'' The Firebrat, a quite common dragon that lives near cliffs and forests. They can be seen getting inside houses, eating household pets and small livestock animals, and perhaps making nests on roofs and abandoned buildings. they are fierce vermin... a small dragon packing a punch despite of its size. Their fire isnt gas based like other dragons. Instead, they create a spark with their tongue to ignite oily mucus that sticks to most things, even their own skin. It is thought the Firebrat is made out of hatred and the embers of a dying fire... they like to set themselves on fire only to consume. A quite nasty habit. Class: Volatile Firepower: Strong Venom: X Speed: Quite agile fliers, they're fast sprinters also. Blindspot: When covered on their own fire, a good bucket full of cold frigid water may aswell be your best solution. They dont like loud noises, and damaging those wings will have this dragon on your mercy. ''

Slowly bullying myself into doing backgrounds.
Biohazards are biohazards, and while certain bloodborne illnesses have a harder time jumping between different types of blood molecules, there are plenty that have no trouble going from one species to the next. Not to mention the new and weird illnesses that can pop up as a side effect.
It's a good thing that Kirison, who doesn't have conventional biology much less blood, is trained for biohazard cleanup!
Version without text under the cut, but it's really just more ceiling.

I’d been working on a re-read of Hunters Unlucky, and the following books, and had been taking the time that I could to fully sketch out ideas… fell off a bit (a lot) around the middle of Arcove’s Bright Side, but I’m really happy with the shapes and the vibes.

what annoys me about explaining evolution to people who don’t think it’s real is that everyone’s idea of how it works seems to be from this

Whereas the reality is far more like

The central joke of the Ulysses Ogre meme hinges on the Ogre holding themselves to unreasonable standards by expecting to fully grasp one of the most famously difficult works of the 20th Century after only a single reading, which just doesn't work if you substitute your favourite video game, because frankly, your favourite video game is not Ulysses – but to be fair, the overwhelming majority of books are not Ulysses either. There's probably a video game somewhere out there that's as textually challenging as Ulysses, and it's probably some random-ass RPG Maker game from 2006 with an author whose name is a dick joke and a present fandom of approximately eleven people.

PROTEI: 10 YEARS SINCE THE SPACE LEAP
A postcard from the universe of total decay showing a totally realistic and not at all impossible megastructure that made electricity free for the entire planet
It's an array of solar panels that loop around Protei and beam energy to the surface using microwaves. I think something akin to that has actually been proposed in real life, but it's obviously somewhat impractical. In UoTD, however, it was (or will be more accurately) actually constructed due to differences in material science and the political conjucture

Osocran lore art post time! :) They received a bit of a design „upgrade“ to look less dinosaur and more alien. Woo

Their eyes are also special. More about that will be available on our website as a lore post.
