Hello all!!!

Since this is my first post and my “art” sucks ahh, lets hope this gets buried by many posts to come…

-I tried to copy a reference artwork of an anime character called “senko” (forgot the original artists name) and since I have no idea of what Im doing Im not doing any justice for the original artist vision 😂

Ive seen a multitude of great artists on this app and I hope to be able to get to their level some day (Our lifespans are short so hopefully its soon) That being said, some tips would be helpful since I have no clue where to bring improving… Everyone says “just draw” but my creativity is equivalent to an AI program that can only do “Yes” and “No” tasks 🫠

-Looking back at my iteration and the reference, I can see that theres a size problem with portions of the hair, head, eyes, and clothing… There is NO confidence in my lines and it shows. Also parts of the hair are completely different because I took the liberty to just do what felt easiest 😑

I used to love art and creativity when I was younger but at some point I started to loathe the hardships that come with them, Ive never been the type to “try” at anything and its done catastrophic damage to me… I guess we’ll just have to see.
