Good morning, besties. I hope you have been well. It's exam season so I have been pretty busy with all that, as well as Thanksgiving. I hope to be here once things settle down. I love Ailana and want to do all the things with you. In the meantime, I am going to send some memes!

I went on a bit of a following spree, trying to branch out and establish some other verses outside of Star Wars so thank you so any new mutuals, I hope we can do things! I will be doing a write up of some of my Star Trek ideas, and I might rewatch the Chris Pine movies as well. introducing my partner to star wars for the first time is so fun because he's an officer in the military and keeps saying things like "is the imperial ranking system based on the navy or the air force" and "how did han solo enter the ranks as a general when he was functionally a contracter in the last movie" and it's like buddy george lucas literally mixed up units of distance and time while making these movies i promise he didn't even use a single braincell to think about this

I have good news and bad news!

Good news is that I love Ailana and won't be giving up on her anytime soon. I plan to try and be here once in a while to do replies but at this point, there isn't a whole lot going on. That's ok! Female original characters are hard and Star Wars as an rpc is...dying or dead. But it will be nice to have one or two threads reply to when I do pop on. I might be around a little more to send memes and the like, but this blog is in no way a priority (my priority atm is my main blog and homework rip). If you want to keep in touch, I implore you to add me on discord!

Bad news: because there is so little engagement with Ailana, I don't feel like I have the spoons to make hundreds of icons of her. I love her face, I love how unique and beautiful she is, but it's incredibly time consuming and I just don't see it happening for a blog where barely anyone interacts with me. If you do, I see and love you. I might still make edits from time to time or I might just send you pictures hollering about how pretty my girl is. We'll see. As mentioned above, while I will try and be here now and again, it's probably going to look like once every couple weeks rather than every day. If you're not interested in waiting that long for replies or interactions, please let me know. No hard feelings, this blog is just going to be super, super casual atm. This sounds like bad news but is also good news because it will still be more activity than this blog has been receiving now.

If you're still reading this, I love and appreciate you. Ailana is my first Star Wars oc. I am very proud of her and want to show her to everyone. I hope to, in the near future, have a few updates to her verses page (I'm working on something Star Trek related), so if you're interested, please stay tuned!

Some quick ideas for interacting with Ailana! I had this post all written up with better detail and then accidentally deleted it all so these will just be some basic ideas, that I am happy to elaborate on for you!

Ailana is an archivist and librarian under the supervision of Jocasta Nu. She can help you find any and all information in the Temple and it's archives.

Ailana might predominantly work in the archives, she is trained and certified as a Jedi Knight and has the same skills and abilities as everyone else who is in the field. She could stand to be dragged out on an adventure or two!

Ailana did not take a padawan because she isn't a traditional knight, but this could definitely change. I'm happy to explore what she would have been like as a master.

Ailana survived Order 66, though it was especially difficult for her. She went into hiding and spent her time trying to stay under the radar. She might have joined the Rebellion or some other group. Anything post Order 66 can be done with this premise in mind.

Ailana is a long life species and definitely would have made it to the Original Trilogy, and maybe even the Sequels if we really wanted it to work. Please come at her from all eras!
