anyhow, saw a post from a bunch of ppl talking abt stag beetles, and it was contributed to by one of my mutuals (whom ive never talked to) amd i doodled this to add to the post, but then i chickened out and deleted it, so im posting it separately here

So I played with his design

The spots are supposed to represent the "Sun spots". The Sun spots are places on the Sun with lower temperature than the rest of the Sun (mostly because of the magnetic field).

I also didn't just want to make them black spots, so they are similar to another Sun related phenomenon. The northern lights. As the Sun winds collide with the Earth's magnetic field, they create the beautiful sight of the bright, colorful northern lights.
