Underrated aspect of s6/7 is that for the most part, what we the audience see of Spike and Buffy's relationship in s6 is pretty toxic and extremely physical, though of course there are glimpses of genuine tenderness and friendship. BUT we get a lot of snippets of things that we weren't shown, like Spike knowing that Buffy likes ice on her neck, or Buffy saying that actually Billy Idol stole Spike's look. Just little hints and details at all the actual real conversations and moments of bonding that was going on offscreen between those two, something more than just a purely sexual fling. Which is why in s7 when Spike says "we're not best friends anymore" it's actually so devastating because yeah...they were each other's closest friends at that time :(

I’ve been watching Danny Phantom and I get it. I get it now.

This show loves to make some offhanded comment, not a hint of consideration or concern in its tone, and just moves on without addressing it like that wasn’t the most creatively horrific concept this side of Nickelodeon. Shit makes up wackass lore on the spot and then disregards it immediately after, asks fascinating questions then looks at you funny when you try to answer them.

I now fully understand how this show has legions of fans dedicated to taking this somewhat mid cartoon and running so far with the implications of the premise they created an entirely different show that’s so much more interesting I’m upset it’s not real.

Zenshu is over... Well that was great. Thought it would simply be a funny isekai parody with way too much money on hand (kind of like Nichijou) but the story was actually so good and touching.

the secret to organising any kind of trip with your friends is to become the benevolent dictator. do NOT wait for everyone to provide a consensus on things before you book anything. do it and then ask for feedback after. do not ask people what they would like to do just tell them what is happening and let them all nod along like the sheep they are. this is the ONLY way to coordinate a group of adults in their 20s/30s
