"Because the Tsar is extremely busy and we are trying to solve this before he gets very VERY upset! Now for the love of the stars, STOP SQUIRMING!" he demanded sternly. "Solar travel is more difficult when you can't visibly see the sunbeams and I don't need you wriggling around and falling out osomewhere in the sky."
It had been a long day for Howl, babysitting and confronting his father it was time for bed. Laying down on top the bed covers of his new home he laid his hands on his chest and dozed off.

"If you do not come with me, we may very well never find Lady Sol, which means in a matter of days, the sun will go supernova. Explode. BOOM. Am I clear?" Without waiting for Howl's response, the guard lifted him over one shoulder, striding out of the room.

"Listen to me, child." the man retorted sharply. "You will either come with me or I will bring you to the Core by any means necessary. This solar system doesn't have time for your complaining or denials, am I clear? Now come along, Mr. Black. Or shall I have to drag you?"

The man frowned at all of the questions. "Commander Alenza sent me. He's working with Mr. Qwerty on the Solar Core. You may have information vital to the whereabouts of Lady Helene Sol. Now hush and let's go."

"I do not care how I appear to you. Nor anyone else. My plans are my own business and I shall return to them." He gruffly spit the words at her, the shadows forming tightly and then vanishing as the Maharaja slowly rested back against the bars and closed his eyes, rubbing his throat.
Helene knelt down by the bars, resting a soothing hand upon the Maharaja's shoulder. "I'm sorry, dearie." she murmured. "My intent was to draw his wrath towards me, rather than you..."

"Howl Black?"
A broad-shouldered male burst into the room, hardly caring about whether or not he had splintered the door as he shouldered his way inside. "Your presence is requested. Follow me."

"You're quite mistaken. I do have an issue with him. A few centuries along the lines but nevertheless. I have my own plans to see to and now because of this brat's future prattling on and distracting me I have to completely revamp." The darkness withdrew and let the trembling man slide gasping to the floor, a cough rattling him as the shadow watched on in disgust. "I'm in no mood for games, Sol. I have work to do."
"What was so important that I was locked away for it?" she demanded. "Stop threatening the mortal. You hardly seem impressive that way.In fact, it simply looks cowardly."

"Nope. I'm far enough away here. Right now I could personally care less if the Earth went down in flames, and that wreck of a Golden Age ship with it." His voice was enraged as the white robed man was suddenly slammed against the bars. Clearly from the southeast Asiatic region. "However -this- gentleman has caused the damage. Not myself." He leaned closer to the cringing man, "Maharaja, I am very tired of being a pawn, to anyone..."
Helene hissed angrily as the maharaja was slammed into the bars. "Your issue is with me, Darkling, not him. Or shall I start from the beginning round of my little song again? It's quite enjoyable, don't you think?"

"Not. So. Fast." Darkling's voice growled, countered by a gasping wheeze as the man's feet left the ground, his hands gripping up towards his throat. "Hm. You summoned me, Sol. What is it you want?" The entire hallway was devoid of light, each lamp snuffed out and the shadows oozing across every surface to coil around her friend.
"Darkling, I presume?" Helene arched an eyebrow at the creature's display of power. "For starters, you can unhand the gentleman who was speaking earlier. Then, you can unlock the door. And finally, you can get out of my way as I return home and fix the damage you've caused."

"You mad fool. Utterly mad." His voice had gone quiet, almost fearful. He hated himself for it. Once proud and strong, a ruler of men, reduced to being afraid of the dark because of one woman and what he had become. "If you insist on summoning him here, I am going to leave. I refuse to place myself in danger by staying."
"Leave if you wish. I will speak to my captor regardless..." she stated, giving a shrug of her shoulders. It would be upsetting to lose the mysterious voice's civilized company, but sacrifices had to be made.
