E A R T H

Earth represents strength, grounding, prosperity, the material, wealth, success, foundations, death and rebirth. Focus on this element if the goal of your spell is about fertility, prosperity, business or stability. Earth spells may take longer to work, but they’re also more firm and are good if you’re looking for long-term solutions.

Air represents intellect and the mind, wisdom, knowledge; logic as well as abstract thought, intuition and higher consciousness. If you’re seeking freedom, travels, or to enhance your memory and focus - focus on Air spells! Air is whimsical and amiable, personally I haven’t found it useful for more serious spells, but it does wonders for my studies.

Fire represents energy, passion, purification, love, inspiration, desire, will, courage, power, leadership, sexuality. In spellcraft, focusing on Fire is good for purification, healing and love spells; it’s the best element for quick, strong spells. Although, Fire is fierce in essence, and Fire spells are susceptible - they should be well thought out.

I’ve just discovered my new favorite painter, Vittorio Reggianini - those smarter than myself probably already know of him as an Italian painter from the 1800s who made satin look even satiny-er than satin. I just cannot get over how much he loved painting women who were NOT. HAVING. A. MAN’S. SHIT. 

But there was one hottie that everyone seemed to like, and I can’t blame them…

We get caught up in the President’s over-the-top attacks on all these players: Steele, Ohr, Strzok, Page, et al. We shouldn’t lose the big picture. They’re targeted because they know things that endanger the President. The entire canvas is one vast obstruction of justice, a lawless President trying to escape the grasp of the law and using his powers as President and his outsized megaphone to evade the law, to become something more than a President.

Mr. Gaiman, do you have any advice to spare for a 21 year old who is absolutely terrified of screwing up her twenties so irreversibly that she won't amount to much of anything? I keep reading that your twenties are "the formative period," and that so much of our lives end up defined by the choices we made in that span, and I feel like I'm already royally fucking it up.

That’s why the twenties are formative. You do things, fuck up, deal with the consequences. That’s what forms you. It’s also how you learn and how you grow and how you change. You aren’t meant to go through your twenties (or indeed through any of your life) with it all figured out. Get out there, do stuff, choose the wrong things, fuck up, fix what you can, don’t hurt people if you can avoid it, be kind, and fuck up better and more interestingly next time.
