This is Annie Karlo.

She’s comes from one of my favorite episodes of BTAS, “Growing Pains”.

She’s a clay being, created by Clayface, that gained sentience as a teenage girl. Basically his daughter, she is tragically reabsorbed and killed. But in my version, a sentient person is very difficult to fully integrate, so she later separates from Clayface and goes on to live her own life. She, of course, joins the Suns of Gotham.

This is “Junior”, Roman Sionis Jr, he is Black Mask’s son.

Junior has a weird relationship with his dad. He has a whole complex about not being the real “son”, despite his father actually naming him Junior. Roman Sionis Sr. supports his son as a self made man in both in a criminal business sense as well as paying for his transition. But... Black Mask is also pretty crazy, so in spite of being monetarily supportive, he also “helped” his son be a man by “toughening” him up.

Roman Jr. also has a little brother named Rosé, whom he adores and often protects, mostly from their father. In a move against Black Mask, he hospitalizes his brother and secretly sends him off to boarding school. Angered for not knowing where his youngest son is, he lets Junior get convicted.

At age 17, Junior is sentenced to 2 years of incarceration, of which he serves less than one. First six months in juvie, then he’s transferring to Arkham after turning 18, serves five then is discharged with a clean bill of sanity. Realizing he can’t go back to his dad, he takes custody of his brother and joins up with what will later become The Sons of Gotham.
