Nevia tested the hold of her Gauntlets on her arm. The gentle humming of the, now cleansed,  Ahamkara bones filled her mind and gave her a sense of security. Chia hovered by her side, checking over their gear. “You think, you’re ready for this?” Her ghost’s single optic seemed to be rushing over her face but the huntress just shrugged.

“I have to work again someday, Chia. Crucible and Gambit can’t pay all my stuff.”

“Drifter would argue otherwise.”

“Yeah, it’s Drifter. He is always up for everything shady. No, life needs to go on..eventually. So.. Let’s grab this new patrol and go, ok?” She strapped the Malfeasance and the Ace of Spades to each of her thighs, Taranis resting at her hip. Kura asked her to go to the Dreaming City to lend a hand to Petra and Nevia happily agreed. It would give her a chance to see her friend again and admire the Dreaming City from another viewpoint than up in the sky from the Derelict.
