     She doesn’t get her hand held, but she sure does have a monkey on her back. No, literally, he’s climbing up and resting his chin on her shoulder.

     Look what you’ve done. Made the trickster all riled up by acknowledging he drew an reaction out of him. Curse his always running mouth, getting him into more trouble than he bargained for. He’s supposed to be the sideline guy, who pays attention to what he has to say ?

     Little did he know he was about to become even more frustrated, on two fronts: Macaque’s lack of respect for his personal space, and getting his accessory snatched from his face. The latter was slightly more pressing, with it being so important in his day to day life. That’s what you get for sassing a demon.

     ❝ WUH- WHY YOU- ! ❞ A stammered response, spat out with disdain. The nerve ! Now the only thing Tang could barely see was a purple blob in the distance, mocking him. He knew better than to move without the glasses on, last time was almost a tragedy.

     ❝ Hilarious. Never heard that one before. I’m laughing so much right now. ❞ Scratch the disdain, it’s evolved to pure venom. Then, an idea, and a rather mean one at that. ❝ Perhaps you should try wearing them longer. You’d be able to see better through them after some time. That is… if you can handle them. These glasses are one of a kind, after all. Took me no time at all to adjust but you ? Couldn’t last five minutes with them on, guaranteed. ❞ Was this a shot in the dark, to try and trick a trickster ? Perhaps, but would it be worth it ? Absolutely.

     Now, Wuhuan wasn’t exactly sure how long he would keep it up. He didn’t really wanna deal with MK and the gang getting up in arms over their friend being teased a little ( though it would be very much warranted, as usual ), however, Tang had done this to himself, really! Honestly, what else did he expect, insulting an immortal such as he to his face? The audacity, tsk tsk.

     He snorts out a laugh, monkey-like chattering coming from him as he held his stomach, even kicking his feet up in amusement at the “challenge” posed.

     “ Oh, really? Five minutes? Fine by me! ” he smirked, tapping the side of the frame idly. There wasn’t a chance this would be as hard as Tang claims it to be. It was just... A little straining, but nothing too hard to push through! Trivial. 

     He began to circle around Tang, who looked like a wobbling fun-house version of himself. “ You know something, I think I look so much better with these on. Yeah, real scholarly... Think this could be a new look for me! ” he stops for a moment to pose, leaning against Tang before pushing himself off.

     Macaque’s circling continues, very much so doing it to taunt the other as well as bide his time until five minutes were spent and his point would be proven. His cocky behavior had the downside, however, the circling mixed with a warped vision beginning to really get to him. In fact... He had to stop for a moment. 

     He sat down with an audible huff, his sitting position soon turning into a laying one. He rested a hand on his head, brows furrowed. Okay, this wasn’t the worst, but it was getting pretty annoying; it didn’t hurt to be a little dramatic, anyhow.

     “ Bleh. This is boring. Why don’t you walk around and run into something to entertain me? ”

         She had only closed her eyes for a moment  –  Gods did not need rest, but that did not mean Chang’e could not indulge in it.  It was peaceful in her garden, towering form seated on a stony bench as she leaned against the trunk of a tree that had taken root behind it long ago.  

         Sun Wuhuan is visiting tonight.  Jade Rabbit had also wished to have a word with the simian, & Chang’e did not mind that the warrior’s attention would be divided.  After all, they have all the time in the world & then some to converse.  What’s a few minutes compared to eternity ?

         When he returned to find her resting, the goddess wondered how long he would wait for her to wake.. she did not count the seconds or the minutes that may have passed, though it felt as though a mortal lifetime had passed when he finally made the move to stand beside her.  Would he give her a light jostle, or maybe kiss her awake, like many princesses had been in so many fairytales ?  

         Perhaps his cheekiness from his youth is shining through in the moment of opportunity.  Chang’e can feel the hesitance & the heat of his face as he inches closer to her resting form, lips nearly coming into contact with the corner of painted lips.  A bold move from such a well-restrained warrior.

         The goddess had meant to playfully dodge his kiss, opting to trick him for one on the cheek.  But he proved much more daring than she had anticipated, for when she moved, he followed  – likely unintentionally  – & a swift kiss was placed on her lips.  Sun Wuhuan looked as shocked as she, though the moon-residing goddess’ cheeks are filled with a shade of rose with a grin as glimmering as the stars they stand under.

         Words are hushed as he stares at her, wide-eyed & bewildered at the glee-filled goddess, hiding behind her sleeve out of flustered sheepishness.

     “ Hm? Tired of me already? ” Wuhuan stared at Chang’e, looking a tad confused at the goddess who’d began to approach him after he was doing nothing but having a little visit, freeloading some treats off of the poor immortal. He did not anticipate her giving him not one, but three kisses on his face, his eyes widening before he fell into a bewildered stupor. 

     “ ...I—! ” he squeaked out, embarrassed that he was taken off guard, especially because of something like that. “ Ahem. Uh. Heh! If that’s how you treat the people who take your snacks, I guess I should stick around more... Right? ”

Tall and small prompts.

     It was easy for the macaque warrior to forget just how tall the goddess was, mostly due to the fact he was used to his short stature compared to most that the tallness of others began to blend in; it wasn’t so easy, however, when you were being lifted up in a hug, very well off the ground.

     He let out a chirp of surprise, blinking a couple of times as he felt his face pressed against fine silk, wondering if the warmth was from her or the blood rushing to his cheeks.

     Oh, getting him to say that is like trying to douse the sun’s fire out with a rusted bucket of water that has a hole at the bottom. It’s... Not easy. Once upon a time it was easier for him to say it, he had a lot more hope within him and he was certainly a lot happier. He’s much more jaded and closed off now, doesn’t help he’s a grumpy old man. Vulnerability does not come easy to him.

     Additionally to that, and answering the second question, he does NOT fall in love easy. Unsurprisingly, it takes quite a bit of effort to win his affections; hell, it takes forever just to get him to consider you a friend.      How they carry themselves audibly. Sounds odd, yeah, but remember: Wuhuan’s powers are focused on hearing just as much as anything else, it is in fact his most notable trait. He takes into account how confident someone sounds, how soft-spoken, how obnoxious, the whole nine yards. It’s the first thing he’ll notice, potential partner or otherwise! Not the most romantic, sure, but it helps him gauge on how a person may act. The way one speaks is more important than you’d think.
