i used to dream of cataclysmic events like these. the loss of both legs. a sudden blindness. some awful and unique tragedy that would be a way to make sense of me. but now i am in Eskew, and i understand there’s nothing to be explained, i dream of my mother.

This one gave me a lot of trouble; first I tried filling it with people but that messed up the scale, then I tried focusing on the pit but I felt it needed to be somewhat mysterious/unknowable? David never looks into the pit– he is only an outsider watching from the fence line.

hi hi! i made a survey for listeners of TMA, i want to make a video discussing a few things regarding the show + the fan base around it

the survey is mostly for demographics and a timeline of when people got into the show + how theyd rank seasons

depending on the success of the survey (enough people responding) and any patterns i find in answers, i may create a new survey asking specifically for more personal opinions, but for now its fairly basic!

I know that the gallery is supposed to look “normal”. But the description of the gallery as a cavern and a temple was so evocative that I just didn’t do that. I painted the version on the left first but decided it was too elegant and decorative. It didn’t give a good indication of scale– so I redid it as the second one. This episode has so much amazing imagery.

Recently drew Hamid, Sasha, and Grizzop in Newton’s Study for the @rqgzine !

@jonnitweek Day 5: Modern AU!
