i’m back in a dark place, so i decided to stop here for a bit, look at old messages, take in the memories that were built on this blog - and i am so grateful.
i still love each and every person i met here. you were what i called my first family, you showed me i can do something with my talent and that i belong somewhere. i’m not sure i still do now.
i don’t see myself being anywhere in the future. all i see is black, all i see is nothing. i don’t even know why i’m writing all of this now. anyways...
i just wanted to check in here, see what you all are up to after almost 2 years since the last time i logged into this account. i love you all.

You laughed as Jisung jumped in the seat beside you. He nuzzled his face into your hair and squeezed his eyes shut. Finally you had convinced him into watching a scary movie with you after months of begging. Although it was comical how easily he was frightened, it was also rather endearing.
“What happened to the Jisung who’s ‘not afraid of anything’?”
Fingers making air quotations as you used his words from only an hour ago against him. Another laugh escaped you as you saw him peek out just to glare at you.
“I’m a changed man now, y/n, the things I’ve seen… They do things to you…”
You let off a scoff at his words, he was so unbelievably dramatic.
“Jisung, it was one, one monster! Besides it’s just a movie!”
Though when you felt his arms tighten around your waist, and his face nuzzle a little deeper into your neck, you decided it was enough. He was scared. You reached for the remote, hitting the power button before tossing it somewhere out of reach.
“Come here, Sungie”
Pushing him back from your neck, you laid back, pulling his head down onto your chest instead. His hair was soft, and you could feel him smile as you ran your fingers through it.
“I won’t let any monster ever hurt you, okay?”
The male whined at this, looking up at you with a pout on his face.
“But I’m supposed to be the one protecting you, y/n, the one comforting you when you need it!”
Hushing him, you pressed a gentle kiss to his forehead.
“You protect me plenty, and who comforted me and took care of me when I had the flu?”
His eyes met yours and you could see a small smile forming on his face.
“Well I guess I did do that…”
A soft chuckle pushed past your lips as you continued to play with his hair.
“Do you want to stay here tonight?”
All you got in response was a light squeeze and an eager nod.
he flops down on his best friend’s bed, glaring at the romance movie posters plastered on the walls.
“what’s so difficult about them, minnie? they’re fun! you get butterflies and blushy and you start trying to write poetry…all that fun stuff?” his best friend, hwang hyunjin, didn’t even look up from his notes to speak.
hyunjin was the sappiest, most love-filled person seungmin knew. he loved romance movies and dating and being in love.
seungmin, on the other hand, had never had a crush before. sure, he’s been attracted to people, but no …. poetic thoughts.
“p-poetry?”
“yeah. do you….oh my god.” hyunjin stood from his desk chair, “do you write poetry about y/n?”
“n-no!”
“KIM SEUNGMIN.” and he pounced. he landed right next to seungmin on the bed, hands coming out to smack at the younger boy as he squealed.
