so the other day i got this puppy surprise and her puppies and i just kinda felt like something was off

today i went back to the thrift store and somehow, after nearly a week, i was able to find THIS

THIS (i have bought 7 secondhand plushies in the past week)

I love secondhand plushies! I love going to thrift stores and finding new friends! I love taking them home and giving them baths and brushouts! I love adopting already loved plushies from other folks' collections online! I love loving them again! I love brushing out their mats, cleaning their eyes, fixing their stuffing, and just generally bringing life back into a friend! I love bringing home plushies that have sat on shelves for years, collecting dust and finally loving them! I love saving the environment by not buying new and encouraging the production of more when we already have everything we need! I love secondhand plushies!!!

they cycle in and out in different levels

i have my Buddy, which is usually one of four or five plushies that i cycle back and forth between

i have my Bed Team, 15-20 creatures that stay on my bed at all times

and then i have my Couch Friends who go back and forth from the couch to my bed

but it all depends on what age i am mentally, if i'm smaller than normal i can have up to 70 plushies on my bed

when i'm a bit bigger it decreases down to my Buddy and Bed Team

how to make Pineapple Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

For the Pizza Dough:

2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

¾ cup warm water (110°F/45°C)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Toppings:

½ cup pizza sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)

½ cup sliced ham (optional)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water and sprinkle the yeast on top. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the olive oil and yeast mixture.

Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

Step 2: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) or use a pizza stone preheated for best results.

Step 3: Assemble the Pizza

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness (about 12 inches in diameter).

Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet.

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface of the dough.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

Add the pineapple chunks and slices of ham if using.

Sprinkle oregano and red pepper flakes (if desired) over the top.

Step 4: Bake

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Step 5: Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!

Tips

For a crispy crust, bake directly on a pizza stone.

Gael says you gotta wait until our next round of listings this Friday at 12 Noon EST (06/27/25) to meet him! That's going to be our final round of listings for a little while!

It's true, we're going on a little vacation of sorts! The shop will remain open! Our blog will continue as always! There just won't be any new stuffed animal adoption listings until the 2nd week of August (on Friday as always). That's when we'll resume with an incredible 15 new listings! Wow!
