OUATS // Chapter Three
Tumblr media
Summary: After checking Dabi out on Twitch, Hawks gives in to his followers request for a collaboration with the gamer. Soon enough the two are streaming together pretty regularly. Neither has any clue where the whole thing is headed.
They’re just along for the ride.
Chapter Title: The One Where Hawks Visits His Family
Note: REBLOGS > LIKES. I’m sorry but that’s the truth. Liking a post on this site does nothing to help the creator. Please reblog! Also, I ADORE every comment I get. I cherish them because, sadly, not many people leave them anymore. So if you want to say something about it, please do!
Warnings/Content: Swearing, thirsty behavior. Nothing else I can think of. (If I missed anything, let me know.)
Note: Due to the excessive language on Touya’s part, I’ve had to ‘censor’ the streamer’s language so that this post could actually make it to the tags. So annoying. So anything with a * right after it was changed to the censored edit. Might have to do it with all cursing in general. If you want to read it in its true, uncensored glory, I’d urge you click the link below and read on AO3.
Read on A03.
Outline | Chapter One | Chapter Two | Chapter Three
———–
Tumblr media
Keigo couldn’t help the little chuckle that escaped him upon seeing the email back from the Twitch streamer. The chuckle morphed into a deep laugh once he opened the email and read the other’s reply.
Tumblr media
“This guy is hilarious,” Keigo said to himself. And, of course, that only made him that much more attracted to the Twitch gamer.
Crap. *
Dang*, he really needed to work on not falling for any and all hot guys who entered his sphere of influence.
This was just a business venture. One he had sought on a whim but a business venture nonetheless.
He could be professional.
He could!
Well… he could try to be, anyway.
Keigo copied and pasted the other’s number, adding the other male to his contacts list. He then grinned, opening up a new text message as he typed his introductory text to the other.
He didn’t have to wait long for a response. The gamer replied back, sarcasm dripping from his words. It was typically difficult to really know the tone of text correspondence. With Dabi, however, there was no question.
The two continued to text back and forth, Keigo wondering if the other guy meant to seem so flirty or if it was purely accidental.
Pushing the thought out of his mind, Keigo saw the text that gave him a list of games he could pick from. He assured Dabi that he would Google them and get back to him if any of them sounded like something he’d enjoy.
As much as he wanted to keep talking (and flirting) with the other, Keigo really needed to head out. His run was not going to run itself, after all. He informed the other of his plan and could only laugh at the other’s response.
Maybe, one day, he would be able to talk Dabi into going on a morning jog with him. The Instagramer was pretty certain such a notion was a pipe dream but that didn’t keep him from wishing it could happen.
Pushing thoughts of both Dabi and their future stream out of his head, Keigo got ready and headed out for his run.
———–
Keigo pulled up to the curb outside his parents’ house. Grinning, he headed inside, calling out to his family.
“Hey-o! Anybody home?”
“Hello, brother.”
Keigo would have thought he was over the way his brother seemed to materialize out of nowhere but he had been sorely mistaken.
“Oh my god! Fu—Jesus! Fumikage. Bro. My dude. You really have to stop doing that or you’re going to give your favorite brother a heart attack.”
A grin slipped onto the goth teen’s face. “You mean my only brother… and an adopted one at that.”
Keigo made a face and grabbed at his heart like he’d been stabbed.
“Ouch,” he gasped but then grinned. “All the more reason I should be your favorite.”
Fumikage’s eyes glinted with amusement. “If you say so.”
Keigo pulled up to his full height of five-foot-five inches. Unfortunately, he only had three inches on his quickly growing younger brother so not really all that intimidating.
But hey. He was well versed in pretending.
“I do say so,” he said with a little sniff.
Fumikage laughed at that and moved over to him, giving him a hug. Keigo returned it before patting the teen on the back.
“What brings you over?” Fumikage asked, following Keigo into the kitchen. The older male shrugged as he opened the door to the fridge.
A smile jumped onto his face at the little six pack of his favorite coffee energy drinks. Fumikage looked over his shoulder and snorted.
“She still buys them for you.”
Keigo snorted at the other.
“She knows me so well.”
Keigo took one of the plastic rings and, as an afterthought, held it out to his little brother in offering.
Fumikage hesitated. “I really shouldn’t. My body is my temple and that’s not good for it…”
Keigo rolled his eyes.
“I think your temple can handle a little sugar and caffeine, lil’ bro.”
Fumikage frowned but took the offered drink in the end. Keigo beamed as he grabbed another one before shutting the fridge door.
“Very well. Thank you.”
“Any time, Fumikage. Any time.”
Together the two continued to chat as they enjoyed the coffee.
———–
“Wait. So you’re gonna do a collaboration with this gamer from Twitch?”
Keigo nodded, following his younger brother up to his room. “Yeah. I’ve already been texting him. He seems funny.”
“In denial again, I see.”
Rather than dignify such a statement with a response, Keigo huffed as he moved into the room, immediately hurrying to Dark Shadow’s cage. One of the crow’s eyes was immediately on him and he laughed.
“Definitely no sneaking up on you,” the Instagramer said, praising the bird’s awareness of his surroundings. The bird preened and Keigo could only laugh. He had a feeling the bird knew exactly what he was saying. Crows were ridiculously smart like that.
“Ugh. Please don’t give him a big head,” Fumikage begged. “I only just got him to stop nipping at me when I don’t call him ‘pretty boy’. You are undermining my training, Keigo.”
“Training? Psh. Obviously, this handsome genius of a companion is above training.”
The bird let out a trill before squawking at Fumikage.
“See! There he’s saying 'you should listen to your much cooler and hotter older brother’.”
The goth teen groaned while Keigo laughed deeply.
“Fine. Traitor.”
Suddenly, a blur of two somethings was tossed at him, hitting him squarely in the chest.
“Oof.” Keigo caught them, a little dazed to see they were the heavy duty gloves Fumikage used to be able to hold Dark Shadow.
“Since you guys are thick as thieves now, you can give him his wing exercises while I figure out dinner.”
Keigo feigned an insulted sort of gasp. “You act like it’s such a chore. I’d be honored to help out this gorgeous creature. Besides, us birds of prey gotta stick together.”
His little brother’s over exaggerated eye roll did nothing to deter the older male. After all, Keigo was the one who had perfected it.
———–
Keigo realized he probably shouldn’t have commented on what a lack of a chore exercising Dark Shadow actually was. When he came back from the large backyard panting, Fumikage just laughed as he got up and crossed to the cage. Opening it, he watched as Keigo joined him, setting Dark Shadow on his perch.
Closing the door once Keigo pulled his arm out, Fumikage grinned as his crow trilled, eyes closing and opening slowly.
“Awww. He really likes you. Guess you’ll just have to come over more often to see him. Yeah, he should. Shouldn’t he, Dark Shadow?”
The black bird cawwed his agreement. Keigo snorted as he pulled the gloves off and set them to the side of Dark Shadow’s cage.
“Oh? I see. Pitting my new bestie against me. Cold.”
Fumikage, used to his teasing, just snorted.
“Yep. You’re Dark Shadow’s slave now. Just accept it.”
Keigo broke out laughing at that, Fumikage joining him after a few seconds.
Keigo sighed happily as he caught his breath. He hadn’t laughed that good in a while.
It’s good to be home, he thought.
———–
“Are you getting enough to eat, Keigo?”
Keigo laughed and nodded.
“Yes, mom.”
Keigo smiled at her warmly from his old seat at the table. Fumikage sat at his right and both of their parents sat across from them. Mrs. Tokoyami had made Keigo’s favorite: yakitori.
“I am truly spoiled,” Keigo informed them all as he took two more pieces, promising himself to take it easy on his diet the next few days. He always had to the next few days after visiting his folks.
“We’re very aware, son,” his dad said, voice serious. If Keigo didn’t know them, it would have been very unclear if Mr. Tokoyami found anything remotely amusing. Keigo did know them, however. The happy and warm glint in those dark eyes, shining out from behind a pair of rectangular glasses, told the truth. This was his father’s way of laughing deeply.
It made Keigo’s heart so happy to see it. Even happier to know that he had caused it. That he could still cause it.
His folks had often said that it was he who had brought humor into their hearts and lives.
Keigo loved knowing that he had such a super power. He loved having parents and a brother who supported him and loved him and wanted the best for him even more.
He knew he couldn’t have done what he loved without his parents and little brother in his life.
———–
“So what’s this we’re hearing about a collaboration?”
It was just after dinner and Keigo was helping with cleaning up as his mom packed him some leftovers to go. Fumikage had gone to shower. Keigo had mentioned the plans for the collaboration during dinner but hadn’t gone into too much detail.
He glanced over to his dad, who had asked the question and was drying the rinsed dishes Keigo passed him. Though he couldn’t see her, Keigo could sense his mom was listening intently as well.
“Oh. Well there’s not too much to tell right now. The guy… Dabi… Well, that’s not his actual name, at least, I don’t think it is. But, anyway, it’s what he goes by online. He has a gaming channel on Twitch and is pretty popular. Some of my followers wanted us to do a collaboration and since I’m just starting out with the whole YouTube thing, that will help me. But he’s gonna get plenty out of it as well. My followers have made it clear that they want this and since it’ll be on his channel, he’ll get a lot more traffic to it.”
“So he’s likely to get more supporters because of this collaboration?”
Keigo beamed. They didn’t always really understand his fascination with the internet and being popular on it, but they found the littlest ways to make it clear that, no matter what, they supported him.
Not for the first time, Keigo felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude toward them. Before he lost his nerve, the blonde hugged his dad tight around the middle and beamed at his mom. His dad said nothing, stiffening at the hug at first before relaxing into it with a pat on the back.
Pulling away, he just smiled again. He wanted to thank them for always being there but when he looked from one face to the other, he realized that they already knew how much he appreciated them.
“Uh, yeah so. Basically this collaboration will be beneficial to the both of us.”
His dad smiled proudly and his mom’s smile spread warmth throughout his body.
“You’ll have to let us know when it is, so we can watch.”
Keigo could only smile and nod.
———–
It wasn’t until Keigo had gotten home and put his leftovers up that he considered the gamer’s last text message.
Pulling up Google on his phone browser, Keigo took his time looking into each one. Ultimately, he made his choice.
Opening the text message once more, Keigo texted the other. He only had to wait a couple minutes for a response.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As soon as he sent it he called himself several different kinds of idiot. He watched as the little ’…’ notification started and stopped a few times.
Keigo’s fingers itched to type something, anything, that could possibly fix this. Luckily, he needn’t have worried.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Keigo flushed at the last message from the gamer. For all that Keigo was positive it wasn’t, that particular response seemed extremely flirtatious.
But by now, he had a pretty good picture of what Dabi was like. Flirting so openly didn’t seem like something he would do. Especially not so suggestively.
Clearing his throat, Keigo settled on a response.
Tumblr media
Keigo couldn’t stop grinning as the conversation progressed. He bit his lower lip self consciously as he considered how to respond.
Looking back over the conversation, he was certain they were both just teetering on the edge of flirty and not. Part of Keigo really wanted to push them over it but another part of him was certain that if he did, it might very well spook the other man.
Keigo really didn’t want that.
Deciding he’d behave for now, he settled for compromise to wait until seeing how they interacted in person before allowing himself to completely fall.
A smile tugging over his lips, Keigo responded back.
Tumblr media
He chewed at his lower lip as he waited. It wasn’t even a minute later when the other responded.
Tumblr media
A smile slipped over Keigo’s lips and it stayed there as he reread the last two words a few times.
After the sixth time reading it and feeling the heat sink into his cheeks, the blonde groaned.
Embarrassed and frustrated though he was, Keigo was also a little impressed with himself.
He’d never before gotten a crush on a guy before he’d met them.
Well, there was a first time for everything he supposed.

Once Upon A Twitch Stream // DabiHawks
Title: Once Upon A Twitch Stream
Acronym: OUATS
Alternate Universe: Social Media. Human/Quirkless.
Genre: Slow Burn Romantic Comedy. Enemies to Friends to Lovers.
----
Touya Todoroki // 22. Gay.
Known online as Dabi, the alias he gave himself.
BlueArsonNightmare is his gamer tag and the name of is Twitch Channel.
Fans often shorten it to BAN or BlueArson as it's way too long to type out all the time. (Damn you, Dabi.)
Dies his hair black because fuck you sperm donor. (Naturally red when he was born/younger just like his abusive father's. Fuck you, Enji Todoroki. Turned white as he got older which he didn't mind because it matched his mother's but black just fits his image so much better.)
Plays a lot of horror games. Resident Evils are a favorite. Also plays some Minecraft when in the mood.
Is responsive to the stream chat but can roast his fans. (They seem to enjoy this though, the masochists.)
His sister has a YouTube channel she talks on and cooks on. She's almost as popular as Dabi. Dabi sometimes gets talked into joining her videos. Sometimes with Natsuo and Shouto. Sometimes alone.
He'll never tell her but he sometimes plugs her channel to his fans. Off the cuff, could care less sort of way, but deep down he wants to help her succeed.
Very nearly threatens violence (as far as he can get away with on Twitch) to anyone who says anything suggestive about her though. They don't always get along but that's still his sister, fuck you.
Very rarely does "just taking" streams but when he does he gets a massive viewership on the stream and often ends it with a handful more subscribers. He always lets them know they are appreciated but in his own way. (It never sounds very nice but the fans understand.)
Resents Shouto for being the favorite of the family but now that he's out on his own he can see the strain on his youngest brother and they are working to restore their relationship.
Often "kidnaps" his brother when things are obviously too much for him but Shouto's too damn stubborn to walk away himself. The moron (said with a bit of affection).
Has vitiligo in the shape of his canon scars. Usually covers them with foundation. He is a bit self conscious of them but more so worried he'll lose followers/subscribers if he doesn't cover up.
Hawks will help him find the courage to embrace it, even online.
Keigo Takami // 22. Pan.
Known online as Hawks, the alias earlier fans gave him.
HawksSighting is his Instagram handle. He uses this username across all his social media accounts.
Has verified Instagram and Twitter accounts, which he is very proud of.
Recently entered the world of YouTube vlogging as well. Already had a ridiculous amount of subscribers and he only has two videos up so far. HawksSighting is the name of his YouTube channel as well.
Got a huge set of red wings he bought on impulse because they looked as real as a set of fake wings could look and they move and shift using pull strings.
Started wearing them on his sponsored posts and in his Instagram stories on a dare.
Fans loved it so much they started calling him Hawks. Thus his brand was created. He now wears the wings 90% of the time.
Started off his Instagram like normal users but people quickly realized how attractive he was and how hilarious and flirty he was in his stories. Got a following that urged him to look into sponsors.
Keigo's parents were abusive (father) and negligent (mother). He was taken away by Social Services at 10. Was in the system until he was placed in a good foster family at 13. The family was the Tokoyami's.
The Tokoyami's already had a son but were happy to help out this kind and thoughtful but struggling teen. In their family with strict but supportive and loving guardians and a quiet but introspective and intelligent younger brother, Keigo thrived. A year later, they adopted him into the family.
He doesn't know why but he chose not to take their last name. Perhaps wants to make a good legacy out of the Takami name.
Also uses his Instagram as a way to help out his adoptive brother Fumikage's photography. It's really amazing work and he loves to show it off. He also sometimes models for his brother's profile.
Due to his brother's love for dark, introspective things, and running off the gag of his own fan given nickname, Keigo starts calling Fumikage "Raven". It's a shout out to the Edgar Allan Poe poem we all know and love.
The nickname stuck and though Fumikage grumps about it, he's secretly pleased, and Keigo knows this.
Miscellaneous Plot Points
Fumikage has a pet crow. Technically, it is illegal in Japan to own one unless you have a valid reason and register for a permit.
The crow was one that was found as a young crow and Fumikage nursed it back to health.
They tried to release it back into the wild but the bird had imprinted on Fumikage and so they were able to get a permit.
That crows name is, you guessed it, Dark Shadow. :D
Thanks to @sunshineandteddybears for helping me brainstorm this idea.
Shoto also has vitiligo instead of his scar and is why his hair is two toned. Rei, Natsuo, and Fuyumi have it too but only their hair.
----
Alright! As promised, here is the plot outline for my DabiHawks Social Media AU!
Let me know what you guys think! I'm excited to see your thoughts! :D
I really hope you guys are as excited for this AU as I am.
Be sure to follow the tag "OUATS AU" for all updates and stuff about this AU.

Outline | Chapter One
-----------
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Keigo grinned at the comment from his follower. He had told them (he had a feeling they were female, as most of his fans were, but one should never assume) that he would check out the guy. The thing was, he hadn’t actually planned on following through. He was a busy man, after all. Instagram posts and stories and promotions weren’t going to just make themselves, after all.
In the end, however, Keigo was a fan of hot men and his curiosity got the better of him. Pulling up Google, he entered the gamer’s tag name and clicked search. He was instantly given several thousand pages of links as well as a preview of quite a few pictures of a guy with black hair and startling blue eyes lined with black.
“Mmm. He is pretty hot. Thanks, sassycohort,” he murmured to himself as he scrolled down to reach the first result that wasn’t sponsored. This was the link to the man’s Twitch channel and so he clicked it.
The page was, he supposed, pretty uniform among twitch streamers save for color themes. This guy had gone with blues. “I guess we know what his favorite color is…” Keigo laughed to himself. He checked out the title of the videos and came to the conclusion that this particular gamer really loved his first person shooter style games. Also horror games.
Interesting. Keigo looked through the titles and found one that didn’t sound completely boring. Or jump-scary. Pulling it up, he watched the playback of an old stream and, immediately, his attention was on the little screenshot of BlueArsonNightmare. Dabi, he reminded himself.
Dabi in the video was laughing in amusement at something said in the chat that Keigo missed as he wasn’t really paying attention to anyone but the man. He couldn’t stop himself from laughing along with him. His voice was really nice too. The words he said, however, not so much.
In a way, it sounded a little crazy… but there was still a fond warmth to the words that made them seem almost… nice? He snorted to himself, rolling his eyes.
Well, he had checked him out like he had said he would. He backed up to the results and was about to close out when another link caught his attention.
Twitch Gamer BlueArsonNightmare has a Famous Father! Find out who it is!
Keigo pursed his lips together.
He really hated clickbait. So much. Usually because they always got him. He couldn’t help it. Clickbait titles were just so intricately woven that it tugged listlessly at his curiosity until he just had to figure out what it was about.
Unfortunately, the answer was usually so woefully unsatisfying.
He scanned the site the article was from and hummed. Buzzfeed. Well, maybe not clickbait then. Buzzfeed had its moments, sure, but usually it was pretty solid.
Clicking the link, he pulled it up and his jaw dropped.
Enji Todoroki of The Endeavor Agency.
This guy’s dad was Enji Todoroki?
Lucky guy.
Taking a moment to check out the picture of Enji, Keigo couldn’t help but grin lightly. The man was quite attractive himself and had just given him the best idea.
Taking the link for the article, Keigo quickly opened his camera and checked himself in the viewfinder. He looked good, if not a little bedheady, but it looked good on him so he didn’t care. Pressing record, he flashed his signature grin.
“Hey, Baby Birds! Sorry for not wearing the wings right now but I had to do this quickly as I’ve got somewhere to be. Just a shout out to one of my fabulous followers, sassycohort, who let me know about a certain Twitch Gamer who calls himself Dabi. Hope I’m saying that right. Anyway, I checked him out and you are sooo right, babe! He is hella fine. However, were you guys aware that his dad is Enji-freaking-Todoroki? Yeah. Gotta say… BlueArsonNightmare is scary hot—” He laughed at his little pun. “—but I guess it’s really true when they say ‘the apple doesn't fall far from the tree’ because his dad is a total DILF. Yeah, you know I’m right. Anyway, if you wanna check out the article, swipe up. Thanks again, Baby Bird! Until next time, Hawks out!”
He finished the video and brought up the app on his phone, quickly uploading the video and adding the link. He named it Hot Guy Summer before making the final edits and posting it.
There. Thanks to sassycohort he’d done an extra post that day which meant he had time to himself.
He might have said he had somewhere to be and while he really didn’t, technically he wasn’t lying. He really felt the need to be at home.
Closing up his laptop, Keigo headed to the kitchen for some lunch before camping out in his living room. Eating, he began to binge watch some shows he’d left alone for far too long.
-----------
If Keigo had thought that the comment and the resulting Instagram story would be the end of it, he'd been terribly wrong. His video views and replies to it had exploded. He was amused at first, responding to a few comments here and there but he quickly became surprised when they continued to keep on about the gamer.
Keigo supposed he couldn't blame them. He'd even gone back to his channel from time to time to watch a live stream, so long as it wasn't a horror game. He found he really liked the guys confident and sarcastic persona. It suited him a lot better than a cutesy or a serious or even a flirty one.
For weeks at least a handful of his followers would bring the guy up: ask if he was watching the live stream (he hadn't been but now he certainly was), ask him what his favorite part about Dabi's look was (he told them he didn't like to rate parts about people but his thoughts screamed eyes), and a few even agreed about the dad, causing some argument war over who was better—dad or son? (Keigo wasn't sure yet but he was kinda leaning toward the son, now that he'd seen more of him. Still the Daddy vibes Enji Todoroki's whole look gave off was still very appealing.)
The comment that had him baffled, however, was the one suggesting that he and Dabi should collaborate. Once that comment was posted, so many of his Baby Birds agreed. He tried to laugh it off ('you never know') but his mind kept coming back to it.
It wasn't a horrible idea, honestly. Maybe even a good one. After all, he'd only recently started his YouTube channel and hadn't had nearly enough ideas for content yet. If he could score a collaboration with one of the top Twitch Streamers… Well, it would definitely help jump start his channel.
Of course, Dabi would get something out of it too. His whole army of Baby Birds would definitely tune in to the guy's channel. He'd likely get a lot of followers and a handful of subscribers out of it. Definitely a win-win.
It was settled then. He would reach out to Dabi with his proposal for collaboration.
Now if only he could find a way to contact the guy.
-----------
It had taken him three days to find an email for business inquiries. He knew he could have asked his followers or messaged him on Twitch but to do that he'd have to make an account. He might give in and make one later but right now it was too much trouble. Besides, though he was pretty sure Dabi wouldn't care about formality, Keigo felt it was for the best.
He had found the link to Dabi's Twitter on his Twitch and found the business inquiry email. The moment his eyes read the email itself, he couldn't stop laughing. The email was [email protected] and while he didn't exactly understand the reason for it, the message was clear.
Dabi hated his father.
"Hmm," he murmured. He found himself wondering what Enji had done to cause his son to create such a rancorous email. He allowed himself to speculate but doing so hit a little too close to him. He himself had been abused by his biological parents but he'd lucked out when the Tokoyami family decided to take him in. First as a foster kid and then adopting him.
Pushing his curiosity away, Keigo highlighted and copied the email before pulling up his own Gmail account. Opening a new email, he pasted Dabi's email address into the To field. Sitting back, staring at the empty body of the email, Keigo thought how best to word his suggestion.
After a few moments of contemplation, he began typing. Looking over the email, he mouthed the words silently as he read.
Yes… that will do very nicely, he decided. He then added a professional but compelling subject.
He looked over it once more.
Tumblr media
"Perfect." He pressed the send button and then clapped his hands together. That was that. Now he just had to wait.

40 kiss prompt shindeku?
@nevermindimsleeping -- So this is my very first BNHA fic. Thank you so much for the cute prompt request. I only hope you enjoy it and that I've done it and this ship justice! Let me know what you think.
-----
Kisses Prompts // #40 - ShinDeku
A gentle kiss that quickly descends into passion, with little regard for what’s going on around them.
Chaos.
Utter chaos.
Shinsou didn't know where to look or what exactly he should be doing. No one could really blame him. While many of Class 1-A and even Class 1-B had been in actual fights against villains, Shinsou was completely green.
Not to mention, like his mentor Mr. Aizawa, he didn't really have a quirk that translated well into chaotic battle. He would likely do much better in an underground capacity, just as the erasure hero did.
Still, here he was right in the center of an unexpected attack and he couldn't really afford to just stand around and wait for someone to tell him what to do. He decided that he would do best on the outskirts of the battle, picking off any villains that might decide running away was the best option.
The only thing Shinsou felt he really had going for him was that, unlike Midoriya and Bakugou and the others, none of the villains knew his quirk. That would make things easier.
To an extent, anyway.
Moving back, Shinsou did his best to swallow down the feeling that he needed to be doing more. He reminded himself that none of them would appreciate him getting in the way… or worse, getting caught or hurt. Instead, he chose to watch the fighting closely, scanning for any places where he might be able to be a support rather than a burden.
Unfortunately, his scanning turned into Shinsou seeking out the very last person he should be seeking out at that moment.
Dark violet eyes locked on a short form decked out in green, quite nearly head to toe. The brainwashing hero watched as his friend jumped and spun and dodged and attacked at one villain after another.
Though he was worried about all of his classmates and yearmates, the gnawing in his gut was due to Izuku Midoriya and Izuku Midoriya alone.
Scoffing at himself for even letting his feelings get involved at such an inappropriate time, Shinsou forced himself to look elsewhere. He had sharp eyes and if someone was in trouble he could use his capture gear to assist or get them to safety in moments.
He wished the battle wasn't so chaotic. If it wasn't, he could allow himself to get closer with no fear of being in the way. Then he could listen to the voices of the villains and use his voice modulator accordingly.
He sighed, continuing to hold his position.
That was, until something caught his eye.
Shinsou's gaze honed in on the movement and what he saw had his stomach dropping. Midoriya had missed his mark and hit hard concrete with a sickening crunch. Only to stand and try again but this time the new villain was ready for him and threw him hard into a low bearing cement wall.
And of course that idiot got up as if he was going to go at him again but it was clear that the battle and the villains he'd already fought had severely worn him down.
Without thinking, Shinsou was dashing toward the other teen, weaving in and out of the chaos. He had his capture weapon in his hand and then it was soaring before he could even catch up. He was a little surprised to find that he had aimed it at Midoriya instead of the villain. A quick instinctive tug and Midoriya was pulled toward him.
He caught the other and rushed them back to the outskirts before the large villain even knew what was happening. Apparently one of those more brawn than brain types but Shinsou couldn't be bothered to care. Not when that helped him and it didn't even really matter anyway.
All that mattered was that his… friend… all that mattered was that Midoriya was safe.
"Wha-? Huh? Shinsou?"
Shinsou sighed and glanced over his head to make sure the villain hadn't noticed where the hero he'd been fighting had gone. Only when he was sure they were relatively safe did he regard Midoriya.
"You're welcome. Or did you really not notice how beat up you were becoming?"
"I'm fine! I need to get out there and help our friends!"
"I know, Deku," Shinsou said, using Midoriya's hero name to drive the point home. He really did understand. It was, after all, why he was so damn frustrated.
"Then let me go!"
"I will… just… just wait. Rest for a damn second. You need to stop overdoing it. That's when you get really hurt. I…"
He shut his mouth and looked back at the fight that raged on.
"I don't want to see my friends--" You. "--get hurt, Deku."
Midoriya sighed. Shinsou glanced back to see the other offering an apologetic smile.
"I didn't mean to worry you, Shinsou," he said, his tone apologetic but there was something else there too. Something the brainwashing hero couldn't quite put his finger on.
Instead of focusing on that, he just scoffed and scuffed the ground under his foot.
"S'fine. You're just being you." He flashed a teasing grin. "Annoying."
"Yeah. Not the first time I've heard that. It probably won't be the last."
Shinsou nodded. He glanced at the fight again, unable to allow his gaze to linger on the other boy for long.
"Thank you."
Shinsou looked back at the other, his eyes widening. He wasn't expecting to be thanked.
"Yeah…" he brought a hand up to rub at the back of his neck. "S'nothing."
He looked at the other again. Midoriya was beaming at him and he couldn't help but smile back at him.
Suddenly there was a shout for assistance from someone and both Midoriya and Shinsou looked to see what had caused it.
Bakugou and Kirishima seemed to be struggling with the same villain Midoriya had tried to handle on his own.
Looking back at Midoriya, he sighed.
"Just don't do anything reckless, Midoriya," Shinsou begged as he loosened the binds and pulled them away. He wrapped them around his neck and shoulders once more.  "Promise me."
Midoriya nodded and beamed. "Mmhm. I promise!"
"Good. Go." He watched as Midoriya started to leave but had his hand around the other's wrist to pull him back. "Because I'm not sure I'll ever have the courage to do this again…"
A moment later, Shinsou pressed his lips to Midoriya's, eyes shut tight. There was a pause along with a gasp but then Midoriya was kissing him back.
Midoriya. Was. Kissing. Him. Back.
Shinsou released Midoriya's wrist and arms wrapped around his neck as Shinsou wrapped his own around Midoriya's waist. The shorter male deepened the kiss and Shinsou gasped breathlessly, giving Midoriya the opening he needed to slip his tongue into Shinsou's mouth. They kissed a little longer before Shinsou pulled away, albeit reluctantly, knowing the others needed Midoriya in the fight.
"We are discussing this at length later, Hitoshi," Midoriya said, his kind gaze locked with Shinsou's.
Shinsou allowed his signature smirk to slip over his lips, trying his best to keep the worry and fear from his eyes.
"I look forward to it, Izuku. Now go."
Midoriya leaned in to kiss his cheek before rushing back into the battle, joining Bakugou and Kirishima, much to Bakugou's dismay.

Meet Cute Prompts // #20 - EraserMic
You walk out of a dressing room asking if the outfit suits you, but it’s not your friend waiting outside the room like you thought.
---
Aizawa couldn't believe he'd let Nemuri talk him into this.
Well, talk into was a generous way to put it.
In reality, she had pulled him from his classroom where he'd been grading students' exams and urged him into her car, claiming it was an emergency.
When they reached their destination, however, he'd scoffed to find they had arrived at the local mall.
"Nemuri. A sale at your favorite overpriced boutique is not an emergency."
She glanced at him, smirking. She didn't even have the decency to look ashamed. That was nothing new, however, and they were already here so there was nothing else for it. He'd just have to put up with her flitting from store to store until she was satisfied.
At least, that's what he'd thought would happen.
It would have been far preferable to what had actually happened.
Following her into the mall, he'd let her guide him by the wrist until they stopped at a store he knew she frequented. This was sadly not the first time she'd dragged him along on her shopping sprees. He was highly doubtful it would be the last.
He'd followed her in silence as he always did, watching others around them. He wondered why so many people were willing to pay such outrageous prices for clothes that were perhaps marginally better than clothes found at big box stores.
After a while, Nemuri had announced it was time to try on the clothes she'd found and Aizawa sighed but followed her to the dressing rooms. It wasn't until she'd pushed the bunch of clothes into his hand and pushed him into a dressing room that he realized she'd orchestrated this whole thing for him.
And that's where he was now.
Staring at himself, he took in the clothes he now wore and grimaced.
"This is completely unnecessary, Nemuri. There is nothing wrong with my clothes."
He heard a barely concealed snort.
"That's where you're wrong, honey. Look. Just choose one of those outfits for me. Then we can go."
Aizawa rolled his eyes. "Or I could just leave."
"You could. But I'm your ride, Shouta. And I'm not leaving this store until you pick an outfit."
Aizawa grumbled. Well, it's definitely not this one.
He sighed heavily, weighing his options. It was very unlikely he would be able to stubborn his way out of this which only left playing by her rules.
"I hate you," he murmured but without any real feeling behind it. She knew it wasn't true.
"And I love you," she trilled. He grumbled but steeled himself for the task at hand. Pulling off the first outfit, he rehung the clothes on their hangers before moving on to the next.
He pulled the second outfit on but quickly pulled it off again. It was far too tight. Nemuri should have known better.
The third outfit wasn't horrible, but it wasn't really to his taste. Too bright. And still a little too fitted.
Pulling on the last, he was already doubtful. Until he turned to look at himself in the mirror.
Hmm.
The top was black, long sleeved, and made of a really soft sweater material. The pants were the only pair that were of a jean material but didn't look like jeans. They were also black. The shirt underneath was a light grey, which—while he would rather have black—went admittedly well with the overall look.
The only real complaint he had was that the pants were what he assumed to be skinny jeans. He really didn't like clothes that fit in such a restrictive manner but that was usually due to unnecessary discomfort. This pair of pants was actually quite comfortable and, though he would never tell Nemuri, he found they really worked well for his figure.
At least, from what he could tell just from looking. He didn't really claim to know much about fashion. He eyed his hair and sighed, slipping one of the hair bands off of his wrist. Sometimes he needed to get his hair out of his face so he made sure that he was never without a couple.
With a quick, practiced motion, Aizawa had his hair pulled back into a messy bun. Looking over his reflection in the mirror, he tried but failed to stop the upward tug of his lips.
He looked good. At least, from what he could tell. Then again, he really didn't care what he looked like so he had no idea if Nemuri would agree.
Deciding the best course of action was to just ask his best friend, he sighed and unlocked the door. He quickly made his way to the larger mirror as he spoke, looking at his reflection once more.
"So what do you think? Because I'm telling you right now that none of the other choices were even close to being picked so this is your one chance for me to accept an outfit."
"Uh… well then, hot stuff. Let me assure you that that outfit is checking all the right boxes."
Aizawa flushed at the words that had most certainly not come from his best friend. Unless his best friend's voice had lowered a few octaves.
Spinning around, he found a slightly taller man in impossibly tight clothes leaning against the wall not far from him. The man had yellow tinted glasses and his long blonde hair was partially pulled back, creating an almost regal hair style. If it weren't for the tiny mustache, in a style Aizawa didn't see often, the man was just feminine enough that he'd likely get mistaken for a woman.
The almost annoyingly loud tone of voice, however, would clear up any confusion. Still, even so… Aizawa couldn't deny that the man was attractive in an unconventional sort of way. And the way he was looking at Aizawa had the reserved teacher standing just a little taller.
"You don't say," he murmured, trying not to let the praise go to his head as he turned back to his reflection. "And which boxes might those be?"
The blonde flushed a little bit and made his way over.
"The outfit just really suits your body…" he tapered off, his eyes on Aizawa's reflection, holding his gaze.
"Aizawa," Aizawa supplied gruffly, looking at himself rather than the appreciative look in the other's eyes.
"Yamada," the blonde offered with a winning grin. "Now, is there some hot date that you're getting this for because, if so, lucky partner."
It was Aizawa's turn to flush. He was not used to the attention but, for some reason, he didn't mind it just now.
In fact, he was kind of enjoying it.
Ridiculous.
And yet, here he was.
"I do not have a partner… my best friend strong-armed me into getting an outfit she approves of and this was the only one I could remotely tolerate."
"Well then, hot stuff, would it be too crazy for me to ask for your digits?"
Aizawa hesitated. His gut reaction was to say no but something stopped him.
Maybe it was because he'd never had another person interested in him. Or perhaps it was because it would get Nemuri off his back for a while. She would be very proud of him if he'd not only been asked for his number but he'd also given it.
"I suppose," he said finally, trying to keep his tone neutral.
There was no way he was pleased to have been asked by such a loud and obnoxious man. And it definitely didn't mean he was interested. He wasn't.
At least, those were the lies he told himself as he dictated his contact information while Yamada entered it into his phone.
The blonde had just slipped his phone back into his pants pocket—Aizawa having no idea how he managed with such tight pants—with an excited smile when a loud cry filled the place.
"Oh my god! Shouta, you look so good! It fills me with pleasurable warmth and vibrates deep to my core to see you looking like a certifiable snack."
She turned to the blonde who stood there, looking at Nemuri before glancing at Aizawa once more.
"Don't you agree?"
Aizawa glanced at the blonde who was nodding empathetically. "You bet your ass, I do!"
Aizawa blushed and glared at his best friend who was now looking between himself and Yamada. He could see the gears turning and falling into place. Just as a big grin slipped over her face, Aizawa took her hand and tugged her toward the store.
"Good to meet you, Yamada. We must be off now. A teacher's job is never done."
"Good bye, hot stuff. I'll text you later."
Aizawa tugged Nemuri harder just as she let out a loud squeal. "You gave him your number? OH, SHOU! I am so proud of you!"
"It's not that big of a deal," he said, words low and biting. He really hated feeling so vulnerable. "Just pay for these clothes so we can get out of here."
"Of course. But you do realize you left your other clothes in the dressing room?"
Aizawa groaned. "Just leave them. I have others as you well know."
Nemuri snickered but said nothing. She quickly paid for the clothes and asked to borrow the clerk's scissors so Aizawa could wear them out.
They had just reached her car when his phone buzzed. He glanced at Nemuri who was smiling but said nothing. With a grumble, he pulled out his phone to check his notification.
A text from an unknown number.
Ignoring the sudden rapid beating of his heart, Aizawa opened the text and read it.
Think you left your clothes here, hot stuff. But don't worry. I'll give them back to you when we go out on our first date.
The reserved teacher ignored the heat rising up his neck and into his face and quickly sent a text back.
Presumptuous of you to think I'd agree to a date.
Then a second later, grinning, he sent a follow-up text.
I suppose I could entertain the idea of a date… but only because I want my clothes back. This Saturday… 8:00 PM. There's a Ramen place not too far from where I work.
He gave him the name of the place as well and waited. A few seconds later the man responded.
It's a date, hot stuff. I'll see you there. ;D
He quickly saved Yamada's number to his contacts and put his phone away. If Nemuri noticed he smiled the whole way back, she respectfully kept it to herself.

EndHawks // Delicious Distraction
Summary: It's Keigo's birthday and Enji wants to do something special. He knows the younger man would appreciate him taking initiative and stepping out of his comfort zone. Now he just has to seduce the other off the phone.
Warnings: Smut-ish. (I stop before the smut for this particular drabble because I just felt it was the best place to end for it. Sorry. Lol.) Clothing Kink, sorta? Idk what you call it when one partner has essentially no clothes on and the other is fully clothed so yeah.
For @paradox-of-retaliation.
Read on AO3 here.
Keigo narrowed his eyes.
From his bed, Enji just regarded the winged hero with his signature stoic gaze.
Movement.
"Yeah, yeah... I'm here," Keigo said into the receiver of his cellphone. One of his sidekicks went on about a Villain that had been captured.
Keigo tried to listen. He really did. But Enji just continued to watch him from the bed with that same countenance as he tugged on the belt of his blue and white silk robe.
The sides of the robe slid down the other's body, no longer having the resistance of the belt to keep them closed.
Keigo blinked.
Words were being pushed into his ear by the phone pressed up to it but he heard nothing. Everything was radio silence as his golden amber eyes continued to stare at his lover.
Enji laid in the center of their bed, spread out but looking just as serious as he always did. The only thing to suggest that he was not as composed as he appeared to be was the flush of his ears and the angry flush of the cock weighing heavy on his stomach.
Keigo's eyes caressed and drank in the naked form of the other. Enji continued to lay there, shifting ever so slightly from time to time. Keigo could tell he wanted nothing more than to writhe under his heated, hungry appraisal.
Cock twitching in his pants, Keigo swallowed hard.
"Huh? Oh yeah. Okay. Something's come up. I gotta go. See you tomorrow."
He quickly silenced his phone and locked it as he rushed across the room, several feathers now zipping around the winged hero trying to pull off his clothes.
"Leave them on tonight."
Keigo's brain had already been running at half power from the moment Enji had let his robe slide open. Now he was certain he had no brain cells left.
"What?"
"You can do it with them still on, right? Just come over here. Join me. I need to feel your clothed body against my bare skin."
Cock throbbing, Keigo tossed his phone haphazardly onto the nightstand, joining his lover on their bed.
Enji, blushing, held the other's gaze, his own serious expression softening briefly.
"Happy birthday, Keigo," he said, his voice low as he defiantly ignored his desire to cover up. If he could face countless villains over the years and take down a high end Nomu with no help but the assistance from the very same man now leaning over him... if he could do those things, he could ignore the urge to give into his shame.
"Oh, baby... thank you..." His golden eyes continued to feast on the art laid out beneath him. "Let's take good care of you, yeah?"
Enji, ears burning, nodded. "Please."

Notes: So, this first drabble is not really my first EndHawks but it is the first finished. My first is actually a oneshot that is still being written. (Hawks talks a lot in my head okay so it's a lot to put down on paper.) I was originally not planning on sharing this at all expect with the person whose conversation with me about the scene inspired me to actually write it. Sorry it ends before it gets good but I felt like it was the best place. Give you just a taste. Leave you wanting more. Haha.
I can assure you the other fic I'm working on will DEFINITELY make up for the lack of sex in this one.
If you guys like this and want more of the random EndHawks stuff I write, let me know. Thanks again for the inspo, Erik! :D
