairs. But I’ve had more than a dozen guys pass me. This is a heartbreaking revelation.

This also means that Fnaf is on Balan Wonderworld level of storytelling when they sell the story separate from the games.

It also means that Fnaf's canon now consists of a bunch of short stories that are either lazily written or outright stolen from other works.
