That didn’t sound like a lot of fun in his mind. “They don’t exactly approve of my… Well, anything? Ever? My dad kind of kicked me out and stuff,” he said in an attempt to explain the kind of mess his parents had put him in without outing himself to a stranger. “Oh no, thank you. Is it good? I’ve never been here before.”

“I would never,” they said in the flattest tone that they could manage up. Which was difficult for them. “Your grandma is so cool then!” They laughed but they weren’t going to complain too much. They ran an antique shop after all, old people was practically their bread and butter. They took the phone that was being offered to them and nodded their head. “I promise that I wouldn’t do that to you. If someone calls, you get your phone back the second it comes up. Unless it’s a spam call… I’ll pick up and scare the shit out of them,” they promised.

୭       ･ﾟ       ◦       ❀      𓂅    ❛  scare  them  ??  YOU  scare  them  ?!  ❜  mocks  the  other .  somehow  mood  much  better  without  the  phone  attached  to  exhausted  frame  . ❛  it’d  be  like  being  threatened  by  a  cupcake  .  if  anything,  you’ll  just  entice  them  to  call  me  more .  ❜  an  arm  placed  around  friend’s  shoulder  .  ❛  wow  !!  i  just  realized  how  much  i  needed  to  go  out  .  what  would  i  ever  do  without  you  .  promise  me  you  won’t  ever  get  TIRED  of  me  .  ❜

the newly hired chef can’t help but to stare at the woman for just a moment eyes blinking with no reaction on his face. “no not at all - am i supposed to?” he asked now as his brow raised in curiosity.
