I do love watching them but this is the first one i'll officially be in which is crazy. I did visit the Van Gogh Museum and it was incredible, I did a lot of the touristy things while I was there and it was definitely worth it.

do you like doing music videos? or is this your first one you've gotten to film before? the van gogh museum was a spot i went to, then this place called vodelpark? it was so damn beautiful, i'll tell you that.

You definitely have, but I never mind hearing it again and for the record, I love doing life with you as well.

Okay, true. Have I mentioned lately how much I love doing life with you?

I did! I had to grow some facial hair and wear a pretty old looking sweater but I think I just managed to pull it off. Yeah it's crazy but so fun too, especially getting to work with all those brands and people like you say. They absolutely are, they're delicious, it's probably good I was only there on holiday otherwise i'd eat them everyday.

Time Out. You played a high school teacher? You look like one of those teachers who could actually be a student. Sorry for sounding so shocked. I know what you mean about the entertainment business though with doing small acting parts to working with some of my favorite brands like Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham. Oh my goodness, I have heard about those pancakes. Are they everything people say about them and more?

That's fair, I can understand that. I really enjoyed the music video scenes as well. It was fun too because it only took a weekend to shoot and it's basically a short film. So I can understand why you enjoy them so much, especially with your catalogue of music, a lot of them are probably pretty different which would be fun to play around with. I am, travelling to Venice for the Armani Beauty film festival there actually, how about you?

i'm not all that deep on the movies and tv experiences so probably need to say music videos since that's what i'm used to. it combines two things i love, too, so really not kind of comparison for me. now if a show or movie came around to change things for me, maybe i'd be singing a different tune. who knows? nice, man. glad to hear that. what's going on for you now?

That is insane. Moana is an incredible film, which song did you work on? Or create? I actually think its one of the best Disney movies made in a long time. New York is definitely a special place. I'm in LA most of the time now but I always love an opportunity to visit New York when I can.

Anytime I look back on being in Hamilton, but also becoming genuine friends with Lin to the point of doing a song with him for Moana I'm just like 'what the HELL' to myself. Insane. I love it here so much, dude. This city will always be home, but then I miss being able to be in LA and Florida all at the same time. This industry we got in really made us nomads where it's hard to just stay in one place.

That's got to be the best way I've seen the entertainment industry described. It absolutely is a rollercoaster with no brakes. Which I love but yeah it's chaotic at the best of times. It was super wild, Zach and I are good friends so it was actually a really fun time. They're super tricky too when you get the tiny ones and suddenly you've eaten thirty of them without realising. Pretty good actually, I enjoyed Amsterdam a lot.

the entertainment industry is like a rollercoaster with no brakes. one minute, you're playing a character in a world that feels miles away from your own, and the next, you're in front of a camera, trying to keep up with a new vibe. filming a music video with zach bryan must have been wild! and amsterdam? dude, those dutch pancakes are no joke. i had some when i was there, and let's just say i didn’t hold back either. how’s it feel to go from mr. high school to a pancake connoisseur?

See that's really clever but unfortunately, I just don't know if I would ever remember to do that. If I don't do something when I think about it then it's just lost to the void usually. What kind of songs did you put on this playlist?

This is why you curate the playlists ahead of time so they're already ready! I do a lot of mine when I'm laying in bed and can't sleep, especially when I'm in certain moods but it's not the time to listen music. Or I put them on a notes app to remind myself to add them to their respective playlists later.

Yeah it was and we shot on a little beach town too so that really helped the vibes of the video. We actually have a week in Venice for some Armani Beauty events so technically work but we at least get to do it together which is nice. What about you? Have anything fun coming up?

that's deep and a lot of potential for some good music video magic. you had some freedom during it? that's always a good vibe. you see that easily come off once the video drops, too. the final countdown's on. are you two going to have some time together now or there's other things going on?

That does sound intense, hopefully you had a little bit of time to explore and check it all out. Oh yeah, were you any good? I love when projects afford the chance to do random little things like that.

It was so cool. I've literally never been so it was trying to explore while also filming super intense running and action scenes. And as a horse girl, I got to ride horses as much as I wanted and that made me happy.

I completely agree with that. Oh nice, what were you filming there? I filmed in Australia a couple of times and I really enjoyed that. I've never been married but wedding planning does sound stressful. Do you have a wedding planner or are you just doing it all yourself? I'm just taking a break actually which is nice.

i agree. getting to see where their minds would take them since they don't know the full ins and outs is always so mind opening. kind of makes you look at things a bit differently. i actually just wrapped on filming in new zealand which was super cool. kind of enjoying the litle bit of off time i have until another project comes around. more so focusing on wedding planning right now, which i fear is more stressful than anything else. do you get to do anything else exciting now that the filming for the video is done?

It's great, I actually love it. It's nice to be busy for a little while and then get time to rest.

So, How does it feel doing all that stuff and then having a bunch of time off after all that?

I completely get that, it's crazy when you get to look back on things like that in your career. I mean, i'm almost jealous of you getting to live in New York. Some of the best food in all of America is in Manhattan and the boroughs. I'm sure you could find a really good dutch pancake guy and i'm always willing to help you try.

Dude, tell me about it. When I look at some of the things I've done, I'm just like 'how in the hell did I pull that off?' The pancakes sound delicious though, definitely jealous of that. The only thing I don't like about being on Broadway is that I'm stuck in NYC almost 24/7 and don't get to go do stuff like that.

No I totally understand that. I have adhd so if I don't commit to just hitting skip quickly everytime then i'll end up spending the entire time trying to curate a playlist and I won't actually get to listen to it at all, which is fun sometimes but not if i'm trying to get something done.

I like all the music I have too, but I don't wanna have to hit skip a million times just to get to the vibes I'm needing in the moment. That's probably so anal of me, don't judge me please.

It is for sure. I love getting feedback from people outside the industry on things because then you know it's super genuine and not just someone trying to make a networking connection. Thank you, do you have anything fun that you're working on now or soon?

it's always interesting to see what people not in this industry think when it comes to stuff like that. for us, this is a normal thing almost and then for them it's this huge deal. which is so endearing in most cases. i'll definitely look forward to that! would love to give my support for something you worked on.

I don't think we're that bougie. We like to travel but that's about it. We spend 90% of our time in sweats so I think it evens out.

When did we become this bougie ass couple? I'm a little disgusted by us but not enough to not say yes, yes, yes to all of that.

Wow really? I've always wanted to go to Morocco but i've never been what was that like? Especially filming there, that sounds like a dream.

It was even longer this year, plus we were in Morocco for a little bit at the beginning of the year. Ooh, next time I'm in town I'll have to try to track them down. I do love a good carb, and adding sugar just makes it better.
