I love going on ao3 and looking at the trigger warnings for Will/Hannibal because it's always 'tw: homophobia' like really? Not the murder and cannibalism?

is moving away from ethel specifically and onto her mother instead kinda hard emotionally? since you put so much time and love and care into curating her character (and i imagine putting little pieces of yourself in there with her too), will it feel weird to bury her with the b-sides? or will she only be laid to rest fully when the entire project is said and done?

i do get quite sad often while working on the b-sides. i’ll randomly remember that after everything that happens to her as a teenager, she’ll ultimately go on to live through the events of PD and i go oh…. it doesn’t get better :/ i’m very ready to let her rest and climb up the family tree a ways, i think she’s very tired and i don’t blame her.
