TW: Blood, Graphic Gore, and major character death (not reader)

Synopsis: After moving into a new house, you meet an entity named Jack. While things were unsettling, it didn't get bad till your partner came home.

Happy Halloween

You and your partner finally got the house of your dreams. The two of you knew it was a big step despite not even being married yet, but it felt right for the two of you. You weren't sure where this entity named "Jack" came from, but the longer he stayed, the more uncomfortable you've become. You felt like eyes were constantly on you. You would wake up to your covers down to your ankles, feeling like someone is behind you in the shower, even arms wrapping around you when cooking dinner. You were starting to feel uncomfortable in your own home, and it was starting to get to you. You were close to contacting your local pastor when your partner finally came home.

Shaun had been gone on another movie production. While you did miss him, you knew it was a dream, so you supported from home. You haven't had the chance to tell him of your new....roommate. So when he came home and you had greeted him with an excited smile and kiss followed by a kitchen floating up and smashing by the wall beside the two of you, he was surprised, to say the least.

The long Shaun the aggressive the entity became. Mostly to Shaun and mostly around you. You could feel the tension between you and Shaun the more it progressed. So, on your way home from work, while on a call with him to meet in the kitchen and solve this...problem.

When you walked in the house was...dark and quiet all except for the kitchen. It wasn't abnormal per se, but you thought maybe more lights be on or at least signs that he was home. Closing the front door behind you, you stepped more into the dark, looking around cautiously. You were about to call for Shaun when you heard a squishing sound followed by a gurggled moan.

It was coming from the kitchen, making your blood run cold. You quietly made your way to the room. As you looked into the room, your eyes widened in fear as you froze. In the middle of the kitchen floor laid Shaun in a pool of his own blood. He was ripped open from his chest down like some sort of sick science experiment. Above him was this thing.

It was tall and top heavy, its arms and legs abnormally long as its elbow touched the floor, and its knees went its head while crouched. It has long needle like fingers, dig inside Shaun before pulling out his slow beating heart "N̸̡̧͕͙̼̻̳̦̪̞̯͎̦͓̏̒͌͑͒͊̾͌̑̅̕͝ͅŏ̸̡̼̺̫̥̻͈̞̍͆̏̓́͜͝ͅ M̶̧͚̪͉̯̜̰͎̘̀͋̇̀͗̍́͆̑̏͂̿̊̚ŏ̸̡̼̺̫̥̻͈̞̍͆̏̓́͜͝ͅŖ̷͇̙̰̭̪̟̺̲̜̹͔̎̍́ͅë̸͓̮͉͈͇͍̖͎̩̞͈́́́̋̇̾͋̈́̾͆͑͘͘͜͠͝" He crushed the heart before letting it fall back in his body with a dull thud.

You step back, unable to witness it dig through his body any longer. However, a creak came from the floor behind you, catching the creatures attention. The creatures swung to look at you, making your ear run deeper. Its head was stretched with a mop of blue hair on top, its mouth wide open in a smile, and its dark eye sockets wide. almost like the head was hollow. "Ś̸͙̺̥̰̯͙̭͆̏͂u̷̬̩̰̫͕̘͎̔́̃̄̍͋̓N̸̡̧͕͙̼̻̳̦̪̞̯͎̦͓̏̒͌͑͒͊̾͌̑̅̕͝ͅs̴̹̀̎̇͗̍͗̾̋̏̈͐͒̕͠͠ͅḨ̵̛̘̤͙͔̝̫̖̻̦̞͙̺̅̿͘͝i̶̡̹͈͎̳̞͙͖̾̂̀͑̀͆̑̓̽̉͐͘͘ͅN̸̡̧͕͙̼̻̳̦̪̞̯͎̦͓̏̒͌͑͒͊̾͌̑̅̕͝ͅë̸͓̮͉͈͇͍̖͎̩̞͈́́́̋̇̾͋̈́̾͆͑͘͘͜͠͝"

It reached out its clawed hand twords your direction, but before it could reach you, you quickly bolted the way you came. You tried to get the front door open, but it was like it was stuck. No matter how much you pulled or turned the handle, it never moved.

Behind you, you can hear a creak, making you slowly turn your head to the source. there that thing was creeping out of the kitchen still covered in Shaun's blood. "M̶̧͚̪͉̯̜̰͎̘̀͋̇̀͗̍́͆̑̏͂̿̊̚i̶̡̹͈͎̳̞͙͖̾̂̀͑̀͆̑̓̽̉͐͘͘ͅN̸̡̧͕͙̼̻̳̦̪̞̯͎̦͓̏̒͌͑͒͊̾͌̑̅̕͝ͅë̸͓̮͉͈͇͍̖͎̩̞͈́́́̋̇̾͋̈́̾͆͑͘͘͜͠͝"

panic ran through you as you ran to the hallway, connect to your room. You quickly hid under you once you shared a bed coving your mouth. It was quiet it was almost comforting till what sound like something on four legs from that thing could be heard coming into the room.

The clawed hand followed by the feet came into view. It was crawling around looking for you. You closed your eyes tightly, hoping the thing would just go away. You waited till it got quiet again before finally opening your eyes again, omce again hoping to find a way out. Instead, you were greeted with the thing itself.

Its head lay on the floor as two eyes opened in the mouth of the creature. The black dead eye looked stared into your soul " s̴̹̀̎̇͗̍͗̾̋̏̈͐͒̕͠͠ͅU̴̡̢̱̳̳͓̗͔̮̔͜͜͜ǹ̷̨͍̮̥̹̘͙̗̻̬̬̜̥̮̃̒̈́̽͗̿̍̄̂̏͆͠͝Ś̸͙̺̥̰̯͙̭͆̏͂ḥ̸̨̧̗̮̖̽̂̓̀̍̋͋́̅̃͘͜͝I̸̺̺͎̰̥̜̯̼̮̰͖̜͂͆̿̈́̿̔ǹ̷̨͍̮̥̹̘͙̗̻̬̬̜̥̮̃̒̈́̽͗̿̍̄̂̏͆͠͝Ȩ̸̪̯̗̘̥̣̲̣̣͍͚͙̥̩́̀̈̆͑"

Before you could react, the creature had already grabbed your wrist, dragging you from under the bed. You screamed and thrashed, but nothing seemed to faze it. It just continued to drag out of the room, down the hall, into the living room, and finally out the door.

"Authorties were called to the young couples house when their job called for a wellfair check on the. The two haven't shown up for work for several days, causing friends and family to worry. However, upon entering that residence, they were faced with a gruesome sight. Young Shaun Durand laid dead on the kitchen floor, his partner no where to be seen."

Takes your writers block from you

The two of your twirled around the large room as you let out a giggle. Jack smiled lovingly down at you, almost completely forgetting where the two of you were.

"Don't keep the dragonborne to yourself!" Before Jack could react, a nord came behind him, taking you away from him. Immediately, Jack's smile fell as you and the nord danced further from him.

Your smile didn't seem bright. In fact, it seemed forced. He began to make his way to you, wanting to save you from whatever this guy was doing. However, once again before he could reach you, you were twirled into the arms of a wood elf. This happened a couple more times before you pulled away from whatever partner you were with.

You didn't hesitate to find your way to Jack with a nervous laugh. "I forgot how joyful the people of Skyrim can be when celebrating."

Jack hummed with a nod before he gently grabbed your hand. "How about we step outside for a bit sunshine." You nodded, following the bigger nord outside the dining hall.

Even as the big doors shut behind you two, you can hear the party still raging inside. Jack let go of your hand, his gaze going up to the sky. Besides the muffled music and laughter, it was quiet before Jack finally spoke, his eyes never leaving the night sky. "It's over, huh?" You looked up at him questioningly."I mean. Alduin is gone, and the world is safe again... I guess it time to start looking for new work."

Though he wasn't looking at you, he could see the shocked expression from the corner of his eye. "Are you leaving? why?"

It was Jack's turn to look at you with a raised eyebrow. "I thought you were gonna focus on the companions now?"

"Yes, as Harbinger, I think it's best to do so, but I'm not sure why that means you have to leave. Was it Vilkas? If so, he doesnt-"

Jack shook his head, his eyes finally meeting yours. "No. I know how Vilkas is. I'm not a companion, Sunshine. I'm not sure they will take too kindly to me hanging around."

You took a hold of his hand, making him visibly perk up "Jack I WANT you by my side. If the others have a problem with it, then they can take up with me."

Jack could feel his face go hot. This felt like a confession, and he would be lying if he said he didn't want that. "Do you mean-"

You look up at him, love and determination shining bright in your eyes. "I love you Jack...I wanted to tell you after the celebrations away from everyone, but too late, I suppose."

Jack could feel his whole body light up. You loved him possibly as much as he loved you! "d...do you mean it?"

Now you were fully facing hold both of his large calloused hands in your own. "More then you could ever know."

That was all Jack needed to hear as he pulled you into deep yet passionate kiss. He wasn't exactly sure what the future holds for the two of you, but God's above is he glad he is by your side.
