ERICA NEVER GOT TO GO TO PROM, SHE NEVER MADE IT TO JUNIOR YEAR, SHE JUST WANTED TO GO TO PROM WITH BOYD AND ISAAC. THAT’S IT. SHE NEVER MADE IT. SHE DIED AT SIXTEEN, AND NOT EVEN LIKE… LATE INTO SIXTEEN, EARLY SIXTEEN, NO DRIVERS LICENSE, HER FIRST KISS BEING WITH A GUY WHO THREW HER ON THE GROUND AND HER SECOND AND THIRD BEING AGAINST HER WILL. SHE NEVER SAW ANYONE FALL IN LOVE WITH HER. SHE NEVER GOT TO SAY GOODBYE TO ISAAC. SHE DIED THINKING EVERYONE ABANDONED HER. HER BODY WAS THROWN IN A FUCKING CLOSET LIKE SHE WAS NOTHING. SHE WAS TORTURED AND KILLED BY WOLFSBANE ( headcanon but it’s pretty accurate ). HER PARENTS DITCHED HER EMOTIONALLY AT THE AGE OF 12 ( yup it’s canon ). SHE HAD NOT ONE, NOT TWO, BUT THREE SEIZURES IN FRONT OF THE GUY SHE HAD A CRUSH ON ( the video, the rock wall, and the library ).

HER FIRST KISS BEING WITH A GUY WHO THREW HER ON THE GROUND (okay but am i the only one that didn’t see what she did to Derek as being against his will? that’s totally unfair to point that out like he was in the wrong when he has a right to push her off of him when she’s providing unwanted advances. not just women are allowed to say no folks.)  

SHE DIED THINKING EVERYONE ABANDONED HER. (she made the decision to leave. she heard wolves-- or what she thought were other wolves and decided to leave taking boyd with her. derek asked her and boyd not to go. NOT just that but he did continue to look for them. NOT only that but, he did go back for her.)

Do I think Erica deserved better? Hell yes-- HELL YES. BUT-- She deserved more character development. She deserved not to be over sexualized as a 15-16 year old girl.  Erica didn’t deserve to die the way she did. She didn’t deserve to be a vixen as a child. That’s how she deserved better. 

The writer’s did her a great disservice by throwing her in as a pariah. She should have been able to be more Cora and less sex kitten. THAT’S HOW SHE DESERVED BETTER.
