yeah i totally get the sentiment that naruhina came out of nowhere. I mean, if you disregard the fact that she’d been in love with him since she was a kid and how she was one of the first people who accepted him for who he was and how she was the first person he ever opened up to about his insecurities about being a weak loser and how his opinion of her was transformed and how she almost died for him after confessing her undying love and how he underwent the biggest berserker rampage he’d ever had ever in the whole series when he thought pain killed her and how they both cried tears of joy when they learnt the other was alive and how he saved her during the war and she was immediately able to tell it was him and he immediately noticed she was feeling down on herself so he successfully cheered her up and how kiba teased him about trying to look cool in front of her (almost like its kinda obvious wtf? ? ?) and how a whole bunch of hyuuga came to protect naruto but the only one he noticed was hinata and how she tried to die for him FUCKING AGAIN but neji sacrifices himself for them both and reminds naruto that his life is linked with hinata’s and how naruto almost breaks from neji’s death but hinata rouses him while caressing his face which causes him to thank her for always being by his side and to hold her hand as they face death and how her perfect world is just existing around him and how he only notices her capture by the infinite tsukuyomi and would’ve tried to save her had sasuke not stopped him and how he just stands by her in silent support at neji’s funeral and the entire goddamn movie dedicated to just how canon they are

but if you ignore all that yeah naruhina does kinda seem like an asspull doesn’t it??
