Hey! I set the dca plushies to work as CIT's in vanilla! It's only compatible with 1.21.5+ unfortunately but if you know your way around a resource pack it should be easy enough to move it to different versions with optifine support easy enough :>
Get them here!

Ok but i have to ask
Does baby moon ever try to move the rays on his hood like how a suns rays wiggle, retract or even spin? I bet with all the suns around he would definitely try to imatate them.
Baby moon: *vigorously gripping at the hood rays to get them to move.*
Killer sun: ...whats wrong with it? Why is the moon thing doing that?
Granted this ain't the worst stuff Killer Sun has commented on about the baby so far. Dark Sun just don't care for any of his opinions or commentary whatsoever.
Enjoy

Hi, I love your baby moon au and I wanted to know if it's cool for me to make a Polymer Clay sculpture of the little dude. Manly asking in case it winds up being something I wanna put in a portfolio in the future that and so I have a reason to not procrastinate on it. Sorry if this comes off as awkward.
Perfectly reasonable question to ask.
The answer is YES!
I would love to see that!
And any art for a portfolio is good art!

A tired day, more than usual, so I'm letting Dark Sun catch up on some rest too, along with baby Moon for comfort.
Is hard work being that cute and looking after a baby while running a cult sanctuary.
Do enjoy!

Baby Moon AU Part 2!
This fic is inspired by @thedenofravenpuff baby moon au!
Trigger warnings: mpreg, body modification without permission
First
It was nearing the end of month 4 of Dark Sun’s… pregnancy. It felt weird to even have the thought that there was a small animatronic being built inside of him. He was sat next to the fireplace in a plush chair his feet up on an ottoman. He had been sent home by some of the other Suns after he had nearly fell asleep at a meeting about the next batch of homes since more Suns were in need of aid. A small group of Suns even volunteered to be the ones to portal to the different dimensions to help bring more inhabitants to their new home.
Dark Sun couldn’t even say no, with his condition he only found himself more tired and plagued by brain fog more often then he liked to admit. He had hand picked the team that would be going out to the other dimensions and also created a temporary center for others to keep watch and contact with the ones that would be out there in the field.
He has his eyes closed as he pushed himself to drink some tea while looking over some documents before bed. He had a hand placed over the much larger bump while he read the documents in his other hand.
Then it happened, a movement under his silicone, it felt like time stopped in that moment. Reality, once again, stunning him into pure awareness at the situation. He had been doing his best to remain neutral to avoid the conflicting emotions that would cloud his judgement. He got a pop up from the software letting him know it was running a motor test on the small animatronic inside of him.
Until now the theoretical idea of him having an animatronic baby was easy to swallow, the bump just there. But now that there was movement, this all felt a lot more real, and the reality was, his life was about to have a huge change. Though, he could very easily give the child away to one of the other couples in the community. But, was that the right choice? How would a community of family driven Suns react to him refusing his own… oil and metal?
Suddenly, he felt a rush of rage, hot tears building up and falling down his faceplate. He threw the documents he was holding and stood grabbing the mug from the table and throwing it at the wall. Fury taking hold of him.
It wasn’t fair! He didn’t consent to this! A fucking Moon once again dictated and chose for him! He had no choice in this! This was happening and he had no idea how to stop it! He didn’t even think he could do this! He had to give the thing away! How could he take care of something that he never asked for or wanted?!
If his younger self could see him now they would beg him to keep and love and cherish this gift. But, how could he?!
Before he knew it, the whole room was in disarray, furniture was knocked over and papers were everywhere.
He left the room deciding that dealing with this tonight wasn’t in him. He was exhausted after his tantrum, he felt like a damned toddler who wasn’t getting his way. With the exhaustion came grief, guilt, and some other emotions he couldn’t identify. He felt guilty for blaming the metal child growing inside him. He was grieving what he could have had if his Moon wasn’t such a monster. He managed to make it to his room, he sprawled himself out in his bed and plugged himself into his charging cable.
His eyes felt heavy as his body craved sleep mode, he cautiously cradled the stretched silicone. “You’re causing a lot of problems,” he sighed, “you’re not even here and I’m so scared.”
Dark Sun didn’t have time to dwell on the unexpected confession, as sleep mode took over.
—————————
A few weeks later, continuing to ignore the conflicting feelings and dread around the due date of this… problem? He was heading into a meeting some of the Suns had set up. A small group having their weekly book club all ran up to him while he was on his way.
The Sun named Star was the head of the book club, “Sun, how are you feeling?”
“Good afternoon, Star,” Dark Sun smiled and then nodded to the rest of the group, “I’m doing well. How is your book club going?”
“It’s going great! We started on Catcher in the Rye,” they spoke excitedly.
“I’ve read that one myself,” Dark Sun noticed sunshine looked a little timid, “is everything alright sunshine?”
When she was spoken to she looked up blushing slightly, “I was wondering, c-“ she shut her eyes tight, “can I feel the baby?” She spoke quietly.
At first Dark Sun felt his smile falter, did he want that? “Oh, sure, Sunshine.” He spoke before he really thought it through, and soon a gentle pair of hands were on his distended silicone.
“Oh, it’s dense!” She spoke surprised, “oh this is so amazing!” She was near tears as she spoke. Others came up taking turns. He started to disassociate through the interaction, but he couldn’t deny these suns something they found so magical. For them this was hope.
They offered to walk him the rest of the way to his meeting, and he welcomed it and they walked together while they asked question after question. ‘Do you have a name yet?’ ‘Have you started to decorate a room for the little one?’ ‘Have you found a way to see it like an ultrasound?’
Dark Sun did his best to keep up with the questions and soon they found themselves at the meeting location. He really should have seen this coming, but with all that was going on, and dealing with what to do with the child when it arrived. So, when he opened the door and was met with pastels, balloons, banners, and a loud cheer of ‘Surprise!’ It threw him off.
His eyes went wide, he had completely forgotten that they were planning a baby shower. He would be lying if he said he wasn’t touched by the care and planning put into this. Sunflower came up and placed a sash over his head, when he looked down it said ‘Father to be.’ He had to recompose himself as he read over the text again and again.
He was going to be a father. He mentally counted to ten and did his best to smile instead of break down in front of all of those who depended on him. Somehow he managed to make it through the party with pleasantries and watched the Suns have a celebration in his name, but he thinks that they all needed this.
The gifts is where he felt the emotions really start to well up inside of him. They were all thoughtful and mostly handmade. Some were essentials like a handwoven fabric to wrap the baby to his chest, hand made clothes, some bibs, onesies, and even handmade wooden crib. Then the toys they ranged between sewn plushies and hand carved wooden ones. He was so impressed by this group of animatronics and their ability to come together for each other, and himself.
He gave them all a heartfelt thank you and enjoyed the rest of the night, snacking on the food and watching the others dance and enjoy themselves. Thankfully, being pregnant was a good reason to not want to move very much. A few of the others came up and offered to babysit when the time came. He had told them that he would let them know when the child was actually ready to be.
Had a lot of help getting the gifts to his place, where he admitted he hadn’t had time to set up a room yet and they promised to set up a group to help him with getting a room ready especially so close to his due date.
He had no way to thank these Suns for not only helping him build this community, but also for including him in their care and warmth. This is why he has saved them from their Moons, so they could thrive and exist with no one to take advantage of their kindness.
By the next week he had a functional nursery and a bunch of Suns in his kitchen making meals for him to freeze. They all insisted. While he sat at a chair in the kitchen taking it easy.
“Are you excited?” Sol had asked sitting across from him. Dark Sun has gotten used to keeping his worries and concerns to himself. He didn’t want to worry the others. He would figure this out on his own.
“It will be interesting to see if this is successful,” Dark Sun maneuvered to make himself more comfortable.
“You do a lot for all of us, Sun, you deserve a family,” Sol pat his hand and grinned, “after everything all of us have been through this is a little miracle.”
Dark Sun could feel the dread settling in the pit of his stomach, he would have to learn how to care and possibly have a familial tie with this child.
It was a good thing that the nursery was ready, because the next day he got a pop up from the software program: Project complete.
From what he gathered from the note about this pseudo organ, he would need to prepare-
That’s when the pain started, Dark Sun was nearly brought to his knees. He held his abdomen, and he could feel the small animatronic moving around inside looking to be free. He tried to simulate breathing, in an attempt to calm himself down. The pain is absolutely horrid, it radiated all through his midsection and up his back. Nexus made sure that he suffered as much as possible during this process.
Nexus you fucking bastard.
He tried to remember what he needed to do, but he found it hard to concentrate with the pain, he was barely able to stand. He finally managed to push himself to walk back to his room, he grabbed the laptop from his desk and finally managed to crawl into bed. He looked over the blue prints, it seemed as though there was only one way out, and Nexus had made sure this would be incredibly painful. Fucking asshole.
He then took deep breaths and began to push.
After hours of what the humans called labor, he finally felt the small animatronic leave his body. He immediately wrapped the crying infant in a blanket he had near by and held it close to his chest. He held the small wiggly child while he let his body come down from the extreme pain.
Once he felt like he had the strength, he cautiously looked down to see the animatronic and immediately he froze.
No rays, just a round head, this was a moon model, not even an eclipse. He plugged the baby into his laptop and checked over his code and hardware. This was just a moon model. How could he just have a moon model as a child? On a world full of just Suns?
The small infant looked up at him curiously, red eyes staring at him so innocently. But, how could he keep this baby? But, he couldn’t explain where the child went. His community would be devastated if the child no longer existed.
God Damnit Nexus!
He closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down, while the small child clung onto his chest.
Dark Sun, once again, looked down at the small being in his arms, the big red eyes looking up at him like he was the world. Somewhere deep down he knew, he was fucked.

Is it too cruel to say Sun, in the Parenthood Tested AU, will be put through angst
Yes, this will complicate things between Eclipse and Moon. Why? Because Moon trusted Eclipse keep Sun safe; story goes (under cut):
Moon couldnt believe it when he was told. Over the dimensional phone, from Eclipse himself, nonetheless.
Sun, his brother—twin... taken... when Eclipse was right there.
He trusted Eclipse; Eclipse said Sun will be fine, that Sun will just be in his lab to be tested on so they can turn Sun back to normal—did Eclipse even think when he allowed Afton inside? To what, capture him? To torment him, interrogate him?
The price was his twin and Afton didnt even bother staying for long.
"Moon..." Eclipse manages, his voice a whisper. "I—"
"You promised." Moon interrupts, tears spilling from his eyes. "Eclipse, you.." He chokes on his own gasp, making him go quiet.
Eclipse purses his lips, trying not to break. He knew this was his fault, for allowing Afton to be captured just because the bastard surrendered. He was a villain for crying out loud, he shouldve known this would happen.
His lower eyes close, unable to take in how Moon shook and cried. This was the person he was relatively close to in a sense he couldnt explain and this event was their chance to grow close again—or just become allies, but he failed such a simple thing.
"Eclipse, you promised!" Moon tugs on Eclipse's collar, his fists tightening before he falls to the ground, hands covering his face in a desperate attempt to hide his tears. "You promised..."
Eclipse lets out a shaky breath. "..Im sorry." Was all he could manage.

Moments before disaster.
No sound since I forgot what the sound was </3
what theyre saying/whats happening↓
"It'll be nothing serious." Eclipse shrugs, crossing his arms.
His main eyes remain fixed on Moon, but his second set is on Sun who swung his legs as Moon carried him with only one hand—was that safe? Eclipse did not know; he wasnt a Daycare Attendant, so he could only assume Moon knew what he was doing.
It was a last minute request on asking if Sun could stay over at the EAPS dimension for a bit so Eclipse could run some diagnostic checks, hopefully being able to find out how to turn Sun back to normal. Moon didnt appear reluctant at the request, not even asking if he could stay as well. In fact, this was the most Moon looked relax, especially around Eclipse and in an unfamiliar dimension.
Maybe Eclipse is gaining Moon's trust. Although, both were in denial of it.
"Alright..." Moon nods, although it was light but not hesitant. "I suppose checkups on his systems wouldnt be too bad, especially since its different from before."
"Youve checked?"
"Tried to. Its gotten... complicated. Some parts got compressed while other disappeared. Did you map it out already?"
"Hes been with me for a good few weeks. Of course I have."
"Fair enough..." Sighed Moon.
Looking down on his now very much younger twin, Moon couldnt help but smile. He lifted Sun close, pressing his cheek onto Sun's forehead, making the younger one giggle.
"Just keep this little troublemaker safe for me, Eclipse. Thats all I ask." He would coo before his mouth forms a thin smile.
Sun lightly creates some distance between him and Moon in his laughing fit, making both older animatronics reach out just in case he would fall.
And Sun kept laughing.
It sounded more like a squeak in some parts—he is squeaking for the most part. It was his usual laugh but more pitched paired with a squeak each time he would hic—at least, produce a sound similar to a hic.
Its a miracle his voicebox hadnt overheated.
With his big, milky white eyes, Sun looks up at Moon with a toothy grin before he pulls his older brother into a tight hug.
Its been a while since Moon has hugged Sun even prior this event. So, with gentle movements, Moon wraps his other hand on Sun's body in an effort to embrace him. Leaning their heads closer, Moon can feel Sun's soft, petal-like rays against his colder metal. He wonder if Sun is bothered by it, but the young bot doesnt appear to mind—he even leaned closer, hugging Moon more tightly.
"Alright..." Eclipse extends his hand, offering to hold Sun. "Enough of this. Lets get going, Sunrise."
"Ah, right." Moon's smile softens. "You two get with the chekcup. I'll pick Sun up tomorrow. Keep him safe for me, Eclipse."
"He'll be fine. I promise."
