Can we talk about how Gilbert Blythe looks at Anne after he tells her it’s all forgotten (after he specifically said she didn’t even need to apologize to begin with). How it is completely forgiven and he still holds the same feelings for her that he did before. 

And how Anne Shirley, who always has so much to say starts a whole new thought about everything she’s learned since then, but completely forgets it and trails off when she turns to see how Gilbert is looking at her (see the third gif)? And how sad Gilbert looks when he realizes he should get going? And how disappointed Anne looks when he says that, followed by her realizing she was, in fact disappointed and not knowing at all how too feel about it.
