i desperately need more repressed cas in aus. give that guy an extremely religious upbringing and let him be in complete denial about his sexuality! i want him pining and jealous and having no clue what he's feeling, meanwhile dean is comfortably queer and has been openly dating men for years. let mr. No because the line “all I touch and all I steal” in watching over me is diabolical when you remember Dean has heard that the very touch of him corrupted Cas and he already believes he’s wicked, believes he is just a weapon and that makes him evil. Dean has to learn to live with the idea that he somehow made this angel unclean, unholy and that he has undeniably stolen something from him that he can never give back and it’s made even worse because this is Deans fantasy, Cas free and loving him but truly at what cost? Because it always ends with Cas gone. In Dean’s eyes, he stole everything from Cas and it makes me sick to realize he thinks that even while Cas is telling him that Dean GAVE him something much greater

what IF we had canon Cas meet endverse!Dean?? We got to see Dean vs Endverse!Cas but imagine Cas seeing Dean truly hardened. He realizes they do fuck in that timeline but it can't fix the love that's broken. Broken beyond repair, worse than his own timeline. And he tries to give endverse!Dean some love and praise but he's just doomed

When Cas comes back and sees his Dean making dinner and gruff "where the hell have you been" while waving an oven mitten, he just breaks down

Dean dreams of the lake often. It's a peaceful place that exists in an eternal mid-afternoon, full of warm and gentle sunlight. He always sits on a chair at the end of the little wooden pier, fishing rod in one hand, beer in the other, and feels all the pressures of the waking world fade away.

(Dean's embarrassed to admit that it's his favourite dream.)

But now, ever since that first time Cas did his freaky Dreamwalking thing, he pops in sometimes too. At first Dean tells him to get out and let him fish in peace, but secretly he's glad that Cas keeps coming back. It's kinda nice to have the company.

After a while, another chair appears at the end of the pier.

"Make yourself at home why don't ya," Dean says, rolling his eyes.

"I didn't dream it here," Cas replies gently, sitting down in the new chair beside Dean. "You did."

A little while after that a second fishing rod appears next to the chair. Another beer bottle in the cooler.

Whenever Dean has The Lake Dream it's never long before Cas joins him. Sometimes they don't speak much, sometimes not at all, and sometimes they talk and talk and Dean wakes up feeling even more tired than before. (He feels happy though. He always wakes up smiling.)

Eventually the chairs draw closer together.

Cas asks him why he doesn't dream any fish into the lake, but Dean just shrugs and says that the fish being there isn't the point. Cas stares at him and tilts his head like he doesn't get it. Dean isn't going to explain.

The night after Cas confesses his truth and sacrifices himself, when Dean finally falls into an exhausted, drunken sleep, clutching the bloody handprint close - the chair beside him remains empty. The sunlight has gone, the lake churns dark and deep, and the second fishing rod sits abandoned, propped up against the empty chair.

Dean throws the rod into the lake, kicks the chair in after it, and collapses onto the pier, sobbing alone.

They hadn't even made a splash. Just disappeared like they'd never been there at all.

The reason why I started shipping Sambucky is because Anthony said Sam used to buy lube for Bucky during the Captain America : Civil War press tour.

One of the reasons why I keep shipping Sambucky is because Bucky always put Sam first:

Spiderman is atracking you? Yes, I'll take the fall with you.

Steve came back from the past as an old man? You go see him first Sam.

You're going on a mission I think it dangerous ? I'll miss court-mandated therapy sessions to follow you on that mission.

Ayo tells me to lay low in Wakanda for a while? I'll ask her for one last favor because you need a Captain America suit.

Joaquin is hurt and you need comfort? I'll be there for you even though I have this stupid gala later and I'm in the middle of an election campaign.

For Bucky, it's always Sam first and the rest later.
