no but playing lars’ godheim route had me bawling my eyes out bc he was just a precious little boy who wanted peace in godheim and to protect the people he cared about ??? he never wanted to be feared, he wanted to be loved. he was so pure and selfless and loving as a child but the damn glacial butterflies hardened his heart, placed an ice cold barrier around his chest and took his kindness away. him just seeking warmth and comfort from MC as his fake empress wife had my heart bleeding angst bro. he deserved so much better than losing the people he loved. the golden-haired emperor with his golden heart, a brave-hearted little cub who grew into a fearless mighty lion 🥺🥺

after unlocking the travel event for lars, you cannot convince me that his love language isn’t QUALITY TIME. like he’s always finding ways to be in MC’s presence?? appearing out of nowhere but wherever she is. the travel event deffo attests to that. he even suggested and was more than willing to be her observational drawing !! the man is always seeking out and wanting to spend his time with MC. he wanted her to be his assistant (not even for the day but for a whole damn year lol) and for her to follow him around all day and be wherever he is?? even when his schedule was jampacked (with shooting for variety shows + meetings during lunch) he still wanted to her to be around him !! when she fell asleep, he was glad to still be in her presence. he’s a busy man with a multi-million business so he knows his time is precious yet he still wanted to spend it with MC for as long as possible. i mean— “having you here makes things slightly more bearable.” omg he’s so !! my personal hc for sea-hugger-lars

i definitely think lars’ love for the ocean surged to the surface when he was very young

his family is hella rich, so he went on cruise ships a lot as a kid

he fell off a boat once when he was younger and almost drowned

but his 7-year-old self thought a woman with a fishtail saved him (oh the imaginations of a child) hence his belief in mermaids growing up

the accident didn’t deter him from falling in love with the ocean tho

in fact it made him go on solo boat trips all the time (he has multiple yachts lol) to get over his fear

he definitely did semester at sea since his family is wealthy enough

he’s an excellent swimmer and a fantastic surfer

he was part of the water polo little leagues when he was younger and dragon boat racing at st. shelter academia

he loves aquatic sports (i would have said watersports but y’all are going to get the wrong idea ksjskskdl)

he’s tried every single recreational activity IN, ON and UNDER water

snorkelling, free diving, scuba diving, wakeboarding, water skiing, body boarding, canoeing and kayaking (his faves in bold)

he’s not an adrenaline junkie but he loves being adventurous so he doesn’t like fishing bc it’s so tame and boring

he also doesn’t like the idea of capturing and forcefully holding the sea creatures (even if momentary) bc he adores lil fishies 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

but he also loves eating fish (i realise the irony ksjsklsldd lars is a walking contradiction)

his favourite animal is a sea lion

he’s definitely into selkie mythology and loves reading about them in nordic myths and legends of the sea (since he himself is scandinavian)

he has an aquarium (or three)

one in his apartment, one in his office and one in his favourite beach house

he owns a dwelling by the sea in every popular coastal area in the world bc he a rich mf

so we know that lars is the ceo of feinz group but i don’t think he actually studied business at st. shelter academia. instead, i think he would have taken the marine biology course bc of his love for the ocean (and also nonexistent mermaids lol). he’s canonically a ‘rich environmentalist’ as mc puts it so it would make sense that he knows about sea pollution and coral reef degradation since he studied geological oceanography and marine organisms. &&& lars would definitely be a science guy imo, he’s more than smart enough!! like you can’t be the ceo of a multi-million enterprise and not be mentally astute, right?? a real nerd who reads up on news regarding maritime developments and geek out about random facts about the ocean.
