Seven lines from the chapter of Nerium Oleander that is going to give me gray hairs as I edit because what kind of detective story can be lacking a chase scene? Certainly, not this one (or maybe yes, we'll see when the edition is over)

The chase is thrilling but the surroundings are blurry, the sweet smell of cotton candy overwhelms him, it's nauseous, sickly sweet as he pushes away the onlookers that stay on his path. With heavy breaths, he stretches out his hand trying to grasp onto the man, but he's faster than him, a sleazy snake that eludes from his reach.

Yes, you are! It's an open AU and in fact, I kind of encourage it because all the OCs I put up there (with the exception of Suzie and Wilfred, of course!) are all placeholders. But I recommend either DMing me or waiting until I get around to uploading the updated lore because I have been slowly developing it some more behind the scenes LOL but overall, just credit me and you're free to do as you like !! 🫶

How is this even bullying? They’re being disingenuous to frame it like that 😵‍💫 all you did was set a boundary as it relates to your own art, to be rude and dismissive about it, to bring it up a month later as is you were being aggressive about it. You did nothing wrong!

At this point, I just have to laugh. "Sending anon hate"?? Who?? If they're receiving/received anon hate over liking HH then I'm really sorry to hear it, but besides that original ask I've never sent an ask to anyone about this. What the hell 😭

I think you're totally in the right for setting a boundary, it really sucks that boundaries are seen as laughable or dumb on the internet nowadays. Also unrelated but I wanted to say that your art is really cool, especially the way you draw Suzie!

you'll be better off blocking people who like hh, you cant really control who interacts with you or what posts they reblog with a DNI style situation. it's def not great! but i think this one is on you to block people and tags until you feel safe, which you should be allowed to have.

Yes, I agree. I blocked the original reblogger back when it first happened, and then this person just now. It just pisses me off that I was setting a boundary and these people still feel the need to come here and talk about it, especially when this happened a while back. Maybe they didn't like the way I said it? Who knows. I know I tried to be polite and that's enough for me. And like I said, I was already in a bad mood to begin with so that's probably why I responded. Sorry about all that >_<

I was setting a boundary. For some reason, online culture requires people to air out their dirty laundry in order to be taken seriously, so for me, someone who hurt me very, very deeply loved the fuck out of HH so now every time I see it, it reminds me of them. The content in it is also triggering for me as a whole. Does that suffice? I meant this ask wholeheartedly but you and that original reposter seem to think it was done passive-aggressively. I didn't plan on responding, but I woke up in a terrible mood today so yeah, no. And because it bears repeating, I was setting a BOUNDARY. Please never interact with me ever again.

I know we talk about having the confidence of a mediocre white man but this level of unearned audacity is unreal lmao

Did I do something to earn this hostility? I'm just not very good at handling unwanted attention and the case you were referring to fell along my personal definition of that. God forbid someone gets uncomfortable with something. This also happened maybe a month ago. Why bring it up now?
