Never trust the Tiger’s lie.

You will meet her hanging signs.

Charismatic; with a hand,

She’ll invite you to a haunting dance.

With her lead, you’ll do it so,

And she’ll ask if you would do a show.

She owns a circus, old as time,

and needs a dancer, oh so fine.

In the tent, you’ll meet the crew,

They’ll mind you none, though you are new.

You’ll see rabbits pulled from a hat,

You’ll see the soaring acrobats.

Through months of practice, you’ll feel brand new,

Even though you ate no food.

In your first show, you’ll be quite calm,

Heart not beating fast at all.

You’ll step onto the grand lit stage

To greet no crowd, no cheers, no face.

Despite your doubts, you’ll start to dance,

And you’ll see a jester’s ghostly mask.

From the wings, you’ll see the tiger,

Messing up the string she found beside her.

The last thing seen before you die,

Is the malice in the tiger’s eye.
