It’s so funny (re: mildly frustrating) to me when people refer to Tenna as “Just a genuinely nice guy and a goofy goober!”

Like yeah he’s a goofy goober but the only reason why he’s nice to the FUN gang is b/c

1. Nostalgia in the case of Kris (also he’s working for them (see the sword route for more info))

2. Susie is giving him what he wants (although to be fair I do think that he is just genuinely overjoyed at someone watching him for once. That’s a bit more genuine.)

He ignores Ralsei for basically the whole chapter outside turning him into a marketable plushie

He’s an absolutely abysmal boss???? hello??? Part of getting the pacifist ending in chapter 3 is shredding the Shadowguy’s contracts! He has them in awful unfair contracts and by the end everyone hates him! The only reason why he’s gets saved is because the darkners like us more than they hate Tenna (again, only in pacifist play throughs) He keeps Ramb behind the bar & doesn’t allow him to handle the POINTS, isolating him because he doesn’t like Ramb (which is fair and funny as hell but still ahdbandjsv)

He’s also emotionally manipulative???? lol??? did yall miss this entirely???? He guilt trips the FUN gang into round 2 and when they refuse to play round 3 he just straight up attacks them out of desperation (also not cool???? lol)

He is obviously unstable and has insane insecurity and abandonment issues, which we help him start to heal from by the end, but the fandom seems to give him this “awww blorbo can do nothing wrong” attitude… I just wish we talked more about his complexities ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

my first time playing deltarune I did the neutral route because i wanted to get stronger but sometimes sparing was easier than making them run away.

the last are are kris, but paws and claws drawn on their sneakers, along with velcro straps bc they can't tie their shoes. heart highlights in their hair along with acne, and a heart pattern on their sweater.
