In the winter chill, when nobody's around

Cool wind blows. A deep howl

Is sounded in air like an audible scowl

The flowers of the sky descend with grace

As a shadow is cast in the open space.

'MOA's penguin' is what fans call

The figure in snow that stands sure and tall

Kai's warm smile shines pure and bright

As he traverses through the blanket of white

He is a true source of inspiration —

With talents observed beyond the nation

This penguin-like idol is, by many, held dear

May he find peace, love, and joy in this new year.

AJ's note: Happy birthday, Hyuka! 🐧 Revived myself on Tumblr for Hyuka Day. Funny story, I told my friends I thought of a poem on my birthday (13th) for Kai because I couldn't fall asleep that morning; that led to this post. I hope my penguin twin is having a lovely birthday.

The gentle waves embrace the shore for a fleeting moment. The cool breeze dances above the water, creating a refreshing ambience. Your legs dangle from the great, gray rock upon which you sit as you look into the twinkling horizon. A familiar dimple smile on your right pulls you out of your reverie, filling your heart with warmth. A soft smile grows on your face as you make eye contact with Choi Soobin. “It's so peaceful here, isn't it?” the tall male queries. You nod in response, looking back at the sea, which entertains the moonlight shining on its surface.

The sky is painted with a colourful mix of pinks, oranges, and blues. The autumn breeze gently ruffles my hair as I look into the horizon, admiring the beauty of the familiar sunset. Stratus clouds decorate the sky as if it's a canvas – savouring the last bit of warmth the sun offers before it sets completely – transitioning to a cool night. Beside me is the one and only Yang Jungwon, who glances at me with a twinkle in his brown eyes before he speaks.

”No matter how many times you see a sunset, it's always just as beautiful.“

AJ's note: First post! It's pretty simple, but I felt that it really matches the 'sunset' theme of my account :)
