@anidalaweeks day 1 prompt where Anakin and Padmé get to raise the twins and be happy.... my dream would be to draw a whole comig about this what-if. i didn't have time, so i did a piece that compiles all best memories from our favorite space romeo and juliet!! in my head, in this AU, Anakin leaves the Jedi Order after killing Palpatine and Padmé continues to fight for freedom across the galaxy. Anakin ends up working as a pilot and ativist (and a stay at home dad to). he loves his family dearly, no one tell him Leia will end up dating Han later on.

Mad about s3 of the Mandalorian again.

Din Djarin is a character who is bursting with compassion and a need for companionship, even outright offering a job to someone he had only known for a handful of days. He often works things out peacefully and makes friends literally everywhere he goes. He's reasonably polite and earnestly thankful. He's ready to die and protect people be barely knows.

Din is not shown to have a single friend in his covert. If anything, people seem more antagonistic to him than anything. Throughout for two seasons, we don't even have a spoken NAME of another Mandalorian in his covert.

S3 should've tackled WHY he cares about this covert so much away from "They raised me" because that's... such a hollow reason after he broke the code for love, after gaining friends who back him up 100% and creating a new little family. It would've been so interesting to tackle whether or not Din grew up as an unclaimed Mandalorian child and that's why he doesn't seem to have any friends or family prior to the show.

To me, s3 really needed to answer WHY Din follows this path when presented with other ways to be a Mandalorian. I don't think the answer should be "Oh he realizes they suck and he takes off his helmet teehee", just that it would've been nice to finally learn more about him and complete his arc.

actually I think one of the funniest and most underutilized fix-it possibilities is just giving obi wan a straight-up gun. literally all of star wars could have been fixed if obi wan had a gun
