On January 11, 2013, the body of Kendrick Johnson was found inside a rolled-up, upright gym mat with his head facing the floor by several other students at his Georgia high school. Beneath his head lay a pool of his own blood. The initial autopsy concluded that he died of positional asphyxia from hanging upside down in the mat. Students told investigators that it was common for them to store their shoes under the rolled-up mats during gym class, and hypothesized that Kendrick had gotten stuck while he was trying to retrieve his shoes. Kendrick’s parents, unsatisfied with the autopsy results, hired a private pathologist to reinvestigate Kendrick’s death. The pathologist concluded that Kendrick died of blunt force trauma to the head, not suffocation. A second autopsy was conducted on Kendrick after his funeral and it was found that all of his organs had been removed and replaced with newspapers. The funeral owner said they never received the organs from the coroner. When the coroner was asked where the organs were, he stated that they had already been ‘’discarded’’. Surveillance footage also shows Kendrick entering the gym, but no one entering before him, and hours of the tape footage were also missing around the time of his death, making it widely suspected that Kendrick’s death was a cover-up.

The Mexican Being of Light was a mysterious “being of light” sighted on November 10th, 2014, by a man named Ismael Carrillo from Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Ismael was filming at his son’s baseball game and only noticed the figure after re-watching the video later.

The figure appears to be 2-3 feet in height, translucent, and wearing a white gown of sorts. Its head is pointed, and it appears to have some sort of arm-like appendages. Strange surges of energy can be seen emitting from figure’s body. (Source)

The Disappearance of Lars Mittank

In July 2014, 28-year-old German Lars Mittank had a holiday with a couple of friends at Golden Sands in Bulgaria – a popular destination for young people from Germany and England. When partying on the beach, he gets into a fight with other tourists over football. Lars, being a fan of football club Werder Bremen, has heated argument with supporters of the rival Bayern Munich team. The conflict ends up with a brawl and Lars suffers a small injury in his ear. At the end of his trip, a doctor advises him not to fly, prescribes him an antibiotic called Cefuroxime 500, and refers him to a hospital.

When the holiday is over, he decides to stay in Bulgaria for further treatment. He rents a hotel room in the poor part of the town and convinces his friends they can leave without him. Just a day later, he shows extremely erratic and bizarre behaviour, all caught on CCTV cameras, and vanishes into thin air.

He spent a night at a hotel but got paranoid and scared. He panicked and texted his mom saying he didn’t feel safe, that she should cancel his credit card and that he was hiding from four men following him, who asked what the pills (antibiotics) were.

According to the physician, the young man indeed visited the doctor’s office next day, but as soon as he got there, he suddenly jumped up and ran out. The episode was also caught on the surveillance video. After leaving the airport, people saw him climbing over a fence, disappearing into a nearby forest.

Lars’ family says he has no history of mental illness. The reason for his hysteric behaviour could be an undetected head injury from the fight. Or a psychotic break, but it’s unlikely it happened from taking the antibiotics.

As a child, I was a picky eater like I assume most children are. As my parents tell it, my eating habits transcended normal childhood proclamations of “I don’t like broccoli!” and evolved into a refusal to eat absolutely anything of substance. Things other children might eat and enjoy like chicken nuggets, spaghetti, or even a hot dog were shunned by toddler me. It got to the point, they say, where they and my paediatrician became concerned for my health.
