But it doesn’t make sense to apply a heterosexual power analysis to relationships that are not heterosexual. Similarly, comparing domestic violence to BDSM, just because both of them involve power dynamics, doesn’t work.

One of the things i've been thinking about on various Discourses on women's shameful desires and self-objectification is that the audience for cuck porn is white men.

I think what a lot of white people who follow this blog do not understand is that existing as black in a public sphere automatically comes with the knowledge that people will be horrifically, overtly racist to you with very little if any consequence, and that no one will even think about it until you point it out or unless you put your pain on display in a satisfactory enough manner that they choose to allow you your tears.

I was talking to boyf about how simply existing as black on tumblr, when I am active I get at minimum 3 racist rants and/or "nigger" messages to my askbox every single day, and I have been on tumblr since 2012. You learn to block and move on because posting them with a witty retort usually nets you like 5 more, but because I usually just block and move on... it doesn't get shown in public on here.

I've seen my black followers and mutuals mention this same problem- nonblack and especially white people who follow along, did you know? Did you know that all of your favorite black creators and social media presences are also most likely dealing with the same thing? A constant barrage of racism every day they choose to sign in?

Or was that something that only registered to you as a risk, and not as a reality?

Do you people seriously think trans men don’t have severe social pressure to never ever consider that they might be men? Do you think transphobia as a whole only applies to trans women? What do you think happens when a trans man comes out, that the whole family gets together to throw a fucking party or some shit?

The beginning was just kind of silly and operates on the presumption that we can’t at least share a community in-joke about a shared or at the very least similar experience. But the part about “no extreme social pressures” is just an enraging load of horse shit. I get that trans women faced pressure to live as men and that’s awful. Now please realize that not everyone is pressured to live as men and some of us were actually heavily pressured to live as women and this is still awful.

one of the things i really like about how brennan dms is that he is categorically incapable of punishing kindness. every time one of his players does some crazy ass shit out of the goodness of their hearts, he adjusts the universe to accommodate that kindness. this obviously creates very touching scenes (see: emily and the junkmother, the bad kids getting jawbone a job as a guidance counselor, every interaction they have with baba yaga including pib stealing from her, etc.) but also it means that he lets ally invent a silkworm civilization that's evolved to the bronze age and produces chain link patterned silk shirts just to cheer emily up. bronze age silkworms. for emily.
