I would definitely not want to be in that situation. I would rather have to drive out of town and see a total stranger or do something online that risk seeing them. I mean, it might have been fun for Sebastian in Cruel Intentions to go after his therapists daughter for laughs but the less I know about them the better in my opinion. That’s usually how it works though, the more you want to avoid something the more you run into it. It works for people and things. I definitely am not trying to let myself overthink much of anything at the moment. There is just too much in my head for all of that. You’re as smart as any scientist that I know. That’s all that really matters. Yes, let’s appreciate the fact it is pretty. I have a potential. I’ve really got to pull the trigger so I can get alterations done if it’s the winner.
Yeah, that's probably true. Unless you end up seeing them out in the wild and then you have to sit across from them at the park or something and wonder about all of the things that you told them behind closed doors, but that's the way life works. It's bound to happen one way or another! I guess the best thing that you can do is just not think about it, not wonder if they're talking about you when they get home at night, since that's only going to make you feel like you're losing your mind. It pretty much is, there's science behind it, but one thing about me: I am not a scientist! I just think that the rainbow is pretty, and I'm okay with focusing on that. Yeah, that's where I'm at. I have a few options bookmarked and some stuff I've seen in local stores, so… we'll see!

“What is life without controversy?” Sunny said firmly. She felt like there was always going to be something and as long as people were happy with what they were doing, it really wasn’t a big enough deal for her to try and change it. “I think the important thing is that you’ve learned something. I mean, shouldn’t we all aspire to be learning things in honor of Pride? Whether it be about Richard Starr or really anything appropriate."
"You know...you're RIGHT. I don't say that often or honestly. It wouldn't be Pride without a fashion faux paus. In fact, dare I say, I think Richard Starr is the most Prideful of us all. I hadn't thought of it that way in the slightest and now I fear you've taught me more about Richard Starr than I ever could hope to pick up on."

There were a million and one things that needed to get done but there weren’t enough hours in the day to do it all. Going to the post office was literally the bane of her existence but there was important mail for the bar that needed to go out to renew licenses and then she had some personal bill as well. Having to wait in a long line to get stamps and have everything sent off about pushed her over the edge. Her phone buzzing with a text from work while she was trying to balance the envelopes was the likely culprit of why she dropped one. Hearing someone talk to her pulled her away from the texts about a delivery gone wrong. “You’re a savior,” she told him. “I’d be in trouble if this one didn’t get paid.”
Who: Jamie Mariadaga-Evans & open!
Where: Post Office
Jamie had been waiting in line at the post office. He had a few packages to drop off for belated birthday gifts and he was sure he had just picked the busiest time of the day to come in. Because it was just his luck that he'd be stuck at the post office for almost twenty minutes at three in the afternoon. His eyes shifted to the ground. "Oh, did you drop this?" he tapped the person nearby after picking up an envelope off the floor.

The goal is definitely to get all bartenders on the same wavelength on their pours but no matter what you do, you’re always going to have people who do their own thing. It’s a good thing for customers who want it but when you actually want to enjoy it, maybe not. I’m just glad for a night off here and there. I’ve been working hard to put something together for the gala. Have you already figured out your outfit?
Who: Open Location: Anchors Away
Now that - that right there just tastes like straight up tequila. I'd say we're starting the summer off right, but damn if that bartender doesn't have a heavy pour. Are you excited for summer? Any fun plans or events you want to crash?

I think that it’s only natural to need someone to tell open up to. I mean, sure – yeah, I think there are a lot of stuff that I’d rather die than pour my heart out to anyone about but it’s healthy to also have out valve to let things out. I feel like sometime it is easier to do that with a stranger who you only see in a clinical way because you don’t have to look at them later and worry about how much they’re judging you. I mean, yeah, I’d probably also stress about the therapist judging me or making me some anonymous client they tell their loved one when they’re laughing about their day but it’s a little less threatening than people I actually care about. I think it’s an optical illusion – the rainbow. We’re never truly going to learn where the end is. We just think we found it and not the gold. I always have a good time. I definitely think nothing is impossible. I’m still trying to think outside the box but I guess we’ll see in the end how it all pans out.
Not very keen on it myself, if I can avoid having to tell someone my life problems, then that's the dream. Not that I have anything against the therapists themselves and the work that they do, or the people who benefit from it, 'cuz hey, go for it. But actively avoiding trying to give myself a reason to get into it. Everyone does, we wouldn't appreciate the good days as much if we didn't have to go through the bad sometimes, right? I've found the end of the rainbow a time or two, like… where it looks like it ends? Never a pot of gold. Normally underwhelming. Very disappointing! I'll stick with the metaphorical end of the rainbow. Hopefully you had a good time! I… wouldn't be surprised if that happens, honestly. Someone saying they're inspired by a seashell and just covering a black dress with them using hot glue.

Sunny wouldn’t consider herself an expert on any of these things but she liked to think of herself as a jack of all trades when it came to knowledge. She had to know a wide variety of things in order to manage small talk at the bar. There were a wide variety of people who would come in and she never knew what the conversations might entail. She liked to be able to hold her own. She normally did though! She was grateful for the moment to just be quiet and hydrate. She couldn’t believe how warm everything was. She needed this extra push to help her get herself in order. “It’s good to look at the whole picture,” Sunny admitted. “I’ve never been a huge fan of being told what I should think or feel about something. I mean, just because the whole village wanted to torch the Beast, didn’t make him a bad guy. I mean, he just pissed off the wrong witch and got cursed but at the end of the day he was alright. Maybe he as a dick to her for a perfectly valid reason.” That was the kind of thing she wanted to know. Disney could really dig deep into those stories. It wasn’t as if half their viewership wasn’t adults anyways. Sunny had her fair share of romantic failures. She’d never been married though. Most of the time, she dragged her feet and missed out on opportunities or missed out on things. She was working on that though. “I appreciate that,” she told the other girl. “I mean, I think that it’s hard to put yourself out there but eventually when it’s the right person you do it. It’s probably less about tests and more about them proving themselves worthy but hey – if that person if out there for you, they’ll show themselves.” That was definitely how she felt about it.
This was the second time Minnie found herself thinking about and borderline debating more classic literature and tales. The last time she thought about anything like this, she had been shoving her way through college. It was nice to revisit those states of mind, although it was most definitely calling attention to the fact that she needed to get back into reading, just so that she could offer better ideas or critiques. So it seemed, the to-do list never found an ending! She sipped at her own flavoured water, having chosen grapefruit for the strength of the citrus and the manner it which it always acted like caffeine waking her up. "Mm. Gosh, that's like. Super deep. I'm never going to watch that the same way. I guess that's why a movie like Maleficent made it so big. It's super interesting to ... I guess dive into it. We always want to know what's a hero and what's a villain. Oh, oh my gosh, like the Batman movies! I haven't thought about those in forever." She also thought it'd be nice to have a crush to be secretive about, but that was neither here nor there. In truth, Minnie still felt a bit head-shy due to her divorce and the messiness which had ensued. Drained coffers and drained emotional bank account. Colour her so tired from that. So she would, instead, be the mainframe of support. "I'm ready for that day! And you will be too. Nobody gets to tell you when or how that is either. I'm most definitely not a pro when it comes to crushes or men choices, sometimes not even people choices, it's a real skill. So honestly, if you already think he's worth his weight in salt, that's good enough for me. I think if I ever get back into it, I'd have to have them pass tests or something." She wrinkled her nose. It would be a surefire way to bring some drama, however tame or otherwise, back into her life, but it was strange to be able to admit she might not be too willing to give that up.

Life was about choices and while some people would make a choice and choose to complain about it, there was really no point to it. Sunny had made the decision to come out there and she was making the most of it but in her own way. At the end of the day, that was all anyone could do. She felt like people deserved to make their own fun whatever it might have been. “I mean, it probably wouldn’t have worked out well for me,” she admitted. “I mean, I’m too delicate to get trampled to death by runners.” That was the likely scenario. Someone would have knocked her down or yelled at her for blocking them from doing what they wanted to do. She wouldn’t have wanted to impede anyone trying to bask in their own athleticism. It worked out well that no one had really impeded her laziness. “I mean, it depends on what the next things is,” she told him raising an eyebrow. She was pretty sure that if Ari really wanted to convince her into doing something, he could. He was one of few people who could. She didn’t think he was going to make her do anything she wasn’t interested in though.
If there was one thing that she wasn’t, it was the kind of girl that often got grabbed and lifted off her feet. Mostly because she was scared of breaking people. She was completely unprepared for her threat to be answered in that way. She squirmed, playfully trying to fight for freedom but once she was settled back on the ground she didn’t put up too much of a fight. “You’re really the worst,” she told him with a smile on her face that made it clear that she definitely didn’t think he was the worse. “I’m sorry. I left all my knives at home. I’ll definitely have to do better. I knew I should have had Stelly help me pack the dungeon up before coming.” Not that there was any actual dungeon or weapons for that matter. Even if there was, Ari was pretty safe. She wouldn’t have hurt him. She smirked at his suggestion. She looked down at her stuff, deciding she could always let one of her other friends pack it up and get it back. “I could be persuaded. It is a little hot.”
From what he could see the blonde was enjoying her time there, even if she wasn't participating. Ari knew not everyone enjoyed doing things like obstacle course -- he was pretty sure at least one of his siblings would have dreaded being dragged along that Ari definitely would have done. Which would have gotten him labeled a torturer for making them come along and train. "Feel like if you attempted to walk that, it would have been far more difficult. Some of those things definitely required you having at least a little bit of speed to get through." He pointed out, but honestly, it probably wouldn't surprise him if someone attempted to walk it and maybe they were still out there walking it. "Lazy huh? So what you're saying is next thing I'm dragging you along for the fun?" Raising a brow not that he'd actually force someone -- outside of his siblings to do anything they didn't want to. Maybe he'd attempt to persuade, because where would be the fun without a little teasing.
Watching her eyes get bigger brought a bit of a darker smirk to his lips. As she raised her water bottle as if it was a weapon and threatened him with it, "Oh, is that a promise?" he asked before shifting to slide around her and get his arms wrapped around her tightly and lift her up off the ground for a moment and spin her slightly. His arms lingers around her, "Too late, I caught you." Not that she had really tried to get away from him. "Think you're gonna have to talk to your water bottle about being a better weapon." As he rested his chin on her shoulder knowing that there was a very good chance that he was about to get sprayed with water and he wouldn't have even minded -- given he was hot and sweaty. "Wonder if they have any place around here to take a dip, wanna come searching with me?"

"We may never know. I mean, it was definitely a choice either way. At the end of the day, we all look great until we look gross. Is it really pride without a fashion faux paus anyways?"
LOCATION: Anywhere WHOMST: Anyone (open, no cap!) WHEN: Anytime
"You think Richard Starr knew that his toupée was on backwards this morning or d'you think was it a stylistic choice? At least he seems excited for Pride this weekend."

I think that is the dream. I mean, who wants to be in therapy for crazy, life altering things. I’d rather have regular run of the mill trauma over the rest of it. I think that in general things are going pretty good though. I think it’s normal to have bad days mixed in with the good. I think that when you start to have more of those then the good is when you really have to start to worry. I’m opting to look for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow though. It’s definitely easier to say what you’d do when you’re not in than when you’re in. The whole thing changes when you’re in the middle of it. I think that’s better to not be disappointed. I’ve been about everywhere. I think that there is so much to be done. I’ve at least got an idea and a start to it. I wonder how many people are going to be using hot glue to make things work for them.
No, no, me neither. I want to go to therapy for normal problems, not "I drove myself to therapy worrying about all the what-ifs" kind of problems, that just seems like a categorically bad idea. But I do think it's perfectly normal to have those bad moments, as long as we don't let them overshadow all the good stuff, too. Or make us not be optimistic about the stuff that matters to us. I wouldn't want to lose that. That's true, it's different when you're just trying to imagine what you would do versus being put in a position where you actually have to figure out what you would do, you know? It would be monumentally disappointing! But it looks like we'll be okay. I'm excited to see what's up, I know I'll probably spend at least a night at Vibrations, but that's nothing new. And the gala looks fun, too, although yeah, definitely going to take some thought and creativity.

Ari (@aridhingra) --
I'm not sure what the protocol is on this so if this is completely out of line, let's pretend like I didn't do this. I wanted to wish you a Happy Father's Day. I hope that you've had a great day with your son.
I got a picture book that I thought you and him might enjoy together. I also got you a new knife because I figured it might come in handy since you're literally always outside.

It’s definitely not a recipe for being clear of mind. While I completely support mental health care, I don’t really want to push myself toward needing it for that reason. I think we all have our moments where we let pessimism sneak in but we simply can’t let it win. I do the best I can to survive. I think that most people don’t know how much they’d actually rise to the occasion if needed. There is no shame in wanting to do something completely different. I mean if something isn’t working then it’s fair to try something new. Pride Weekend getting rained out would be very disappointing. We have so much coming up. I need to start thinking about Ocean Life for the gala. I mean, it’s literally going to be fun to see who gets the most creative.
You'd go absolutely mad if the only things that you ever thought about were the things that could go wrong, right? Not saying you should never think about it, because being unprepared is pretty tough, too, but you don't want to make it your entire life and let it consume you, that's not a good thing. You would, you're resourceful. I feel like if I ever couldn't do this job, anyway, I'd maybe want to just do something completely different? Like, I'm not sure I want to deja vu myself into it feeling the same as the last one, that sort of thing. The forecast for this week looks decent, I'm just hoping the weather holds out for Pride Weekend and we can get out and have a good time. Plus, the carnival, but we've still got a month until that!

Even if she’d never be the queen of the outdoors, she was content to visit it from time to time. If she was actively going to be out in the wilderness, she didn’t want to be cramped up in a cabin. She would have been bored out of her mind without technology. Her mind needed to stay active and watching people participate, train or just laying there watching the clouds go by was far better than doing nothing. She certainly didn’t see the point in going out there and not at least watching. If she’d planned to do that, she would have just stayed home and worked. There was always plenty to do at the bar. She could literally never go home and still have things on her to do list. This was a far better way to spend her time though in her opinion.
She shook her head, knowing full well that the course did require a lot of thing. “I mean, I’m sure some people missed the memo and walked or jogged.” Was there ever a doubt that some people were going to do precisely what they wanted despite clear instructions. He’d successfully finished though and that was good. She sighed dramatically at his teasing. “It’s just such hard work and I’m so comfortable being lazy,” she told him. Her eyes widened as he teased, watching him move closer. She wouldn’t have actually been horrified if he hugged her but she couldn’t just go with it. Not under these circumstances. She raised her own water bottle in a threatening way. “One step closer and you’re going to get it,” she told though. The look on her face was far from menacing though. She might shower him with her water if he tried but she wasn’t that intimidating when she looked like she might break out into a fit of laughter at any moment.
Ari was always going to be someone that enjoyed getting outside, getting a little dirty, or just being generally active. For him, moving his body was always an important thing. Especially given part of his job was being a park ranger, he had to stay at least somewhat physically fit, or he'd suffer with that job in more ways than one. This, however, pushed people to a different breaking point. There were all kinds of physical tasks, it wasn't just running along some course which he had done a multitude of times. But now that it was done and over with, he was glad that there wasn't a round two or anything else that weekend. That the rest of the time would be spent relaxing, general spending time with other fellow Merrockites in the campground area.
Seeing the blonde had taken the time to come out and cheer on her fellow town friends was always a nice thing. Given he was sure some people were just at their cabins enjoying the fresh air, the relaxing, and not having to worry about anything for the next few days. "Well the course did require the running part, or else I would still be out there." He pointed out more out of teasing fun. "Your stalking game is definitely lacking, like -- really bad. Think you should freshen up, try again, see how it goes for you." A laugh erupted from his lips after taking another long drink of the water, wiping his lips, "So you're saying I shouldn't come down there and give you a biiiig hug with all this manly smell? Here I though chicks dug that whole thing now." Giving a roll of his eyes as he lowered himself slightly like he might just do what he said.

Flavoring always made water better not that water alone was terrible but it wasn’t Sunny’s favorite thing in the universe. She was going to be more inclined to want to drink something that tasted like something different all together. Powdered flavor packets were all the rage these days. Sunny would never claim to be a nerd. In school, she’d always been the kind of person who floated between groups. She was smart though and she occasionally found herself pulled toward random things like Bog Monsters. She didn’t want to look like one but that didn’t mean she couldn’t sympathize with it. She doubted the Bog Monster wanted to be a Bog Monster. It probably wanted to just be human. “It’s definitely different in the different adaptations but the original had the huntsman,” she said with a nod. “I think that in general it’s never the alleged monster that is the monster. It’s almost always the person who thinks they’re the hero.” That was the truth in fiction or reality as far as Sunny was concerned. She’d seen plenty of times in real life or in the news. She wasn’t going to overly stress about it at the moment though, especially when she was mostly tired from all of this. It had been a long day and she was honestly just ready to relax and not think. All this work was crazy. She laughed though thinking about Minnie’s comments in context, comparing them to Ari. “I don’t think he’s a homegrown anything singer. I’m not trying to put any sort of curses on it.” She was just going to leave it be because that was the way it needed to be for now. “Maybe at some point, I’ll be able to own my crush in the streets.”
In the end, the fruit flavouring in the water was what Minnie offered to her. They thought that she sounded as though she needed that extra kick to get through the rest of it. And in the meantime, she was considering very seriously what she said about the bog monsters. Most things had to be misunderstood in that way, didn't they? Ugh, not that she wanted to find kinship in how the bog monsters turned out, but here she was. "No, that makes sense. I'm baffled! Oh my gosh, I completely forgot about the original Snow White like that. You know how, like, the Disney movie just completely erases all of that about the Huntsman? Then they brought it back with Kristen Stewart. I was, like, so shocked. So maybe they're the problem and not the Bog Monsters. So long as the Monsters don't get upset that we took away their trash. Or maybe they wanted it gone." This felt like one of those things where you write a story off the cuff aloud in school. They had done this back when she was in middle school and she'd had a great time with it, even if every time she'd volunteered a tidbit of an idea, the other pupils had laughed at her. Eh, so what. She wasn't being laughed at now. It wasn't until she was an adult and in the thicket of intrigue that she understood the difference between at and with. Especially when it came to practical jokes. "Listen, I so get you. Sometimes putting a name to the guy like. Casts a curse spell. We don't want that. Pop around is interesting. That makes him sound like a rock star. Like a homegrown Merrockite country singer who needs his identity hidden. And good for him!" Minnie plucked that out of their own life as well. They'd gone off social media for quite some time now to avoid their own identity being ousted.

I can always count on you. I think that there is definitely a lot of things that could go south in the grand scheme of things owning my own business but I definitely try and not to think about those worst case scenarios. I think we’re doing okay at the moment and I don’t need to go stressing about that. I don’t know that Touchback would be my fallback. I’d definitely have to go and think up something different. Push come to shove I’d figure something out in order to survive. I am sure that they aren’t going to slow anything down. It feels like everything is moving so quickly these days. I’m just going to keep hoping that things work out in the end. There are definitely a lot of places in the world that seem far more advanced than we have it at this point. It’s definitely starting to heat up. I can’t wait to look at all your photos.
Glad to be of service to you and your soul, in that case! That's true, your job is pretty much yours to lose, unless there are drastic other factors that come into play, but I don't think that you need to worry about that happening, either. You should be safe and sound. Well, I can always get you a spot behind the bar at Touchback, you'll just have to catch up on some sports knowledge, but that shouldn't be too hard for you. You're a smart cookie! I'm alright with having more time to figure things out, hopefully they slow their roll on how quickly they try to develop things. I feel like there's been a lot of movies and shows with that concept lately! Years ago, it felt super futuristic, but now… maybe a little too close to home, you know? Like summer time? Although the challenge this weekend was fun, I had a good time taking pictures of everyone participating.

“I think the Bog Monsters are actually friendly with the birds and still feel the sunshine. They’re just misunderstood by humans. That’s why we’re scared of them. The animals aren’t too concerned though. I think Snow White was just legitimately terrified of the Hunter offing her,” Sunny said. It had been a minute since she’d read any fairytales but she remembered something about a plot where the Evil Queen hired a Hunter to off her. That was how she stumbled across the dwarves. That was what she remembered about the story anyways. She may have been wrong about that. They’d done their part, cleaning things up and as far as Sunny was concerned they’d done a great job of it. She nodded at the question about her water. “Regular water is fine but sometimes I need something a little extra to help get the job done,” she admitted. “Not all flavors are created equally.” There was absolutely no way, she was going to spend all this time outside without it. She would have been absolutely dying if she’d been out there with nothing to drink. She would have been thirsty in general but she was especially so after all the work. She needed to get right to continue with all of this. “I don’t know,” she said about whether the other girl knew the guy she’d mentioned. “He’s been known to pop around. It’s a … I don’t know. Kind of a thing but not a thing yet. Just a guy. I’m not going to name him.” She didn’t want to embarrass herself if she was completely misreading everything. Maybe she’d say more down the line when and if it was appropriate. She could appreciate friends who looked out for other friends when she was pretty sure she looked horrible though.
"Gosh, and if we become weird bog monsters, then we're going to chase away all of the birds and not feel any of the sunshine. It's like when in Snow White, she's running through the forest and everything is super weird and she can't stop screaming. That better not be us by the end of this." At least they managed to muck out of the river and leave the majority of it behind. Minnie grabbed a bottle of water, then belatedly realised they should remove their glove. They did so for Sunny's bottle of water. "Ooh, these are flavoured. You a fan of flavoured water? Like, right now to me, it sure doesn't matter. I don't care what I drink." Earlier on, she had partaken of wine, but that didn't seem like a good idea. It dehydrated you. Both brows quirked immediately up, and they had to pause to make sure they swallowed their water instead of spewing it back out. That was not a comedy scene either of them needed to experience. So she seized packets of electrolytes and went ahead and dissolved them in the water bottles by shaking them. "We should be set for life. But wait a second, you didn't tell me about a guy you're hanging out with. Have I met him? Is he a neighbour? Oh my gosh, is he like a work regular? What kind of thing would he be doing?" The questions come from all sides, their genuine excitement for Sunny overriding all other reason or order. There would be no worry of looking clean in any photos, and if someone had his eye on Sunny, then dang it, Minnie would make sure that the image wasn't broken and that no pictures of them ended up in the paper. These things were very important.

Sunny could appreciate people pushing themselves when it came to physical activity. She had never been overly athletic though. When it came to obstacle courses and running, she was going to sit it out. That didn’t mean that she wasn’t going to go out and watch everyone else do their thing. She was quite content to sit and join the others who weren’t participating but were watching their friends or family take everything on. She’d set up a blanket on the grass and spent her day drinking cool drinks and some people successfully navigate the course and others fail. Occasionally she’d cheer on people as they passed, if they were her friends or if they needed it. In general, the little group that had formed on the sidelines had built a sense of camaraderie as they enjoyed watching the event.
A smile formed on across her face as she saw the familiar face of Ari, coming toward her. “I’m sitting here innocently, you’re the one who’s been doing all the running,” she remarked from her spot. She watched him down the hydrate, making a face at just how dirty he head. “If you’ve had time to miss me, I might have to step up my stalking game,” she mused. She had missed him and it was easy to tease him. “I’ve definitely been enjoying the view and cheering you on. I’m afraid if you want more time with me, you’re going to need a shower. I can smell you from here.”
WHO: Ari Dhingra & @sunnynardelli
WHERE: Post Challenge
WHEN: May 2025
Getting out into the field, being able to compete, more with himself than anyone else on the field. Sure, he knew that several were competing against everyone else, that was the main point, but for him it was about pushing himself to do his best. He hadn't run any kind of obstacle course or marathon in quite sometime. As he made his way through the different tasks, some far harder, others easier Ari definitely found himself glistening in sweat, mud flaked and caked in different areas, but he felt good. By the time he crossed the finish line and slowed himself, taking deep breaths to allow the oxygen to refill his lungs. Hands on his knees he glanced up before spotting the familiar blonde hair, the glint of the sun almost illuminating it. A smile pulled to his lips as he straightened himself up, doing his best not to limp from all the running.
"We keep running into each other." A smirk tugging to his lips as he leaned against the barrier where those who weren't running could just watch. "Gonna start thinking you're following me, Sun." It really was just a joke as he accepted a bottle of water that was being passed to him. "Decided to be a cheerleader this go around." His breathing still heavily sated, "It's good to see you." Things had been busy over the last few weeks, but he'd admit he missed spending time with the bubbly blonde, and he hoped, somewhere inside, maybe she did too.

Everyone had a place that they loved to spend their time. Spending the time in a kitchen, coming up with new recipes seemed a particularly useful way to spend one’s time, especially when it helped with business. “I think that’s allowed,” she said with a laugh. Honestly as far as she was concerned, she could do whatever she wanted. As long as she was content doing that, she wasn’t going to stop her. It worked out well for her in the end, getting to test everything. “I personally like things that are tart,” she admitted. “It’s a matter of who are you trying to please. The people who want something milder or people who like that pop of flavor.” There was a time and a place for everything. “I think that everyone has different taste buds. It’s good to have options for everyone. I mean, that’s what I do at the bar with specials. You stick to some classics for the people who aren’t adventurous and then you throw in bolder stuff for people who are looking to try something new. It all evens out in the end.” She listened and nodded at the mention of a special. “I’m sure that would go over well. You should do it!”
Rather she was inside the bakery kitchen or at home, she spent countless hours there. She was always up for something new and trying new recipes just because free will existed. “Only sometimes.” She had been up very early and the day wasn’t even over yet. “Oh good, I know things that are too tart can be overkill.” Naomi replied, never wanting to make it feel like you should just eat a bag of candy instead. “You’d be surprised. Some people like plain, which is okay but it can get boring least for me anyway.” She had appreciated Sunny’s input. “I thought about doing a dozen’s box for Mother’s Day so we’ll see. I am trying to keep favorites from last year’s menu while still providing new options.”
